24/08/2026: We had a great time. Excellent food, a typical Salento restaurant, attentive staff, and reasonable prices. A great find.

23/08/2026: I'm just saying that if there's a problem with a dish you've just tasted, the least you can do is apologize and offer a solution. This certainly doesn't mean you're not the first to point it out. In fact, it would be even more of a sign to change something or let us know when someone orders it. We'd been here before, but with people who knew the owner, and apparently that's the only way to be treated politely. There wouldn't have been any problems, because making mistakes is human, but if they'd behaved professionally instead of charging the full price for a dish that was completely left over because it was inedible, without even offering an alternative, which we would have gladly accepted and paid for.

16/10/2025: Bakery offering quality bread, friselline, and biscuits, all expertly made in the old-fashioned way, and you can taste it! My only suggestion (I hope it's implemented) would be to see the words "Wood-fired oven" written on both the sign and the product labels: but Mr. Piero is absorbed in his work and less in communication. Perhaps he takes this type of baking for granted, which is a tradition here, but requires a great deal of effort and dedication from those who make it and shouldn't be underestimated. However, I think it's worth HIGHLIGHTING: everyone in the area knows about it, but there are also tourists and those just passing through, and this could help them better understand and appreciate the effort put into producing their baked goods.

26/08/2025: You can't judge the atmosphere; it's just a store. The bread and pizza are excellent. The biscuits are also delicious.

07/01/2026: A very nice pub with a Valentino Rossi theme, where in addition to organizing evenings, they also allow you to watch Serie A matches.

13/08/2026: As a Salento native, this is one of the best pasticciotti I've ever eaten. Always available and very friendly staff. It's a must-try before heading back up north!

19/08/2026: Two beers, an appetizer, pizza, and a puccia, excellent value. Service isn't particularly fast, but that's acceptable considering the dining area is across the street from the kitchen. The dining area is definitely quieter than the outdoor tables, being streetside.

27/07/2026: If you love mussels, this is the place to be: incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The stracciata is indescribable, creamy, and authentic, while the freselle are prepared with the highest-quality ingredients and a truly perfect balance of flavors. The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and attentive to every detail, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. You can sense their passion for cooking and their attention to detail in selecting the finest ingredients. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: We've had the best pizzas here twice! There's a good selection without feeling overwhelming, and the prices are more than fair. Actually, the owner should be encouraged to raise them. The pizzas are ready very quickly and absolutely delicious!

30/04/2026: We often go to Bughi for coffee and have always had a great time: the place has an original decor, perfect for those who love rock and alternative vibes, the coffee is excellent, and the staff is really kind and helpful. I wish there were more bars like this! 😉

08/07/2026: We returned to Puglia after 6/7 years, even if we changed area we wanted to return to this restaurant and I must say that it did not disappoint us this time either, fresh and good fish, if we return to Puglia we will definitely stop at Scaccia pensieri

08/06/2026: I celebrated my graduation at Scacciapensieri (since I lived in Lecce and Monteroni is very close by and parking is easier). The service was impeccable...for about twenty guests, it was commendable. Their thin-crust pizzas and various appetizers were excellent...Great value. Try it and you'll be back.

25/08/2025: I'd like to sincerely thank the owners and all the staff at Agriturismo Santa Chiara. They were always kind and helpful, ready to help us or check in. They offered us a beautiful room overlooking the pool. The included breakfast was delicious, with a nice mix of sweet and savory. Sometimes the lady cooks for guests, and I must say she's truly excellent. I absolutely recommend staying there for dinner, as it was a delicious and warm experience. The agriturismo is large and welcoming, perfect for taking photos or reading a book while relaxing in the sun by the pool. I found a bit of my hometown in them, as they are family-like, kind, and welcoming—just what I was looking for in southern Italy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place.

31/12/2025: Beautiful, well-stocked café with excellent pastries and savory items, and very friendly staff. It's worth a visit and a return visit.

23/12/2025: Excellent bar/cafeteria on the town's main square. Very generous opening hours and the interior decor is truly superb (old stone walls, subtle lighting, etc.). The pastries are also very good, made in the owner's workshop located just 30 meters away. There's real skill involved. The entire team is friendly, except for one waitress who is frankly very unpleasant, which is a shame.

25/08/2026: Simple and traditional atmosphere, as well as the cuisine which leads to delicious and abundant dishes at a very honest price

21/08/2026: The appetizer was truly meager and disappointing, not only for the price but also compared to other places, where the appetizers offer more varied traditional specialties. For the €18 menu item, you only get portions of small vegetables (eggplant, peppers, and cabbage) and a small plate of caciocavallo cheese accompanied by a cured meat. I would have expected more. The place is still nice, and the staff is friendly.

11/08/2026: We were here for a wedding. The location is simply enchanting and the food excellent. The wedding planning was a bit lacking: we were outside (in 38 degrees Celsius and during the hottest part of the day) for the ceremony, welcome drink, and appetizers. Even inside, the air conditioning was too low and we were gasping for air.

09/08/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! The restaurant is magnificent, with an elegant and very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is lovely, generous, smiling, and incredibly attentive. You immediately feel welcome, and the experience is as enjoyable as the setting. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful time! ❤️ I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back! 😊
