14/11/2025: In Palermo for just one night, near the hotel I found this lovely, welcoming place, with two young waiters who make you feel at ease and good food. Excellent value for money. A little gem: when I got to the hotel, I noticed the tiramisu (delicious) I'd eaten was missing from the bill. I went back to pay for it, but with a big smile the waitress thanked me and said it was on the house... 🤩 What can I say... try it and believe it!

15/10/2025: A family dinner introduced us to this restaurant. Located on the busy Via Montepellegrino, it's easy to get to, but parking is a bit more difficult. The location is welcoming and elegant, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The dishes—we had appetizers, pasta, main courses, and pizza—were beautifully presented and of good quality and flavor. Good value for money.

03/09/2025: DON'T SET FOOT IN THERE!!!! The phenomenon here thinks he can advertise himself with The Fork, with a 50% discount... and since you pay 50%, he thinks he has the right to have to cook at 50%! He made me half portions of both the appetizer and the pasta portion... 10 mussels in total and four strands of pasta counted without sauce... shame on you!!

28/06/2025: High level Sicilian seafood / pasta experience. Cozy little enclave with AC blasting on a blazing hot summer day. Antipasta mare, seafood fettuccine with amberjack and shrimps and the pasta with lobster all 5/5. Great service, clean and lowkey space. One of the best meals in Palermo

15/11/2025: I went here to listen to some good live music. The owner welcomed me very warmly, sending me a preview video on WhatsApp. I found him very kind and helpful. The evening was fantastic. The artist who performed was excellent and engaging. I went with friends for a drink.

07/03/2026: A truly delightful discovery. We stumbled upon this trattoria almost by mistake, having booked a table at the adjacent pizzeria of the same name. But as soon as we entered and saw the ambiance, we immediately changed our minds. My wife and I were there on a Friday. The atmosphere was intimate, with several separate rooms where small groups dined in complete tranquility. The first thing we noticed was the absence of the typical "revelry" that too often occurs in restaurants. Then we were drawn to the kindness and friendliness of Mr. Biondo, the owner, who is capable of entertaining you with the history of the place. The food was truly delicious, especially the pasta with the freshest sea urchins, which are brought to you open on a separate plate so you can season it as you like. And the strudel, well-seasoned and just warm, was truly delicious. As mentioned, a delightful discovery.

The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite to the last, and every dish is meticulously crafted. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and always available. Excellent value. 05/01/2026: We've been visiting our dear friends at "Baglio Ciachea" for some time now because they're a surefire success, from the location, which feels like a truly delightful place, to the products themselves. We were their guests on New Year's Day, and they were absolutely fantastic: a warm, Christmassy atmosphere, excellent food, and impeccable service. We were served by Giovanni and Katia, who handled everything flawlessly with their immense professionalism. Katia in particular, who took on the responsibility of serving our table, made us feel at home and pampered us. When you do your job with love and passion, this is the result. Well done, Katia, and well done everyone!!! A 10, top!!!

02/01/2026: My family and I went there for New Year's Eve lunch, everything was excellent from the starter to the dessert, even for my little son who is very fussy, impeccable service, excellent value for money, we will definitely be back

28/02/2026: We simply wanted to have a drink. Although the place was practically empty, we were turned away with the explanation that we could only get a table if we also ordered food. This unfriendly refusal prompted us to go to another, very modest restaurant nearby. There, we got a table without any trouble – even though we also only wanted drinks. And lo and behold: because of the incredibly warm welcome, we spontaneously decided to order food. It could be so easy to attract customers even out of season.

14/02/2026: An experience truly worth repeating. Welcoming and quiet. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the delicious cuisine. Excellent quality, top-notch oysters. I recommend the spaghetti with sea urchins, fabulous, and the spaghetti with squid ink, burrata, and sea urchins, exceptional. They'll definitely see me again. Compliments to the wait staff and the entire kitchen.

09/03/2026: We had originally planned to watch the procession, but it was cancelled. Based on the reviews, we ended up here. I highly recommend it. A complimentary bottle of red wine was offered by the house. The food was fantastic. We started with antipasti with olives, followed by Sicilian carponata with olives and cheese. For the main course, they recommended the carponata with green asparagus. To finish, we were served an amuse-bouche. And when we paid, we received a truly delicious herbal liqueur. Wonderful hosts in a truly incredible place. These are the kinds of surprises that make it worthwhile. Perfetto!
