I went there with my husband for lunch today. Nice place, simple and welcoming. The owner is very kind and friendly. The food is good. The homemade cured meats are excellent. Recommended.

Feeling at home Mr. Claudio and his wife welcomed us like family: it was late, they were closing, and they allowed us to have lunch anyway, ensuring a valuable and unusual service. Tasty dishes, with quality ingredients and excellent preparation. And above all, the kindness and hospitality of the owners, very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

[NOVEMBER 2025 REVIEWS]: Today we returned to "La bottega della carne" in Squinzano, where we ate a spectacular grilled meat! The meat was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth, and the chicken thigh was cooked to perfection, slightly crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. We also came here on Saturday, where Dad and I tried the set menu, and we were very satisfied that day too! I recommend all my friends who live in Puglia (or are coming to Puglia for a vacation) to stop by this place. I guarantee you'll leave satisfied, both with the food and the owner's friendliness! [SEPTEMBER 2021 REVIEW]: We stumbled upon it by chance, and despite our initial skepticism, we ate deliciously! Everything was cooked to perfection, with the perfect portions! The owners are two wonderful, very friendly people! We'll definitely be back!!!

A grill restaurant offering meat and traditional dishes. The atmosphere and cuisine are reminiscent of family meals. The dishes are simple but flavorful. The cured meats are homemade. We had the fixed menu for €25, including drinks. The mixed pittule (a type of pork shoulder) was tasty, the mixed cold cuts were decent, the lasagna was good, and the porchetta was truly delicious. The service was excellent, both friendly and quick. The decor is a bit too basic, but in keeping with the restaurant's character.

I was there recently and had a truly delightful experience. 🍽️ Endless selection: The meat counter is truly spectacular. There's a huge selection, from classic cuts to more unusual selections. The quality is excellent, and the cooking was done exactly as requested. ​Side dishes (The real must-have): Don't make the mistake of ordering just the meat! The potatoes are out of this world: whether baked with the skin (very tasty) or the classic fried ones, they're the perfect pairing with the main course. Highly recommended. ​The atmosphere: The place is modern and dynamic. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy when it's full, so don't expect a whispered candlelit dinner, but rather a lively and convivial atmosphere. ​In summary: ​The food is excellent. Despite the background buzz due to the place's popularity, the flavor of the meat makes up for it. Absolutely fair value for the quality of the product offered. ​I'll definitely be back! ​A little tip: If you prefer a little more tranquility, I recommend booking on weekdays or during off-peak hours, but the meat is definitely worth it!
