14/12/2025: Excellent location in one of the towns of Salento where there is practically nothing...at least a corner with lots of sweets and good service, even if the atmosphere really leaves a lot to be desired...Pasticciotto and Via!!!

26/11/2025: Different prices for tourists. Taranta Night: the afternoon before the party, beers had one price, and by evening, the prices had magically increased. The owner's explanation: it's a party, so I'm raising the prices because, having more customers, I had to hire another bartender, and besides, it's still cheaper than up north. If you don't remember me, I'm the Taranto native who told you that tourists aren't stupid; they pay the first time, and the second time, they don't come back. Don't complain that there's less and less tourism in Salento; you deserve it.

29/01/2026: Behind the city's main square, which acts as a curtain, enveloped in an Ozpetekian atmosphere, lies one of this area's finest restaurants. 'Povero' has a natural elegance, nothing affected, like sirtaki played in a garden at night. The cuisine is as perfect as cashmere on the skin, the flavors rounded and refined. The staff is professional, with a kindness that seemed to have dissipated over time. You can always find something in this restaurant. I think it's one of the most refined and beautiful places in this wonderful land. Angela, the owner, has created a rarefied atmosphere of delicacy and magic. It's an essential stop for anyone thinking of visiting this city!

11/01/2026: Everything was good, except that when I asked if oysters were available, they served them to me and then I paid for them separately, telling me they were only offered at dinner. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered them.

07/10/2025: We were guests at Masseria Cerine for a birthday dinner during our vacation in Salento. Highly recommended for those seeking excellent cuisine, hospitality, and tradition. The helpfulness and kindness of the owner, whom we spoke to over the phone about the reservation, could only be a precursor to such a valuable staff. Thanks for the tiramisu.

17/09/2025: Tradition and flavors...envelop you at this agriturismo. The traditional cuisine invites you to taste dishes your palate never knew existed. Very good, authentic food. 23/07/2025: Negative. (1 star, and it was a gift.) I absolutely do not recommend it unless you want to make a bad impression. I had ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday, and I had promised her a character-themed cake. I'm traveling, and we had planned a party down to the last detail. Moral of the story? I was supposed to pick up the cake as agreed with the bakery (ordered a month in advance). I got there and it was closed. No cake. What a disappointment.

31/03/2025: Welcoming and above all clean place, the waitress served us with great kindness and professionalism. The desserts were beautiful to look at and to eat with a great variety to choose from.

09/02/2026: My friend, your kebab is delicious and you don't even have to wait.

02/02/2026: The guy was fingering his headphones, playing music on his cell phone, and at a certain point he answered the cordless phone. Without ever cleaning them, he continued preparing the kebab. Okay, let's just say that the renowned "kebab shop hygiene" should give it that proper kebab flavor. If it weren't for the fact that mine, overall, was acceptable, the only shame was the smell—and I repeat, not flavor—of raw batter or raw egg, which made it difficult for me to eat it. The guy is actually calm and kind. He must have made other preparations beforehand and contaminated everything a bit.

07/11/2025: I often come to Roberto's for the piadina kebabs, which are truly excellent. As for a good kebab, I'm from Gallipoli, so you can imagine. The quality of the meat is excellent, and there's a wide selection of ingredients to choose from, including a variety of sauces. They also have good and tasty gluten-free options. Roberto is very friendly and kind, and the guy working the grill is also very nice. My only advice: a smile sometimes makes a customer feel better; smiling is free, and it might even make someone's evening better, and it's something appreciated and memorable.

31/08/2025: A real discovery! The Iberian beef specialty is truly unique, a flavor hard to find elsewhere. The staff is super friendly and attentive, especially for those with intolerances: I found gluten-free options for both sandwiches and crepes, and they were delicious! A fast food restaurant that combines quality, attention to detail, and flavor. Highly recommended!!!

09/11/2025: All it took was reading the reviews. I ate a takeout tray of seafood salad with a colleague of mine, who had fried food instead. He was fine, but I wasn't. I had food poisoning and am still very ill. Still undecided whether to report the incident, but I'm thinking about it!

27/12/2025: The food was really nice—full of flavor and well prepared. We truly enjoyed our meal. However, the inside of the restaurant felt a bit dark, and the front area could be cleaner and more organized, which would make a better first impression. With a few improvements to the atmosphere, this place could be even better.

26/08/2025: While strolling through the town streets before dinner, we stumbled upon this truly charming and unique bar. The many positive reviews of their drinks piqued our curiosity, and we can confirm: they're truly worth it! 🍸 Michele, who looked after us, was kind and attentive, as well as very skilled at making cocktails. He also recommended some local gins, making the experience even more enjoyable. A truly memorable place, definitely worth a visit.

24/08/2025: Rude waiters and owner. There are much friendlier places all around that serve happy hour aperitif with food included in their drink price. View is not great.

15/09/2025: Two hours—and I mean two hours—of waiting, and when it finally comes, the insult comes: three out of six items are missing, paid for and forgotten. The food, let's be clear, isn't the problem: good, with a varied and tasty menu. Two hours of waiting can still pass, albeit with difficulty, but discovering that, after so long, what we'd already paid for had been "forgotten" is a far greater affront than the slowness. It's not a matter of distraction, but of disrespect: the customer is not an optional extra to be treated lightly. The sore point, however, isn't limited to the wait or the inefficiency. What makes the experience truly indigestible is the attitude of the ladies at the counter: a lethal cocktail of rudeness, arrogance, and impoliteness that manages to sap even the last vestige of appetite. The feeling isn't of being welcomed, but barely tolerated, as if the customer were an intruder and not the very reason for the business. Bottom line: the food is good, but there's no fried food in the world worth two hours of humiliation and waiting. If patience were edible, I'd leave feeling full.

14/09/2025: A quiet place to eat well without pretensions. We'd say it's medium-low, but the small garden elevates the location a bit. The mixed fried food and antipasti are delicious, and we continued with pucce and pizzas. They have a little bit of everything and cater to everyone, so you're sure to find something here. Recommended for quiet evenings after the beach or before a stroll around Torre Lapillo.

03/01/2026: I'm sorry, it was a terrible evening. Perhaps this was the only time we danced given the limited space in the rooms, and honestly I've never been to a dinner where there wasn't even a countdown to midnight... not to mention the rest. Nice music, but absolutely not suitable for a New Year's Eve dinner. I'm sorry, but it was a terrible experience, not to be repeated.

01/01/2026: Wonderful family Christmas, top-notch cuisine, delicious food and lots of it in a luxurious farmhouse surrounded by greenery. We will definitely be back soon, so keep it up.
