La Dispensa dei Raccomandati was a very pleasant surprise. Trusting the reviews and looking for a good seafood restaurant (especially a good fritto misto), we chose this restaurant. Our choice was absolutely worth it: very good, high-quality food, cooked and served with care in a charming and welcoming atmosphere. In particular, the fritto misto with peeled shrimp was absolutely superb, without taking anything away from the appetizers, first courses, and second courses, which were all excellent. The very kind and helpful staff guided us and helped us with our choices, resulting in a very pleasant evening. The relatively limited seating allowed the restaurant to prioritize quality while keeping prices absolutely reasonable. A word of advice: given the limited seating, reservations are recommended...

Sea bass 9.8 It's been a long time since I've eaten well in a holiday restaurant.

Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment. The food was mediocre at best, and we were greeted by a strong odor of bleach when we arrived. Some portion sizes are small - the baked potato side was just a single sliced potato (for 5 Eur). Furthermore, the 'frittura mista' second course was underwhelming, containing only calamari rings and four shrimps. The fried anchovy starter was almost larger than this main course despite being the same price. Overall, it is acceptable but mediocre food at very high prices, paired with service that needs improvement.

Wonderful restaraunt. Food delicious. Waiters friendly and attentive. Seafood vibe inside with Maritime artefacts adorning areas. Suggest booking for weekends

A lovely little restaurant in the center of Nardò, with friendly and welcoming service, made even more enjoyable by the owner's conviviality. Simple, good food; my only flaw was that the fried fish was unbreaded. Overall, a good restaurant.

A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Nardò with a menu primarily of seafood. Very friendly and professional service. A good wine list.

I'll definitely be back! I would have loved to try practically the entire menu.
