Live music, two excellent ladies, the waiter very friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. The only flaw was the desserts we ordered, which weren't to our liking. I mentioned it, and the owner kindly made up for it by offering us a bottle of sparkling wine. We'd been there a long time ago and will definitely be back again.
09/03/2026: Terrible aperitif consisting only of mini sandwiches (various types of bread, very hard, dry, and old), 1 very normal panzerotti and 1 potato triangle per person (the latter 2 were decent), 1 good Aperol Spritz, 1 draft beer €0.20 total: €28.00 without olives, peanuts, and chips, the cost of an evening at a pizzeria. NB: NO MENU, NO PRICE LIST, NO DISPLAYED COSTS... SPEECHLESS

22/02/2026: Despite having a reservation, we were seated an hour late, and when we ordered, they told us they were out of burgers. Furthermore, the quality of the ingredients was very poor.
31/12/2025: I generally like Medieval, but I went back for the last time after a year's absence and had an unpleasant surprise: the meat isn't the same anymore :( The meat schnitzel used to be a real piece of meat... now it's a store-bought thing made of meat assembled in layers. Come on guys, you can't get ahead by lowering the quality of the products!!
The extra star is for the service and the aesthetics of the place.
PS: Tartare lovers: don't order it! They make it with ground beef, not hand-minced meat.

16/10/2025: Unbeatable location, in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, right next to the Marchesale Arch, the gateway to the historic center and the viewpoints overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
The service was unbeatable, fast and helpful.
We had a spritz, an Aperol, and a cheese board with prosciutto and salami, accompanied by arugula leaves and dressed with honey.

08/02/2026: It wasn't a pleasant experience at all, both because of the wait for the pizza and the "low" tolerance for children. Despite the wait for the children's dishes, they were very long and served well after the adult pizzas. We definitely won't be returning. A €10.00 pizza seems a bit pricey, too...
With paper napkins at the table.

28/02/2026: After a side lunch at a restaurant in Bari, a group of friends and I all went to this bar for coffee and dessert. The coffee is well known, and the chocolates and desserts in general are exquisite. However, as excellent as every product is, the prices are a bit high. I give it five stars because the staff, and especially the young woman who served us, is truly helpful and cheerful. This, unfortunately, is not something you'll find in the shops of Bari.

09/03/2026: A very pleasant bakery in the old town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You can try delicious local bread here, including one made with olive oil and olives. Everything is fresh and very tasty. It's definitely worth a visit when walking around Altamura.

17/01/2026: A simple pizzeria that satisfies your craving for a very thin crust pizza, along with some equally simple and tasty appetizers. It's quiet in the winter, but bustling in the summer.
