A truly unique and evocative place opposite the Aragonese Castle. We stumbled upon it by chance and were immediately greeted warmly and given excellent advice by the staff, especially Chiara. Courteous, kind, and professional. Out of five people, four of us opted for the €25 fixed menu, while one person opted for the à la carte menu. The fixed menu includes a first course, second course, and side dish. The spaghetti with clams was exquisite, and the plate was lavish with mussels, beautifully cooked. The portion of fried fish and chips was truly exquisite. All the staff were extremely friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you want to spend a fair amount and enjoy quality food in a truly evocative place.

We stumbled upon this place by chance, escaping the chaos and queues of the historic center. We had a wonderful meal: gratinated mussels, seafood salad, tuna steak, and fried squid—all excellent. The dessert (cheesecake) was also delicious, and the bill wasn't too high. €95 for two people with a bottle of wine. Highly recommended if you want to spend a relaxing evening away from the noise of the city center and enjoy good seafood!

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and the experience was truly excellent. The seafood dishes were fresh and beautifully presented. The seafront location makes the atmosphere even more charming and allows you to enjoy a splendid view throughout the evening. Another strong point is undoubtedly the staff: friendly, attentive, and always available. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone passing through Otranto!

A place not to be missed! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and family-friendly: you immediately feel at ease, serene, and relaxed. The staff is friendly, respectful, and attentive without being intrusive. It's the kind of quiet, peaceful place where you go to truly unwind, just the way I like it. The dishes are delicious, but the oysters were a real discovery: I've never tasted so good. All this was accompanied by an excellent wine that perfectly rounded out the meal. A top lunch in every way. Highly recommended!

25/08/2025: I'd like to sincerely thank the owners and all the staff at Agriturismo Santa Chiara. They were always kind and helpful, ready to help us or check in. They offered us a beautiful room overlooking the pool. The included breakfast was delicious, with a nice mix of sweet and savory. Sometimes the lady cooks for guests, and I must say she's truly excellent. I absolutely recommend staying there for dinner, as it was a delicious and warm experience. The agriturismo is large and welcoming, perfect for taking photos or reading a book while relaxing in the sun by the pool. I found a bit of my hometown in them, as they are family-like, kind, and welcoming—just what I was looking for in southern Italy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place.

23/08/2025: The rooms lack a little modernity but they are very very very clean. For everything else, nothing to say, it's perfect. The team is very friendly and helpful. If you like peace and quiet and have a car, it's the ideal place to spend a pleasant stay, whether you are a couple (like us) or with children and/or pets, it's very secure. Thank you to the staff for their kindness
