We just had dinner here. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was simple, authentic, and tasty. The Spaghetti alla Carrettiera was superb. I highly recommend it if you're in Palermo.

I came here twice: for a snack and for dinner. We had a platter of cheese, salami, prosciutto, olives, etc for the snack. Then, for dinner a 3 course meal for $16. After all of these, we had tiramisu and frozen truffle . I came with my daughter and wife I would return. ☝️😉

This is a lovely place for lunch, drinks, or dinner. We were staying on the neighborhood and felt right at home every time we stopped here. The staff is kind and generous and the food is excellent. It's the kind of local place we search for when we are traveling.

04/05/2026: Buatta stands out among the myriad of restaurants in the Palermo historic centre. The food was delicious, with an elevated take on Sicilian cuisine. The service was excellent, from the sommalier, who recommended the perfect bottle of wine for us, to the servers who were happy to answer our questions and make recommendations. If you’re in Palermo, don’t miss out on a dinner at Buatta. .
03/05/2026: Good food, but very expensive. A vegetable appetizer (peas, broad beans, and a small artichoke) cost €14.
