21/09/2025: Yesterday was my first time at this place. I have to say I had a great time. I felt very relaxed. The place is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. The food is really good. I had the grilled chicken breast. The staff was very friendly. I absolutely recommend this fantastic place.

06/06/2026: I sourced the best "pieces" of lower Salento, from organic farms, including all-organic vegetables. And what can I say about their top-notch natural wines? This year's Amaranth wine is highly recommended!

05/06/2026: there are so many things to say . for starters Marta the owner is the kindest soul you will meet. she has a farm and produces own wines and olive oil. the food is fresh and delightfully executed. the weird thing is Everytime I come here..and I've only been twice I run into people from NY. we must love good food made with love , joy and fresh ingredients. 18/01/2026: We're regulars and always come back. The pinsa is excellent, made with quality ingredients and a light dough. The garden is beautifully kept and adds to the atmosphere, especially on beautiful summer evenings. The staff is always friendly and fun, especially Irene, who makes you feel at home. We definitely recommend this pinseria!

26/12/2025: The ice cream is a little more expensive than the prices in the area, but it's good and the ingredients used are of excellent quality.

06/04/2026: The security guard at the entrance, a woman with short gray hair, was extremely rude to me, even yelling at me for placing my very small dog in the cart. She raised her voice in front of everyone in the room, an attitude I found humiliating, humiliating, and completely disproportionate to the situation. I should point out that I hadn't seen any immediately obvious indication that there were special dog carts, so there was no intention on my part to violate any rules or regulations of the mall. Precisely because the entire facility is advertised as pet-friendly, I never expected to be treated in such a manner, rather than simply receiving a polite and civilized complaint. I should also add that the carts are normally left outside, often exposed to the rain and in less than impeccable hygienic conditions. For this reason, I sincerely believe that all this fuss has been made over a very small dog, handled without any intention of causing disturbance or creating problems... I truly believe that incidents of this kind deserve attention because the attitude of the staff should always be characterised by education, moderation and respect towards customers, even when there is the need to recall a rule.

09/05/2026: I had a pizza with sausages and chips, the chips looked like stones and the sausages were raw and another thing, the staff was very unfriendly

29/06/2026: I found myself having dinner at this pizzeria by chance during a walk in Lecce. Extremely high prices, a lactose-free Margherita costs €10... "Crunchy" and "Contemporary" options make no sense, the crispy is simply a pizza as thin as a piada and the contemporary for which they ask for an extra is a very simple and common pizza that you would eat anywhere, I don't see the reason for the extra. A bottle of water costs €3. It is located in an alley next to other places with no particular view, just walls. The menu prices absolutely need to be reviewed, as for all the places nearby, excessive prices as if we were in the center of Florence in front of the Uffizi 😅.

21/07/2026: I just went to Ula Cafe after moving from Boston a year ago. I used to go to this cafe a good amount, and I never knew them for good service, but today was atrocious. I walked in and said "good morning," and I did not get a response except to ask for my order. Then, when I did order, I said thank you and got nothing from the person taking my order. Then, when I got my coffee, I said thank you, and the person giving me the coffee literally scoffed at me. I'm from the South and lived in Boston for a while. I get it; the culture is not for people to be warm here. But this was another level of just rudeness, and it was 9 in the morning. I'm not sure what happened while I've been gone, but I would skip Ula and go somewhere else. There are better places in the city to get coffee from where they will treat you slightly better.

18/07/2026: What can I say? We dined outdoors in a wonderful, typical Salento atmosphere. Excellent food, generous portions, and a fair price, with very kind and helpful waiters. All in all, a wonderful evening.

03/07/2026: I'm writing this review to save others from the same disappointment. The food was terrible. An insult to Italian cuisine. The pasta dishes weren't fresh. They tasted like ready-made meals without any seasoning. Desserts were served frozen.

14/06/2026: We ordered a tray of pasticciotti on our way back from vacation, but they didn't live up to our expectations, and the price was higher than average (we paid the same price for the small ones here as the large ones at the bar where we had breakfast, which were even better).

10/06/2026: I'm delighted to share this review. Whenever I go on vacation, I always stop at this pastry shop ever since I had the pleasure of discovering it. What can I say? I see pastry shops boasting about their pasticciotto with award plaques, and naturally, out of curiosity, I was drawn to try it. There's no comparison to HELENA's... HELENA makes pasticciotti that are truly out of this world. The quality is top-notch and the flavor is unmatched! Everything is delicious, and the staff is courteous and friendly. An absolute must-see if you're in Salento. 😋😋👏👏❣️🔝

09/10/2025: Extraordinary food - eggplant almost like Nonna Maria's, polpettone al sugo very very tasty, dessert and coffee I had melanzane al crudo, fave e cicorie, orecchiette con le cime di rapa, polpo fritto, polpettone al sugo red wine, rosé and dessert - 2 people

The lunch was truly excellent, with flavorful dishes, carefully prepared with quality ingredients, appreciated by all the guests. Every request was met with kindness and precision, making us feel truly pampered throughout the experience. Furthermore, the setting is stunning, surrounded by greenery, with a beautifully manicured lawn and a lovely lake, creating a relaxing yet elegant atmosphere. Having lunch with this view made the day even more special. A place we absolutely recommend and will gladly return to!
