14/06/2026: We ordered a tray of pasticciotti on our way back from vacation, but they didn't live up to our expectations, and the price was higher than average (we paid the same price for the small ones here as the large ones at the bar where we had breakfast, which were even better).

10/06/2026: I'm delighted to share this review. Whenever I go on vacation, I always stop at this pastry shop ever since I had the pleasure of discovering it. What can I say? I see pastry shops boasting about their pasticciotto with award plaques, and naturally, out of curiosity, I was drawn to try it. There's no comparison to HELENA's... HELENA makes pasticciotti that are truly out of this world. The quality is top-notch and the flavor is unmatched! Everything is delicious, and the staff is courteous and friendly. 02/06/2026: I had lunch at Corte dei Simonari on April 19th. I was impressed by the location, which perfectly reflects our Salento cuisine. The owner and staff were very kind and knowledgeable. Their traditional cuisine has nothing to do with the shoddy quality we often find in trattorias today, but is instead the epitome of Salento art, respect for food, and the celebration of simple flavors. It stems from the peasant tradition of creating nutritious meals with few ingredients, often found in reclaimed land or locally sourced. Corte dei Simonari's cuisine is recognized as a form of sustainable fine dining, beloved for its authenticity and homey flavor. Bravo! 👏❤️

01/06/2026: A magical place and an unforgettable experience. The owner, who is also the chef, is very welcoming and offers refined local cuisine, prepared with passion and authenticity. I've been there in both summer and winter. In winter, the dishes simmer in the fireplace, in terracotta pots, which gives them an exceptional flavor and an old-fashioned charm. I rediscovered all the flavors of my childhood, those of my mother and my family. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to enjoy a truly authentic gastronomic experience in the Salento region.

26/12/2025: I'm sorry to have to share my negative and disappointing experience. On December 22nd, I went to the store and placed an order for a deli for Christmas Eve, clearly specifying the pickup date. When I went to pick it up, I discovered that the order wasn't available because they had marked the wrong date. I understand that there's a lot of confusion during the Christmas period, but that's precisely why we expect greater attention, especially when it's such an important date. The result was that I was left without what I ordered, resulting in considerable inconvenience. It's a shame because the quality of the products could be good, but the organization and order management definitely need improvement.

10/05/2026: I went there last night with some friends for the second time, it's one of our favorite places. The staff, in my opinion, is the best part: they're very kind, friendly, and ready to make you have a great evening. I love them!! The food is delicious, and I highly recommend the spicy chocolate cake, it's a real treat.

07/04/2026: My partner and I chose this place. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing place for Easter and Easter Monday. Searching on Google Maps, we found this farmhouse where we had a wonderful time ❤️ The welcome we received made us feel at ease right away. The owner, Mr. Tammaso, is a wonderful and kind person, along with his entire team. We slept and ate wonderfully 🫶❤️ All local products ❤️ Beautiful areas to visit nearby ❤️🫶 We will gladly return. It's a wonderful place 🫶 We just left and already miss it... Thank you for everything ❤️ Then I found and bought some body oils and digestives made by my son-in-law, which we tried right away. They're excellent 🫶❤️

The staff was friendly, attentive, and always available, without ever being intrusive. Wait times were short, and everything was handled with great professionalism. The ambiance is another strong point (5/5): a refined, elegant, and relaxing place, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The atmosphere truly contributes to a pleasant experience. 06/02/2026: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Corigliano d'Otranto. The all-you-can-eat menu is excellent, with excellent value and dishes that are both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The staff is attentive to detail, friendly, and very professional. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening with friends. I will definitely be back.
