16/10/2025: Bakery offering quality bread, friselline, and biscuits, all expertly made in the old-fashioned way, and you can taste it! My only suggestion (I hope it's implemented) would be to see the words "Wood-fired oven" written on both the sign and the product labels: but Mr. Piero is absorbed in his work and less in communication. Perhaps he takes this type of baking for granted, which is a tradition here, but requires a great deal of effort and dedication from those who make it and shouldn't be underestimated. However, I think it's worth HIGHLIGHTING: everyone in the area knows about it, but there are also tourists and those just passing through, and this could help them better understand and appreciate the effort put into producing their baked goods.

26/08/2025: You can't judge the atmosphere; it's just a store. The bread and pizza are excellent. The biscuits are also delicious.

05/05/2026: We chose this restaurant because it's part of the AIC network. The dinner was satisfying. The atmosphere was relaxed, even though we were in a corner. Just a note about the bathroom: a restaurant like this needs a better one.

02/05/2026: Excellent place in every way; if I could, I would have given it more than 5 stars. We're here for a weekend, and we came two nights in a row. The first night we had some delicious, light, mega pizzas. Tonight we opted for a mussel soup, as anticipated, and for our first course we had paccheri with clams and monkfish, and for dessert, the spumone. Everything was excellent; the first course was superb. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The place is beautiful and refined. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

28/05/2026: On the first evening of our Salento walk, we dined at Trattoria Concepita: a great satisfaction after walking almost 25 km. The dishes were delicious and well-prepared, and the atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. Definitely worth a try!

08/08/2026: A truly awful and completely disappointing experience. During dinner, we found a live cockroach under our table and were forced to kill it ourselves. This is unacceptable for any restaurant serving food. The environment also didn't seem clean or well-maintained, and even more worryingly, the refrigerator where the meat is displayed was dirty and unsanitary. The experience was further worsened by the meat: it was of truly poor quality, tough, and practically inedible. Considering the high price, we expected much better quality. The quality-price ratio was terrible. Unfortunately, it was a negative experience in several respects, and we absolutely cannot recommend this place.

08/08/2026: Horrible experience. I'd be curious to know if the people who left positive comments actually came here. An experience I would never repeat: The hygiene was terrible; I've never seen such a dirty place, especially considering the (horrible) open kitchen. Flies on the meat counter, live cockroaches under the tables, the refrigerator where the meat is displayed was filthy with caked blood. The quality of the meat was terrible; it had a nauseating odor, and it was so soaked in wine that it stank. I don't expect you to justify the poor hygiene; I don't think it's just a day's worth of dirt. And to top it off, we paid a lot for the poor quality of the food. I don't recommend it!!

22/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Villa De Donatis, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Everything was meticulously planned, from the elegant atmosphere to the impeccable service. The meal was simply spectacular: every dish was delicious, prepared with great care and quality. You could clearly taste the passion and care behind every course, and let's not even mention the cake, which was truly sublime: not only beautiful to look at, but also incredibly delicious! 27/10/2025: This rotisserie is famous for its rustica with tomato, mozzarella, and béchamel sauce. They also make pizza by the slice, arancini, panzerotti, and focaccia with various flavors (such as gorgonzola and artichoke, fresh chicory, etc.), but my favorite is the freshly fried canapés! I highly recommend them!

02/11/2025: I'm a longtime customer. I saw this place open when it was just a tiny room, menus were 5 euros, and there were barely any seats. However, I can't help but be nostalgic and a little disappointed to see how it is now. I'm happy and proud of how they've grown over the years, and I recommend them to all my friends, even now that I no longer live in Maglie. The only problem is that the quality-price ratio isn't as good as it once was. I understand that prices are rising, but the piadina I ordered had very little kebab... and even the fries aren't the same portions as before. They used to have plenty of everything: kebab, sauces, fries, condiments, now they're just the bare minimum. Overall, the quantity of everything has gone down, and the prices have gone up. That welcoming homey feel has also been lost. Even the servers no longer smile or joke with the customers like they used to; they always seem stressed and pissed off. I miss that more human and intimate connection. In short, the place has become too bourgeois and commercialized for my tastes... despite that, I'm still loyal and I think it's one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. Oh, ps. I'm sure the fries and nuggets are from Eurospin because I've seen the bags, so especially since they cost less than average, you could go a bit more generous. pps. I recommend the potato rosti, they're delicious.
