12/09/2025: I arrived at 2:00 PM on a weekday. My impression was that it was a bit late for a full lunch, but when I said I was only ordering a first course due to time constraints, they kindly showed me a seat. My impression was that the place wasn't large, but it was neat and clean. From the outside, it looks like a classic bar, with a very homey feel, but I found it clean and tidy. Even the bathroom was generally tidy; it wasn't neglected, and nothing was missing. The dish, linguine with clams, was plentiful and definitely worth more than the €5 asking price. Overall, a first course, half a beer, and coffee cost €8.50. The service was quick.

01/09/2025: The pasta was super delicious, and so was the pizza. The ambiance was okay, but the prices were really great! We'll be back.

19/06/2025: I come to Santa Cesarea just to eat a good and excellent crêpe like Mrs. Rosy prepares. I recommend you come and try it yourself. Excellent value for money.

04/10/2025: What a lovely local wood fired Pizzeria. Great value and friendly local folk. Hardly a word of English, but that doesn't matter when you are treated as a visitor rather than a tourist!

18/08/2025: It was 6:00 on a Sunday afternoon. I wanted an aperitif. Maybe it was too early or too late, but the fact is that there were no appetizers. They brought us a small plate with six meatballs and a rustica sliced into quarters... too little for a proper aperitif, so I insisted on something else. But what if there was nothing in the display case? So a tall rustico and a roll were all this bar had to offer. On the other hand, the rustici were good.

15/09/2025: Authentic and delicious. The server spoke French and gave us excellent advice. The fish was fresh and well-cooked, all at very reasonable prices.

03/09/2025: I waited a few days so as not to express my opinion too quickly. I entered the place on August 15th for breakfast. I waited in line at a register with a young man, and when my turn came, he sent me to the other register, where my turn came. I waited for the guy with the beard to serve a blonde, to whom he showed kindnesses..., other people who had to pick up ice creams... and then some of his friends... finally, a good 20 minutes after my turn, he said to me: "Wait a minute..." They're here first because they have cake, ice cream, etc., etc. I was with relatives, so we left... The same guy with the beard and without the crowd a few days earlier: huffing and puffing with a very smug attitude, he served me a couple of Lecce coffees and two pasticciotti. In short, we understand that he's annoyed... or maybe he doesn't like foreigners???? I went there because I met the owner's mother, who had recommended the place to me; he's a different story. It's a shame, considering all the work involved, you get feedback like that. Terrible service. The guy with the beard is the only thing I dislike and acts like he's "the boss." Appropriate consideration.

14/11/2025: A bit of a hidden spot, but with a sea view, very good fresh fish dishes, friendly waitress, the only downside being the very annoying flies.... However, I recommend it for the good flavors that you can taste in the dishes! Medium-high prices

Michele is a great restaurateur and knows how to be with people. He makes your evening pass, even with his fantastic laugh, which, more than warms your heart, makes you enjoy the evening carefree. 25/03/2025: Pas de pizza dans cette pizzeria mais tout était délicieux. Nous avons choisi les déclinaisons d antipasti, linguine aux langoustines et spaghettis aux palourdes . Tout en simplicité, ah oui aussi le gâteau de la grand mère en dessert.

07/11/2025: I often come to Roberto's for the piadina kebabs, which are truly excellent. As for a good kebab, I'm from Gallipoli, so you can imagine. The quality of the meat is excellent, and there's a wide selection of ingredients to choose from, including a variety of sauces. They also have good and tasty gluten-free options. Roberto is very friendly and kind, and the guy working the grill is also very nice. My only advice: a smile sometimes makes a customer feel better; smiling is free, and it might even make someone's evening better, and it's something appreciated and memorable.

31/08/2025: A real discovery! The Iberian beef specialty is truly unique, a flavor hard to find elsewhere. The staff is super friendly and attentive, especially for those with intolerances: I found gluten-free options for both sandwiches and crepes, and they were delicious! A fast food restaurant that combines quality, attention to detail, and flavor. Highly recommended!!!

03/10/2025: Bad service, little variety of products, coffee, cappuccino, the entire cafeteria is always cold, horrible.

01/10/2025: On a very quiet day, not necessarily a busy one, the waitress was rude and impatient with my partner. Obviously, in the heart of a tourist city, we have to be open-minded towards them; we're not regulars. Unacceptable attitude.

19/10/2025: Graduation Party on the Edge of Hunger! Ridiculous Portions: The Appetizers Were Just Bits. The experience was embarrassing for the organization and frustrating for all of us guests (there were about 50 of us). The main and unacceptable problem was the portions, which were more like "tastes" than reception portions. Little artistic compositions that should have been the prelude to a banquet, but which turned out to be individual, tiny "wallpapers" of food. I strongly advise against this restaurant for any important occasion. If they can't serve a banquet with dignity, they don't deserve the trust (and the money) for such significant events.

23/08/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance, but I have to say I immediately loved it. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the service is excellent. Plus, there's a small outdoor area where you can enjoy breakfast or something else in complete tranquility and away from the hustle and bustle. I really liked it. Now I return often, even if it's not in my area. 👍
