14/02/2026: On our road trip through Sicily we spent a day in Palermo and wanted an authentic dinner spot in the evening. We found La Staffa and it was honestly perfekt. We came in a great season with good weather, warm but not too hot like peak summer, and the city wasnt overloaded with tourists (even if we are tourists too). La Staffa feels like a real family restaurant. The food was super tasty and the team was very friendly. They chatted with us a bit but also gave us space to enjoy our dinner, which I really liked. The chef has worked abroad before and now is back home, you can feel the passion. And the limoncello... wow, really a dream. I would come back for sure.

07/02/2026: We arrived at our hotel quite late at night and were worried we wouldn’t find anywhere to eat. Luckily, this lovely restaurant nearby stayed open for us until almost 1 a.m. 🌙 and even prepared special pizzas for takeaway 🍕✨ We were so touched by their kindness and willingness to accommodate us so late in the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming 💛 Their positive energy and warmth immediately made us feel comfortable and cared for. The pizzas were absolutely incredible — truly some of the best we’ve ever had 🤩👌 We were so impressed that we later came back to dine at the restaurant, and once again everything was perfect. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the service were outstanding 🌟 No one has ever taken such good care of us before. They truly made our trip to Sicily unforgettable 🇮🇹❤️ We are so grateful for their warmth and hospitality — it was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you so much for making our trip so special! 🙏✨

11/01/2026: I'd like to say this pizzeria offers the best pizza in Sicily. My family runs restaurants/pizzerias all over New York, so I think I'm a good pizza connoisseur. I also bought a house by the sea, so when I return to Italy I'll eat there again. I'd like to say this shop had the best pizza in Sicily. My family has Italian restaurants/pizzerias all over New York, so I think I'm a good judge of pizza. I also have a house I just bought along the beach, so when I return to Italy I'll be eating there again.

06/03/2026: Burnt chicken, plus they scammed us by saying one of the dishes, which cost €8.50, consisted of 4 pieces, when in reality it was just 0.2, so we paid double. An experience to avoid. Besides, we felt sick after dinner!

30/01/2026: Unfortunately I no longer live in Sicily, I ate my first good pizza, full of toppings, well cooked, tasty and of quality, finally, after 4 years of horrible Northern pizzas, I'm moved 🥲

24/01/2026: The appetizer, pizza, and dessert were good. Reserved at 5:00 PM for 8:30 PM. Arrived and served well. The atmosphere was warm.

25/10/2025: We dined at Donna Floriana during our stay and couldn't have had a better experience. The seafood menu was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and Chef Mazzola, a down-to-earth and approachable man, delighted us with his menu. Our heartfelt congratulations and thanks.

15/09/2025: We dined at the bistro during our stay at the Pollina Resort. What can I say? A wonderful dinner with exquisite food reimagined by the chef, reflecting our beloved Sicily. We chose both the meat and fish menus, and both were excellent. Chef Antonio was impeccable in everything, very kind and explained the dishes to us. The staff was also super friendly and courteous, and the service was excellent. Not to mention the fabulous location, the view was wonderful, the background music was good, the lighting was wonderful, everything was wonderful ❤️

03/11/2025: Super nice people who create nice atmosphere and good pizza in good prices. Big size pizzas are generally 10-12 EUR. Pizza Diavola was delicious. We did a take-away, and it seems a take-away place, there is only 1-2 small tables outside, rather for waiting for pizza than for sitting and eating.

16/03/2026: There was an endless wait to order, even though there weren't many people. The pizza was good, but it was burnt. The only redeeming feature was the courteous and efficient waiters.

14/03/2026: Classic pizza was good. Pistachio pizza was a cool concept and it was tasty for the first few bites but I think it got too oily later on. Portion was a little too much for one pizza per person. Good experience tho
