Finally, orecchiette...!
For the second time on vacation in Salento, we managed to eat orecchiette. La Pentola degli Gnomi is a classic traditional restaurant where you can eat like in the old days—good. Excellent value for money.

FANTASTIC! We discovered this restaurant 7 years ago and have been returning every vacation since. The food is simply divine! Every dish is worth trying. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommended for trying traditional cuisine without being a tourist trap!

We ate different dishes on two evenings...all excellent and well-made.
The orecchiette with tuna, dates, capers, turnip greens, and crumbled tarallo were truly delicious.
Apulian bombette, suckling pig cooked in wine, baked potatoes, meatballs with octopus...fabulous dishes.
Everything was truly delicious.

Very satisfied with our experience, the menu perfectly aligned while maintaining, in my opinion, a higher quality. Quiet location just off the main road.
Very friendly staff, always attentive to the customers without being intrusive in any way.
Attentive and accommodating, even for those, like me, with food allergies.
In my opinion, highly recommended for both fish and meat dishes.
