11/12/2025: Great family experience. We went with friends (other families) and had a great time. Excellent service and helpful staff, great location, truly a beautiful place. Well done...I would recommend it.

28/07/2025: Terrible place to eat. The owner is truly arrogant and presumptuous. He mocks customers and says untrue things. The food was truly awful and the price was high. I ordered bombette and he brought me a stewed meat that was spicy and extremely salty, practically inedible. I strongly advise against it.

23/10/2025: Simply fantastic. Starting at 3:00 p.m., the restaurants in Otranto go into siesta. The small bistro Il Maestrale remains open. It's a great atmosphere. A beautiful view of the small marina. The food is delicious. The service is very attentive and friendly. A definite recommendation.

16/10/2025: Bakery offering quality bread, friselline, and biscuits, all expertly made in the old-fashioned way, and you can taste it! My only suggestion (I hope it's implemented) would be to see the words "Wood-fired oven" written on both the sign and the product labels: but Mr. Piero is absorbed in his work and less in communication. Perhaps he takes this type of baking for granted, which is a tradition here, but requires a great deal of effort and dedication from those who make it and shouldn't be underestimated. However, I think it's worth HIGHLIGHTING: everyone in the area knows about it, but there are also tourists and those just passing through, and this could help them better understand and appreciate the effort put into producing their baked goods.

26/08/2025: You can't judge the atmosphere; it's just a store. The bread and pizza are excellent. The biscuits are also delicious.

12/10/2025: If you want to try authentic Salento cuisine, this is the place to be. Everything was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

06/10/2025: The restaurant is simply decorated and the staff is very helpful. I like traditional cuisine from the south of Italy and we had the following; Crostino with Scante ricotta, sautéed tomato and cacioricotta Crostino with burrata Cantabrian anchovies and lemon zest Eggplant parmigiana Homemade tagliatelle with pesto, crispy capocollo and cherry tomatoes Homemade ricciatelle with 14 fresh tomatoes, pecorino and basil and drank excellent homemade red wine Li Veli Susumaniello everything was very good, a real gastronomic delight.. (I copied the names of the dishes from their web menu)

05/12/2025: A must-visit if you're in Salento. The atmosphere is informal, the service is good, but the food is excellent, whether it's raw, fried, or grilled. Great prices, I come back every year. It's even worth the 40-minute drive just for Capitan Morgan.

31/10/2025: How can it be that plastic tableware is still being used these days? And in a restaurant, no less! We were appalled and thought it was a joke when the waiter brought us a bottle of water and two plastic cups. Then came the cutlery, also plastic, wrapped in plastic film 😳 And then the food, guess what? On plastic plates? What's going on? Too lazy to wash them? And all this with a direct view of the sea. One can only hope that none of it ends up in the ocean. The food was alright, but it would have been much nicer served on porcelain plates. The waiters could have smiled a bit more, and walking around the restaurant with their arms crossed doesn't exactly make a good impression.

03/06/2025: A very good restaurant adjoining the Callistos Hotel & Spa in Tricase, Puglia. This restaurant allows hotel guests to dine in a lounge setting with remarkable service. The dishes are refined and generous. You won't be disappointed by the variety of dishes offered. The wine list is also extensive.

Very beautiful place located on the sea, warm and welcoming location perhaps a little spartan, but delicious and abundant dishes, extensive menu, excellent presentation of the dishes and quality, competent and courteous staff, very fast service. 21/09/2025: Yesterday was my first time at this place. I have to say I had a great time. I felt very relaxed. The place is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. The food is really good. I had the grilled chicken breast. The staff was very friendly. I absolutely recommend this fantastic place.

29/08/2025: We've been to Barrio several times during our vacation here in Puglia. The atmosphere is lovely in the summer because it's outdoors in a lovely park, where it's pleasantly cool in the evenings. There's seating both at tables and on lounge chairs. The food is excellent, with a varied menu, including cocktails. We had a great time! The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were average. Thanks from us Sicilians, see you soon!

13/10/2025: September 2025, excellent ingredients and excellent dough, excellent value. They don't offer table service; pizzas must be ordered and picked up, and drinks must be purchased and picked up at the bar next door. It's worth it because the prices are very fair and the pizzas are truly excellent.

12/11/2025: Excellent meat. Very friendly service. We arrived without a table and they did their best to find us one. In the end, we enjoyed a delicious, high-quality burger at a high table outside. Definitely recommended. Thanks, guys!

03/11/2025: As soon as it arrived, the smell of the grill made me realize I was about to eat something special. The burger was simply spectacular: soft but lightly toasted bread, juicy and perfectly cooked meat, with that touch of smoky flavor that makes all the difference. The sauces were balanced, not overpowering the ingredients but enhancing them, and every bite was an explosion of flavor. Even the crispy, golden fries completed the experience impeccably. You can taste the attention to detail and the passion of those who prepare it: nothing is left to chance. A burger this good makes you want to come back the next day... and maybe even the same day! 🍔🔥
