08/11/2025: A family-run place. Their nephew, Alessio, took me there. For someone like me, who's from Naples, the pizza was excellent. Fair prices, and the owner was very kind and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

04/08/2025: This wasn't what I expected. After my initial visit, I expected a perfect pizza. The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven. The atmosphere was pleasant. We ordered takeout. The dishes were prepared quickly, and the service was very friendly. After tasting the first pizza (Capricciosa), it turned out to have a distinct... fishy flavor that practically dominated everything else. The pizza was certainly fresh, and the seafood ingredients were probably added by accident. The Bralesaola, on the other hand, was dominated by the sharp flavor of the cheese, which was of good quality. But the bresaola wasn't noticeable. They certainly don't serve bad pizza there, but expectations were much higher. And the Capricciosa certainly shouldn't have a strong fishy aftertaste. In any case, if you're hungry, feel free to come in and try it. Don't expect fireworks, though.

21/08/2025: I stumbled upon Bar New Tandem in Cavallino almost by chance while looking for some sweets for my mother-in-law, who was taking them with her to Naples. It was around 9:00-9:30 in the morning, so a fairly normal time for breakfast, but upon entering, I immediately noticed that the display case, despite being very large, was almost empty: just a few pasticciottos and a few other sweets. I must admit that the initial impression wasn't the best, especially considering the place is quite well-known and well-reviewed online. Luckily, we managed to grab the last pasticciottos available, which we tried right away and took away. And I must say, the product itself is truly delicious: the crumbly pastry, the perfectly sweet cream, and a flavor that reveals the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal craftsmanship. This is precisely why it's even more disappointing not to have found a larger display case, because it's natural to think how unfortunate it would be to limit yourself to trying just a couple of desserts when the entire lineup is probably truly worth it. The prices are fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful, which definitely adds to the overall experience. All in all, I'd say the place is worth a visit, but perhaps it's best to go at a slightly later time than I did, when the sweets are fully stocked. If you happen to be passing through Cavallino, it's definitely worth stopping by and sampling their products, starting with the pasticciotto, which remains a guaranteed success.

12/10/2025: This morning we had the croissants, which were excellent. We're back now for the small pastries. The staff is very welcoming and kind.

20/08/2025: Found on Google on the way back from the pediatrician we ate an excellent artisanal ice cream in a modern location and with kind and knowledgeable staff we will definitely be back

04/05/2025: It's not just any place... even if it only stops us for lunch. It's a real EXPIRIENCE. Today I tasted (house entrée) the best freshly baked brioche bread in the world with French butter flavored with herbs. A homemade potato crochettone, served with mortadella and cream cheese (excellent!) and a really delicious yellow pumpkin flan as an appetizer, and the agnolotti freshly made by Agnese (the owner and chef of Villa De Donatis) with hand-rolled pastry and filled with parmesan cream (exceptional!!). All seasoned with excellent Salento wine, a breathtaking view and a familiar environment full of real life. Agnese SUPER!! Absolutely highly recommended ❤️

02/11/2025: My boyfriend and I decided to try this place because we'd heard good things about it, and now we understand why! The staff is always smiling, attentive, and kind—from grabbing my jacket to asking at the right moments if everything was to our liking. The service is clean, and they're truly sweet and kind! The atmosphere is very relaxing, especially if you sit by the window and see the city outside. The food is really good; we tried everything, and the quality is the first thing you notice. The shrimp and raw fish had the scent of the sea, and even the vegetarian sushi was delicious. Truly excellent. It's certainly not just any place, and the sushi à la carte is priced fairly for what you get. The difference in quality compared to other places is definitely noticeable! We prefer to spend a little more (but again, always within the range of what's offered) and eat good, fresh sushi!

12/10/2025: Definitely the most wholesome, delicious pizza around! The pizza dough is supposed to rest for 72 hours. This way, nothing sits heavily on the stomach, in my experience.

28/08/2025: The staff is completely rude and inadequate. The wait is long and they don't give their estimates. Before ordering the pizza, I ask how long it will take; they tell me it'll be ready in 30 minutes. After 45 minutes, there's no sign of the pizza. When I ask, they tell me they'll put it in the oven "right away"...the pizza arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes. In addition to making you wait, they insist you occupy specific positions. The numbers are too advanced; they shout the name of the person who ordered from the window. Amid all this, if you complain about the service and the delay, they reply, "You're on vacation, I'm working." They clearly don't understand that I pay and they take the money.

26/11/2025: The waiter Antonio was super kind and gave me some good recommendations. Thank you so much. The veal fillet was exquisite and the tiramisu was also delicious.

23/11/2025: I ate at Ristorante Alex in Lecce and had a truly wonderful time. The food is delicious, with attention to every detail and fresh ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The dining room is welcoming and elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!
