27/06/2025: Coastal tower certainly built for defense against the Saracens. The marina in this coastal area is sandy, clean sea with free beaches alternating with lidos, excellent for bathing.

25/06/2025: Great beach with fine sand with no rocks. Public use beach. Free parking with easy walk to beach. You can go right or left from ruin and have great beach either way. Plastic is not bad as other reports say. Thailand and Asia beaches are way more polluted. Just do some good and take a bag full of garbage with you when you leave !

06/09/2025: A grill restaurant with an open butcher's counter. Top-quality ingredients; the Black Angus steak and meatballs in tomato sauce were succulent. They also offer a pizzeria and takeout service with a wide-ranging menu. Attentive and professional staff. Highly recommended.

05/09/2025: Clean and welcoming place... As soon as we entered, a young man welcomed us and, seeing my poodle arrive, he already went out of his way to give my dog ​​water without me saying anything. This place already deserves 5 stars... We had some delicious cuts of meat, you can also find the butcher shop on display inside. I had a very good pizza, the pistachio and melon liqueurs on the house were excellent... Mattia, the young man who welcomed us, was full of attention to the entire service from start to finish... To conclude, he gave balloons to my children, a small gesture but for my children it was super. Thanks again Mattia, number one...

16/08/2025: Unfortunately, it was disappointing for us. We arrived for lunch for two at 1:45 PM, the restaurant half empty—I should say, the city was completely empty (August). First, we checked that the kitchen closed at 3:00 PM... that said, they told us service wasn't available. For a plate of "ciceri e trie" for €16, service should be more than adequate. Oh well, no complaints, let's go somewhere else!

15/06/2025: JD’s is always a great hung out. The entire bar is a great layout and with very unique decorations. Sweet fenced in patio. Plenty of seating. Great food items from the appetizers to the main course meals. You definitely get plenty of food. You will spend a little more than bars in the area but you get your money’s worth.

The bruschetta and house appetizer are a must, then you are torn between choosing between an excellent mixed roast or a homemade cordon bleu! Tried the fried food and what can I say? Excellent Domenico and the lady assisted by their son are a guarantee of friendliness and professionalism! The chefs in the kitchen deserve praise!

My only suggestion (I hope it's implemented) would be to see the wording "Wood-fired oven" written on both the sign and the product labels, but Mr. Piero is absorbed in his work and less in communication. Perhaps he takes this type of baking for granted, which is a tradition here, but requires a great deal of dedication and dedication from those who make it and shouldn't be underestimated. However, I think it's worth highlighting. Everyone in the area knows about it, but there are also tourists, and for them, it could help them better understand and appreciate the effort that goes into the baked goods.

21/08/2025: We stayed at the Lido Max apartments at the end of July and had a wonderful time. The apartment had all the comforts, the staff were very helpful, and the location was excellent, with a restaurant, bar, self-service restaurant, and a stunning sea view. A place we will definitely return to. The Tettamanzi family

20/07/2025: Visited with my partner and had a great evening! The food was so tasty - amazing pasta dishes!! We also found the service to be very good. The staff were super friendly, very attentive and we were supplied with plenty of limoncello to finish off a good evening! Would definitely recommend to those visiting Lecce. We had a fabulous time.

06/08/2025: I spent the first week of August on a half-board basis. The modern hotel has an internal car park, 2 km from the centre, with an outdoor swimming pool, solarium and a brand new, well-equipped gym. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, from the girls at reception who are always smiling and good at giving useful advice on beaches and places to get around. The waiters are extremely professional, the modern rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and varies from savory to sweet. Dinner offered a choice of 2 first courses, 2 second courses and side dishes with dessert, with typical local dishes and you could also choose pizza. Compliments to the chef and the pizza chef. What can I say? A wonderful hotel, first place among all those I have stayed in to date....top
