03/01/2025: So as you can see from the photographs everything is very unhappy, this evening I wanted to try the Margherita pizza from this place attracted by the offer displayed "Margherita and a drink €5", So the pizza dough was very poor, the dough after a minute which they served you the pizza, it seems very stringy and not leavened to the right point, too salty, everything from the dough to the sauce, to the mozzarella which, among other things, gave me the feeling of stringy dough since it didn't string out properly. if it had been mozzarella, there wasn't even a basil leaf to make it more inviting, the service was nil and absent beyond having served me the pizza and not having seen the boy in the room again or even anyone at the cash register, I said the pizza in question I it was served without cutlery and initially without cutting it into segments unless at my request, so sitting at the table I don't see anyone to ask for cutlery, therefore very poor service, if not paying the cover charge involves this treatment I prefer not to return again, although regard the very, very sterile and cold environment..... If this is what €5 margherita and beer means....., I prefer to spend at least double but be considered for both service and being in a warmer environment!!!

09/11/2024: I'm writing this review because I've read a lot of bad things, which aren't true at all! We have been eating stirrup pizza for 30 years and it is always the same... delicious! We are already 3 generations eating pizza alla stirrup. My 9 and 4 year old children love it 😋 It's true, a different pizza than usual but it is precisely for this reason that we like it very much (and I can assure you that we have eaten several) but to say that they are frozen is definitely not!!! As the owner I just read already wrote, on the bracket you can see very well how the pizzas are made at the moment. It is also true that, in high season, you have to wait a little longer because it is very crowded, but for us it was always worth it. Thanks Stefano and all the staff... keep it up!

06/02/2025: I was invited to a birthday of a dear friend in a place in Spongano whose catering was provided by ELITE. The food was all of very poor quality, but worst of all were the paccheri with scampi. Unfortunately, the crustacean was spoiled and had a nauseating smell. The catering manager who was not present on site was immediately notified. When he arrived he found his motivations far-fetched, but in fact... terrible experience and my friend's party ruined!!

30/01/2025: We bought some takeaway food. The potato Pitta was sour, the meatballs were hard like bouncy balls and drowned in a mush that looked like ketchup, sugary sauce, the arancini... I'm not expressing myself out of politeness... not even the dog ate them... €26 wasted. I say to the owner: look at your image reflected in a mirror and then if you feel at peace with yourself, continue your mission.

09/09/2024: Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto (capocollo e mozzarella), un secondo (polipo in pignatta) e un primo (tipo pasta allo scoglio): sia io che il mio compagno siamo stati male appena arrivati a casa. DA EVITARE!!!

31/08/2024: We have frequented this restaurant over the years and were happy to return.. After booking online for 30 August 2024, and driving from Gallipoli, we realize that the place is simply closed. It has probably been abandoned for some time. Sin. It would have been nice to update Google maps and website about this.

17/12/2024: Abbiamo fatto aperitivo in questo locale in coppia, non essendo presente un menù abbiamo ordinato patatine, un po' di fritti da dividere, una birra e un calice di vino. Al momento di pagare siamo rimasti sorpresi dal conto, spendendo 20€ a testa. Il problema è che un piatto di frittini (12 pezzi) costa 10€, mentre i prezzi di patatine e bevande sono in linea con altri locali. Complessivamente niente di che, ma se decidete di andare evitate di prendere i fritti..

18/09/2024: sono venuto per una pizza in compagnia con amici, si prospettava una serata tranquilla, ma ci troviamo i pizzaioli che giocano con una bolla di pasta cruda e le cameriere che pettegolezzano con le suddette. Le pizze portate sono variegate: da una pizza alta con impasto crudo ad un altra sottile quasi carbonizzata. Professionalità poco rilevata. Esperienza consigliata se volete rimanere a bocca asciutta.

11/10/2024: Because obviously we were invisible for the staff at that place,we did not eat or drink anything.And we were lucky,I think!The only reason we stopped there was the view of the sea in front of us! And I strongly emphasize that the reason that nobody from the staff noticed us was not the overcrowded of that place,on the contrary!!!

12/01/2025: On 12/01/25, I and 4 other friends had the terrible idea of ​​ordering 5 pizzas for home delivery from this terrible pizzeria (deliveroo app). Pizzas ordered at 9.20pm with arrival at 10pm, after an hour (around 10.10pm) we called the pizzeria to understand where our order was and the lady replied telling us that our pizzas had left. After half an hour we call back to get information and Alessandro answers saying "the rider had an accident, we are looking for a replacement". 11.30pm still nothing, we call back and again the lady "I no longer have your pizzas, the rider is travelling". At this point, worried about the rider, we ask for information on his health and the lady, confused, replies "we replaced him, normal, he couldn't work", increasing our suspicions that this was an excuse for the delay. At 00:00 we call exhausted and hungry to ask for a return and finally the rider arrives with cold and rubbery pizzas, a missing pizza and the missing drinks. Our doubts about the excuse used were confirmed by the rider who knew nothing about his colleague's alleged tragic accident, agreeing with us that it was a joke. I invite restaurateurs to be more sincere towards customers, it is more correct to warn of the strong turnout in the place rather than disrespect and prevent people from organizing differently. They have demonstrated less credibility than gurus who sell courses promising incredible profits. And we left out a lot of other things because we're tired (finished eating at 1 am). This pizzeria and its managers have been canceled and removed.

12/01/2025: Shame, not professional at all, your service is a lack of respect. I hope to save the evening of many who, like me, want to do something else on a Saturday night besides waiting for pizzas, which arrived 3 hours and 12 minutes late, without a pizza and without drinks. Shame.

15/09/2024: The view is certainly worth it, but that's all! Terrible service starting from the listless, rude and unprofessional maitre d' and the menu was missing several courses. We will not return and will not recommend it to anyone.

25/08/2024: Ho festeggiato ieri sera il mio compleanno. Insieme alla mia famiglia e agli amici ho trascorso una bellissima serata all'aperto, all'insegna dell'ottimo cibo e della gradevolezza del giardino. Impeccabile il servizio e la gentilezza del personale. Consigliatissimo.

19/10/2024: We sat down at this café without looking at the reviews - and had a really yummy breakfast - try their pucce sandwiches (a local type of bread). The service (Stefano) was very friendly and quick. Assuming from the previous reviews that it used to be very bad - they are def improving now!

18/01/2025: Pessima qualità sia del cibo che del beverage (spritz e vino) e prezzi altissimi. 60€ sprecati perché non abbiamo mangiato nulla. Inoltre il locale all’interno non è riscaldato quindi abbiamo anche sofferto il freddo.
