24/10/2025: Most expensive drinks and food for the quality they provide. Apperol @ 8 EUR + 3 EUR copperta is a ripoff.. Tagliatelle at 28 EUR also on the high side. Quality is marginal. Wouldn't recommend

19/10/2025: Delicious food, friendly service, and good wine. They serve large glasses of wine. Cozy patio with a heater (great for autumn, so we could still sit outside).

06/11/2025: Excellent food, I'm sorry to say, but as a pizzeria, everything needs to be revisited, from the dough to the cooking. I would have preferred not to order it rather than leave it. I'd like to point out to the pizza chef that it was cooked at biscuit temperature on the bottom and raw on top. NB: It's a beautiful place, the staff are wonderful at serving and always smiling, the food is truly good. I hope this message comes across in a constructive and not destructive way. Congratulations, I highly recommend it.

26/10/2025: Nice place, but I think I ate one of the worst pizzas of my life, despite the incredibly long wait (over an hour and a half for a buffalo mozzarella). Very sour tomato sauce, mediocre dough, and flavorless buffalo mozzarella. I had to resort to Gaviscon after eating it. A real shame. First and last time.

20/11/2025: Sammie to go, my hubbies favorite, the Italian grinder, loaded with various meats and cheeses, tomatoes, all the goodies. Fair price. I'll go back again. And again!

02/11/2025: I'm giving it a total of 4 because the reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, and kitchen staff are wonderful! Kind, helpful, and hardworking, they welcome you with courtesy and so much professionalism and kindness! And they know how to do their job very well! Unlike the owners, starting with Mr. Alosi Sr., his wife, and daughter, who, alas, are snobbish and don't even notice you. If you say hello, they barely return your greeting, or better yet, they just walk by (heads up and silent), not even a smile! But back to the point: a former motel converted into a hotel... I stayed there for 8 days (I left the property yesterday, November 1st). We had to change the first room because it hadn't been cleaned. They assigned me another room that was supposed to be better, but instead, no comment! (I won't post photos for privacy reasons, but I have everything documented). And this is where the skill and professionalism of the staff comes into play: the front desk intervenes promptly, they try to make you feel comfortable and not leave. Because believe me, I had already paid for my stay as soon as I arrived at the hotel, but I had to leave. Leave for the rooms, nothing else. Lastly, the food is good, the breakfast is decent, and the location is strategic, even though the gas station is just a few meters from the hotel entrance. And if you can sleep on a spring mattress that was provided to the post-war barracks, if you can store your clothes in a room without a closet, if you don't sleep on the parking lot side, where the sounds of the car wrecking yard start behind you as early as 3-4 a.m., then okay... I repeat, the guys, the kitchen staff, the waiters, and the reception are the best! Our heartfelt thanks to them and best wishes for success in life; you are unique and made our stay in Lecce memorable! 🫶

20/09/2025: There was only one waitress (zooming around!) so it was half an hour before ordering, which seemed longer when hungry! Food was fairly good but dollops of marmite with beef is seriously lazy cheffing and not very nice! Seemed a little bit of Emperor’s new clothes to be honest - would not recommend in a country where food is taken seriously… wines were great

19/09/2025: An exceptional little restaurant in the center of Lecce, on a secluded street. The atmosphere and food are truly superb.

21/08/2025: I stumbled upon Bar New Tandem in Cavallino almost by chance while looking for some sweets for my mother-in-law, who was taking them with her to Naples. It was around 9:00-9:30 in the morning, so a fairly normal time for breakfast, but upon entering, I immediately noticed that the display case, despite being very large, was almost empty: just a few pasticciottos and a few other sweets. I must admit that the initial impression wasn't the best, especially considering the place is quite well-known and well-reviewed online. Luckily, we managed to grab the last pasticciottos available, which we tried right away and took away. And I must say, the product itself is truly delicious: the crumbly pastry, the perfectly sweet cream, and a flavor that reveals the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal craftsmanship. This is precisely why it's even more disappointing not to have found a larger display case, because it's natural to think how unfortunate it would be to limit yourself to trying just a couple of desserts when the entire lineup is probably truly worth it. The prices are fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful, which definitely adds to the overall experience. All in all, I'd say the place is worth a visit, but perhaps it's best to go at a slightly later time than I did, when the sweets are fully stocked. If you happen to be passing through Cavallino, it's definitely worth stopping by and sampling their products, starting with the pasticciotto, which remains a guaranteed success.

25/08/2025: I'd like to sincerely thank the owners and all the staff at Agriturismo Santa Chiara. They were always kind and helpful, ready to help us or check in. They offered us a beautiful room overlooking the pool. The included breakfast was delicious, with a nice mix of sweet and savory. Sometimes the lady cooks for guests, and I must say she's truly excellent. I absolutely recommend staying there for dinner, as it was a delicious and warm experience. The agriturismo is large and welcoming, perfect for taking photos or reading a book while relaxing in the sun by the pool. I found a bit of my hometown in them, as they are family-like, kind, and welcoming—just what I was looking for in southern Italy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place.

30/11/2025: Grandma Rosa moves me every time, because I feel like a child again when I accompanied Dad Nicola to the fishmonger's. I remember a kind of childlike happiness. Her joke was always the same: 'Only what you see'? This phrase was a sort of sesame seed! The fishmonger would go to the back and immediately display a crate with the best catch of the night. I smiled every time, happy and incredulous at the same time. I still wonder today what this statement could have evoked in the eyes of the owner?! I'm sitting here today at the Nonna Rosa restaurant in Muro Leccese. And I always ask myself the same thing. Why does this place bring back memories? Why? Perhaps it's Claudia's cheerful smile, reassuring and friendly? Or the simplicity of the dishes, anything but banal? The pervasive calm that prepares the palate? 26/11/2025: Super clean environment, very kind and knowledgeable staff, tasty and carefully prepared dishes, very fair prices. I recommend Nonna Rosa for anyone looking for a five-star culinary experience.

23/10/2025: Simply fantastic. Starting at 3:00 p.m., the restaurants in Otranto go into siesta. The small bistro Il Maestrale remains open. It's a great atmosphere. A beautiful view of the small marina. The food is delicious. The service is very attentive and friendly. A definite recommendation.

09/09/2025: The beach is accessible to four-legged friends. The low rating was due to lunch: two pasta dishes weighing under 50g each, and two fried dishes with water, two spritzes, for €115. But not even in a Michelin-starred restaurant would I have left feeling as hungry as I did here! Never again!!!

10/08/2025: My partner and I stopped by one evening for pizza and were charmed by the homemade pizza, the variety, the options for customization, the prices, and the owners 😄 Having different pizza preferences, we ordered a half-and-half, which turned out to be delicious and very generous with cheese (if you're not a fan, feel free to ask for less)! We also bought some absolutely sensational ham and cheese croccettas; we slightly regretted not having also bought the Nutella ones 😂 The prices were more than reasonable (€5.50 for the margherita, €2 for the croccetta). Everything is handmade by this lovely couple, yet their prices are lower than the frozen tourist food near the beaches 🥹 We spoke with the owner and he was lovely, with a wonderful attitude and a kind heart <3 We'll definitely come back!
