14/12/2025: Two stars for the courtesy and for fixing a small inconvenience. Otherwise, it's a typical, rustic place, but poorly maintained. The food is mediocre, with plentiful but poor quality dishes. I wouldn't return.
11/10/2025: We went for lunch today for the first time, we are on holiday, we had a great time, very very nice clean environment, the food was really good, the price I would say excellent, we will definitely go back before leaving

27/12/2025: WOW. Incredible pizza by the slice! Amazing dough, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, light and super digestible. Top ingredients, original combinations, and super generous slices. A pizza like this is unforgettable: every bite is a flavor explosion. Superb quality, unlike any other. Worth a round of applause... and we'll be back right away! 🍕❤️

22/01/2026: My boyfriend and I went to this historic creperie in Lecce. Our expectations were quite high, but I can confidently say I ate real crackers with a thin drizzle of Nutella, which the owner claimed was supposed to make the crepe soft and tasty. It wasn't good to eat and literally crumbled! A real crepe is something else entirely! Perhaps "the butter" would have added a different touch.
15/01/2026: The best crepe I've ever eaten, it's definitely worth it. I'd travel miles just to go back and eat it🫠 what a discovery ❤️ By the way, the owner alone deserves a 1000-star review, so kind and friendly!

All our guests were truly satisfied. A heartfelt thank you to Antonio, who looked after us with professionalism and patience without ever being intrusive. He was an exceptional host! <3

We chose San Giovanni delle Formiche for our wedding, and everything was perfect! From the magical location, to the super friendly staff, always ready to accommodate any request, and not to mention the sublime food.
It was a wonderful day to remember, and I have to thank Tallarini and the entire staff with all my heart!

19/10/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from Gallipoli, a rustic establishment offering simple yet refined dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. The antipasto was rich and delicious, and the first courses were excellent. We opted for the meat course, which was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were very satisfied.
13/09/2025: We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate.
We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip.
The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer.
If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!
