30/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at L'Aura restaurant in Cocumola and was truly impressed by every aspect of the experience. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening with friends. The staff demonstrates impeccable professionalism, always attentive and courteous without ever being intrusive. A great strength of the restaurant is the excellent quality of the ingredients used: extremely fresh and authentic ingredients that emerge simply yet with great flavor in every dish. The cleanliness of the premises is also impeccable, a factor that helps make guests feel completely at ease. Considering the quality offered, the prices are more than fair, offering truly remarkable value. I highly recommend L'Aura to anyone who wants to enjoy local cuisine in a charming and professional setting. An experience worth repeating!

12/09/2025: We called to reserve a table for an aperitif with a view of the church, and as soon as we arrived, we were greeted and seated. We fell in love with this place and the hospitality the staff gave us. Serena and Ilaria accompanied us from aperitif to dinner, and through conversation and laughter, they showed great professionalism in praising each dish they served. The chef was also brilliant and charming, creating a menu with AMAZING pairings! It goes without saying that the location and the view make a difference, but if all of this is accompanied by professionalism and friendliness, you'll definitely be happy to return! 16/09/2025: They offer you a 50% discount on The Fork, then send you an email saying your reservation has been canceled (as has happened to others). The King's pizza may be good, but it certainly doesn't make you want to eat it this way.

25/09/2025: The restaurant makes a solid impression at first glance, but the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. While the staff was polite and friendly, they weren't particularly attentive overall. You sometimes had to wait minutes before making eye contact with the waiter, which made the experience a bit tedious. I would simply like a bit more presence and attention here. The appetizer, octopus, was beautifully presented, as can be seen in the pictures, and promised a special taste experience. Unfortunately, the octopus was extremely tough and therefore barely edible – a huge disappointment, especially for such an attractively presented dish. The main course was also disappointing. My burger was very weak in flavor. A single lettuce leaf, an egg – and that was essentially it. Sauce? None. They only served a BBQ sauce on the side, which didn't match the burger at all and detracted from the overall flavor rather than complementing it. My wife's pasta was okay, but only partially satisfactory for €20. For this price, we would have expected significantly more – both in terms of taste and overall composition. The bottom line: A lovely ambiance and appealing presentation of the dishes – but unfortunately, the food was poor and the service still had room for improvement. Overall, it wasn't an experience we'd want to repeat.

20/09/2025: We had an excellent coffee there ☕️, the person who served us was very friendly and cheerful... This café located on the square is very pretty, you have to go see the interior, very pretty decor. For a pleasant moment...

19/09/2025: A small café on the piazza. The food was delicious. Based on the friendly waitress' recommendation, we had fresh octopus in tomato sauce. It was incredibly tasty. The homemade lasagna and pinsa are also highly recommended. 👍🏼

22/09/2025: Starting with the kindness of those who welcomed us, everything for me was 5 stars and above! The food, the people, the location, the welcome—everything was amazing! We ate wonderfully, chatted with the wonderful people who were working, and even though it was the last day of the season, so some dishes were no longer available, we still found some phenomenal food. I'm sorry to read biased reviews from those who perhaps have expectations that aren't at all in keeping with the concept of this place. If it hadn't been the last day, I would definitely have returned during my vacation 🥰

25/09/2025: We went eating in Le Casine sull'Asso a few days ago and it was perfect! The food was delicious, the host very friendly, allergies were no problem, for every thing he had a solution and the dog is the star. One of the best evenings I ever had!

02/09/2025: We stumbled upon this agriturismo one evening in June, nestled in the Salento countryside. The food was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly, and the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive to both the elderly and children, as well as those with allergies. We returned in August and had a great time, despite being a large group. Excellent value for money.
