04/11/2025: Competent staff, excellent products

14/09/2025: I've eaten at this pizzeria several times and I can say that the quality of the pizza used to be better. Yesterday, it was terrible; it hadn't risen, and the mozzarella, which was supposed to be buffalo mozzarella, was actually just plain fiordilatte. Instead of accepting criticism and offering a mea culpa, they even have the nerve to make stupid jokes. Not to mention the receipt never arrived. Mistakes can happen to anyone, especially on busy days, but if you've been in this business for decades, you should know how to treat people, and that's why it's not worth returning. Your colleagues in Veglie aren't this rude; in fact, they handle mistakes much better. I'll gladly follow the pizza chef's advice: "Then go eat at your restaurant or somewhere else."

09/02/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance after two years of frequenting the area. It was a great discovery. From the simplest dishes to the most delicious, like the excellent sweet and sour suckling pig, wisely recommended by the very kind lady. I'll definitely be back and recommend it.

07/12/2025: I ordered the pizzas via opplapp, they arrived an hour late and cold, and on top of that, after paying an additional €3, they didn't make it for me.

12/06/2026: Found by chance while driving towards Casarano. Not very visible from the road, but it offers a good indoor location, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The real strength is the quality of the food and flavor. We had a seafood appetizer, a mixed appetizer, horse meat, paparina nfucata, and a fish first course. We left feeling full, accompanied by the good house wine. More than fair price for two people, we'll definitely return on our next vacation in Salento!!!

14/08/2026: A typical trattoria in a small village I love! A simple little garden with just a few tables, but it feels like being in your grandmother's garden. Friendly staff. While waiting for our order, I had seen some nice portions of lasagna and parmigiana pass by, which looked delicious. However, I was very disappointed with what was served. We asked for an appetizer for four and were told it included seasonal vegetables (so much so that they told us they didn't have any as a side dish for the main courses), cheeses, and focaccia. We were amazed to see a small fruit platter arrive, with the "smell" of vegetables, two mini squares of primo sale cheese, and a single small square, about 1x1 cm, of focaccia, for a whopping €12.00. Typically, for that price in Salento, you'd overindulge on the appetizer. I won't even mention the second courses: a small plate with 3 pieces of dry, tough, and tasteless sausage, cooked in a pan with nothing else for 10.00. Also, don't expect to be able to eat the classic fried food because... they don't make any!!!

13/08/2026: I read all the reviews and didn't like everything you said. I had a great time. I ate authentic, all homemade food, and the prices are good, but you just have to go in and read the menu. Long live Puglia.

08/04/2026: Very kind staff, highly recommended coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker, or at least I'm not the picky type, but their coffee is delicious, so much so that I asked where they buy it from. 😀 It's excellent coffee in every way, and for someone who knows nothing about it, that says it all! Delicious even without sugar, a real treat! I recommend it. The friendliness, helpfulness, and hospitality are also top notch, so I definitely give it 5 stars!

15/02/2026: We discovered this pastry shop by chance online. We entered and were greeted by a kind, friendly, and very sweet lady, who is 88 years old, and her 90-year-old husband, who is still working with the dough... excellent, artisanal, and well-filled desserts, because taste is not just pleasing to the eye... a place full of all kinds of sweets, with a lot of Salento tradition... I ordered two mixed trays of pastries and made a great impression at home in Brindisi... I highly recommend this pastry shop and the very sweet owners... 14/02/2026: I haven't lived in Lecce for 24 years, and I don't know how I've never seen this pastry shop. Maybe because from the outside it looks more like a bar. I don't know. In any case, just walking past yesterday, I was struck by a wonderful aroma. It reminded me of the sweets my grandfather used to make, as he had a bakery back then. And indeed, here you'll find a wonderful couple who have been baking typical Salento sweets for about 60 years, prepared in the workshop right behind the sales area. I love these places that maintain a vintage feel, the pastry shop of yesteryear with traditional desserts that I've found delicious. So, whether you're visiting from out of town or even Lecce residents like me, come on over!

07/09/2025: A wonderful experience. The breakfast room was small, very welcoming, and beautifully decorated. The pasticciotto was delicious and delicate.

05/09/2025: A great place for breakfast. The produce is always fresh, but it's still stressful to check every now and then to make sure the croissants aren't burnt, for example. The owner's wife is rather grim and makes you feel unwelcome as a guest. Nevertheless, we go there several times during our vacation because the quality is impressive.

20/10/2025: This small pastry shop in Gallipoli's historic center deserves a special mention for its excellent products at extremely competitive prices. You'll find both traditional products and standard pastries; we tried the pasticciotti and found them delicious!

12/07/2026: We booked a picnic, but due to bad weather, it was held on the veranda, so our review can't be complete because the food wasn't brought to the outdoor tables in baskets. It was more of an aperitif. We booked a vegetarian and a regular menu, but when they brought it to our table together, it wasn't clear which was mine and which was my partner's. The portions are generous for the price; the non-alcoholic cocktail was very good, while the alcoholic one was served in a plastic glass, not a cocktail glass, so the portion was smaller. The cocktail was free with the coupon, perhaps for that reason? The food was excellent, except for the burrata, which was unsalted. The picnic menu could be improved, however. Perhaps savory pies, cheeses with compotes... in short, a menu designed for picnics. A very nice and welcoming location.
