A true gem of tranquility, positioned in the midst of incredible greenery, it deserves more than one visit. Kindness and courtesy are just the plus of this business where you eat rustic, ignorant (that is, great) and everything is well cooked. This activity is also a mini museum, to go there and return. I highly recommend booking

During a trip to Geraci, encouraged by the reviews, we decided to stop in this restaurant for lunch. Small but welcoming and rustic internal room with several display cases with fossils inside, you can choose between à la carte menu and fixed menu at a cost of 25 euros per person (minimum for 2 people) excluding drinks. We opted for the latter and received a plate each with cured meats, sweet and sour olives, grilled aubergines, fried courgettes in batter etc. (good but the only flaw is that the menu says grilled vegetables but only aubergines arrived and not mixed vegetables, unfortunately I can't eat them, plus the salami was practically all spicy... which I don't like at all so I ate very little of the starter, I would have expected a mix between classic and spicy salami as well as the vegetables) as first courses pappardelle with wild boar ragù (we were not thrilled to be honest) and tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausage (very good), as second mix of meat which consisted of sausage, 2 small pork chops and 2 meatballs (as regards both my husband and I tasted the meatballs and left them simply because the flavor was really strong, we didn't understand if it was due to the meat or the way they were seasoned) with a side of lettuce and tomato, the dessert was really good instead almond and amaretti parfait with caramel pour. I want to make another small note about the very, very fast service... the dishes arrived immediately, you didn't even have time to stop for a moment, smoke a cigarette and resume lunch in peace. However, I would like to say that all in all it was a good lunch apart from a little something that I didn't like and which I have already listed previously, the staff is as kind as the owner. We knew that there was a small museum inside that we didn't see beyond the display cases already mentioned before, we noticed a closed door next to the bathroom so I deduce that it was there, I still recommend it, I attach photos.

Very suggestive place, where we warmed ourselves from the cold and fog with a glass of local wine and a good dinner with typical products. The Madonie cuisine is very good and the owner was very kind. We had an appetizer and a mixed grill for two, plus the house dessert, an exquisite almond and caramel semifreddo. To close the meal, a bitter also from the area. The peculiarity of this place is that, while you eat, you can admire the display cases with the countless fossils and minerals. An experience to be repeated, also to be able to visit the museum room that was closed for dinner at another time.

Trattoria a dir poco sorprendente! Non mi era mai capitato di pranzare in una trattoria - museo di storia naturale e ammirare fossili di uova di dinosauro. Cibo di ottima qualità, a km 0. Servizio eccellente, amichevole e cordiale.

Bontà e semplicità a prezzi onesti. Grande assortimento di carni, ma anche primi caserecci molto saporiti e con porzioni considerevoli. Consigliatissimo, torneremo senz’altro
