10/12/2025: Best food we had in Sicily. We went with the 6 course menu. Loved evey bite. Great vibe, excellent waiter who spoke great English. Really loved the experience.

17/11/2025: The sommelier helped us choose a delicious Sicilian red and white - opened a new bottle for us as we only one glass each. Excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommend it.

28/11/2025: When choosing a restaurant, please note a specific design element: there is a very large and realistic spider figure above the entrance. Those who feel uncomfortable at the sight of arachnids may want to take this into account. Personally, I have decided to choose another place.

30/10/2025: The pizza was good, as it is everywhere in Italy. The carbonara was terrible, and the lasagna was also not recommended.

04/11/2025: The place is nice, but nothing extraordinary. We ordered a classic platter from the photo menu. When it arrived, it was significantly smaller than the one in the photo, and we were told the one in the photo was for 5. So, the menu images are seriously misleading, they're just a sales gimmick. The quantity was really minimal, and the quality wasn't great either. The spritz was more ice than anything else. We paid €17. I won't be back.

20/10/2025: Beautiful venue, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, exquisite food, and exceptional aperitifs. We'll be back again.

13/07/2025: I haven't had such a good pizza in a long time! My group was coming from Palermo for a theater show. The pizza chef was very kind and got our pizza to us as quickly as possible. A wonderful surprise, we'll be back!

10/10/2025: The pasta was microwaved (which was obvious after a trip to the restroom), and so was the caponata. The service was not friendly. Avoid these places.

09/10/2025: This doesn't even deserve one star. Walking into the restroom, you can see the microwave by the open door. I noticed a plate of pasta spinning inside. Upon returning to the table, the microwave beeped, and within a minute, I was served cold, lukewarm pasta. I didn't eat it. I left.

30/08/2025: After years of regular patronage and a cuisine that has proven reliable over time, I returned one August evening with my father [in his eighties] and a friend. Leaving aside the unfriendly greeting [which has become almost routine lately] upon our arrival, in 53 minutes of waiting we weren't even bothered with water, bread for the wait, or even a request for an appetizer. Nothing! As soon as the wait staff arrived, nervous and irritated by my comment that other diners had similarly complained about the service, with the same nervousness and in a manner that was, to say the least, rude [this is far from Osteria Urbana], the waiter loudly asked me to leave, walked away himself, and didn't even deign to offer us a reservation! Only Giuseppe tried to remedy the situation once we left the table, but the damage was done, and too much spoils. I won't be returning. One can understand the stress of a crowded dining room, but in any self-respecting establishment, at least water and an appetizer while waiting, especially when the guest is elderly, seems frankly appropriate. 21/11/2025: Horrible! The cashier doesn't say hello or say hello (to others, yes, but when I say "hi!", she completely ignores me). Either she's prejudiced against foreigners or women. Instead of accepting payment, she was simply discussing personal matters with her friend (even though she could see her perfectly well and look her in the face). The café hasn't been renovated since the 1980s, I think. To be fair, the café is clean, the deli is delicious, and the cappuccino is delicious. But for this kind of attitude, thank you, but I won't be coming again.

24/10/2025: We were at this restaurant tonight. We chose a main course from the menu and were served an extraordinary dish, balanced in flavor and presentation. While we were dining, the chef appeared, apologizing for the mistake (the dish had, he claimed, been mistakenly prepared according to the original recipe) and insisted we try the original dish, which was served very quickly. Needless to say, both dishes were prepared extraordinarily well. There was certainly no serious mistake, but they showed extreme attention to the customers who place their trust in them. The place is tastefully decorated, refined, quiet, and well-attended. The staff is always smiling and perfect. I'd say they deserve more than 10 out of 10.

25/10/2025: We only went to the restaurant for dinner in the evening, but unfortunately the terrace was already closed due to rain... The view from the terrace is absolutely magnificent... We received very friendly and welcoming service and enjoyed our wood-fired pizza with great taste... The restaurant was also very busy... a reservation is recommended.

03/11/2025: Super nice people who create nice atmosphere and good pizza in good prices. Big size pizzas are generally 10-12 EUR. Pizza Diavola was delicious. We did a take-away, and it seems a take-away place, there is only 1-2 small tables outside, rather for waiting for pizza than for sitting and eating.

16/11/2025: Mo' Avast presents itself as a fairly informal place. The atmosphere is almost homey, and the dishes are simple recipes that blend Apulian and Greek cuisine, with results that, in my opinion, aren't entirely satisfying. The appetizer was octopus meatballs on a bed of hummus, and I must say it was excellent. For my first course, I had the Greek moussaka, which left me with nothing; I've definitely had better. For my second course, an off-menu item: cod cooked in milk, onion, and a spice I can't remember. It was basically a soup, and the amount of cod was ridiculous. I'd never order it again. The service is friendly and approachable. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a Sunday lunch in a homey, unpretentious atmosphere.
