15/12/2025: A truly terrible experience. The restaurant gave off a general feeling of uncleanliness and subpar food. The owner's attitude made matters worse: she was rude and unprofessional. Even when we made a polite comment, she responded in an annoyed and arrogant manner, making the customer feel out of place. A negative experience in every way. I will not return, nor do I recommend this restaurant to anyone.

10/01/2026: A restaurant in a villa surrounded by greenery, perfect for summer dinners and receptions. The atmosphere is charming, and the interior is also very charming. Salento dishes, seafood and meat specialties...all top-quality. The meat is excellent. Delicious pizza, light dough, and quality ingredients. The fried foods and appetizers are delicious to start. The desserts are delicious and beautifully presented. I've always had dinner there, but I'll definitely be back for lunch to enjoy the excellent first courses as well.

If you like peace and quiet and have a car, it's the ideal place to spend a pleasant stay, whether you are a couple (like us) or with children and/or pets, it's very secure. 16/10/2025: Bakery offering quality bread, friselline, and biscuits, all expertly made in the old-fashioned way, and you can taste it! My only suggestion (I hope it's implemented) would be to see the words "Wood-fired oven" written on both the sign and the product labels: but Mr. Piero is absorbed in his work and less in communication. Perhaps he takes this type of baking for granted, which is a tradition here, but requires a great deal of effort and dedication from those who make it and shouldn't be underestimated. However, I think it's worth HIGHLIGHTING: everyone in the area knows about it, but there are also tourists and those just passing through, and this could help them better understand and appreciate the effort put into producing their baked goods.

21/02/2026: We went two nights in a row (first with 6, then with 3) and had a wonderful time! Fresh fish, cooked to perfection! The wait staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The chef comes through the dining room and pampers his guests like they used to! We'll definitely be back in the warmer months to try the outdoor seating! Highly recommended!

They don't offer table service; pizzas must be ordered and picked up, and drinks must be purchased and picked up at the bar next door. It's worth it because the prices are very fair and the pizzas are truly excellent.

05/03/2026: I haven't visited the entire winery, but I know some of their wines and really enjoyed them. I saw a wide selection of bottled and packaged wines, but you can also buy bulk wine at great prices.

The tasteful decor creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. But the real added value is its owner. Not only is she incredibly friendly, she's also a true master of the art of mixology and hospitality. I didn't just order a drink from the menu: I asked her for a recommendation, and she guided me through a selection of flavors, offering a passionate and knowledgeable description. The result? A perfect cocktail, balanced and made with the highest-quality ingredients. A five-star experience that I recommend to anyone passing through! I'll be back very soon!

25/10/2025: We had a wonderful time visiting Barlento multiple times during our recent visit to Morciano di Leuca. Enrica and her staff were very welcoming and the service, cappuccinos, and pasticciotti were amazing. Beautiful location for watching the sunset and next to a park the kids could play in. I can not recommend this bar enough for people wanting a great spot to share a drink and chat. Thanks Enrica and everyone there for the great times! We will be back!
