It's a shame that the service is a bit slow, especially after finishing eating and upon insistent invitations to clear the table, plates and glasses remained on the table. The service continues to be a little slow. Update dated 01/06/24, the service has improved a lot. Fast and helpful waiters. So 5 stars deserved.

11/12/2024: Wonderful! Templar-theme decor surrounded by the beautiful stone of Lecce. Seating inside and outside. We visited in November so you will see in the pictures that it was just us in the restaurant when they opened for dinner. Staff was very welcoming. Their English was minimal but the menu was in English and with some pointing and keywords, our waiter got our needs met. I ordered the ravioli (Chianche del muratore) which was excellent. It was just the right amount for me but I am a small eater so you would have room for another course with this. Our waiter suggested an good wine for us from Puglia (photo included) at a very good price point. We highly recommend this restaurant!

26/06/2024: I don't usually write reviews, but I hope it can help to avoid surprises for others: I went to lunch yesterday with the family, the wait was a bit long, we arrived when only two tables were occupied, the waiter was extremely awkward, he didn't say hello or upon arrival nor when we left. We took 2 lasagne for my children, a broad bean and chicory and I took a dish of the day that wasn't on the menu, namely pasta with sauce and burratina. Let me start by saying that we noticed the lack of a person who was expert in management and who then arrived during service and with the place full, but to see a waiter who goes around the tables without commands and who then returned to us 3 TIMES to ask for the fourth dish (fava beans and chicory) because it had been forgotten is a sign, but the thing that amazed me the most was the price of 70 euros for four. In addition to the first 2 bottled beers and two half liters of water. The pasta dish much vaunted as a specialty was a very normal plate of Barilla mezze penne with tomato (NOT SAUCE) and a small burratina worth 16 euros. 11 euros for other dishes, 6 euros for beers and the rest for water and cover charge. I understand tourism, I understand wanting to make money but since I make my own pasta I can't MAKE PROFIT this way. 8 euros per first course were more than enough and the off-menu prices should be a must. Always ask to avoid surprises

09/08/2024: Un bel locale, il migliore provato in tutta la vacanza in Salento. Il piatto più buono provato è stata la spigola al sale, veramente eccellente. Buono il carpaccio di manzo, magari non proprio abbondante, discreta la pasta con le vongole e i contorni. Comunque sicuramente da consigliare, prezzi in linea con i locali della zona, che a mio avviso sono tendenzialmente alti, ma per lo meno qui la qualità c'è. Cameriera Top
