31/12/2025: I generally like Medieval, but I went back for the last time after a year's absence and had an unpleasant surprise: the meat isn't the same anymore :( The meat schnitzel used to be a real piece of meat... now it's a store-bought thing made of meat assembled in layers. Come on guys, you can't get ahead by lowering the quality of the products!!
The extra star is for the service and the aesthetics of the place.
PS: Tartare lovers: don't order it! They make it with ground beef, not hand-minced meat.
04/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience this evening at this restaurant, chosen solely for the smell emanating from outside.
Highly recommended.

03/02/2026: The seafood was average. The grilled octopus just tasted like... the grill. The fried seafood tasted like... frying. Honestly, they overprice themselves a bit for this standard of food.
08/12/2025: A small trattoria in the heart of the historic center. The tables are a bit uncomfortable, too close together with little room to move around. The food is decent, with good ingredients and fresh local fish. The appetizers were poor, even though they served homemade dishes, and you could taste it! Quick service with little wait (reservations are required on weekends, and waits are much longer). Prices are average for the area (tourist-oriented), and therefore higher.

27/12/2025: The staff does not understand english. At all. The food was good but not amazing. No broth refill but the ingredients were good. They give you only one tablet to order which can be a problem if you are multiple people.

I lived in China for 5 years. I know the flavors and the service too. It's nice that they have private rooms and even the option of hotpot!

16/10/2025: Unbeatable location, in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, right next to the Marchesale Arch, the gateway to the historic center and the viewpoints overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
The service was unbeatable, fast and helpful.
We had a spritz, an Aperol, and a cheese board with prosciutto and salami, accompanied by arugula leaves and dressed with honey.

From the cooking to the flavor, everything was delicious.
The wine recommended by the staff was truly excellent.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat quality meat at fair prices in a truly relaxing atmosphere.
28/08/2025: We ate outside since it was summer. The meat was very good and well cooked! (We had classic, spicy, and smoked bombette, sausage, baked potatoes, and marri.)
The prices were a little high, but for a tourist destination, they're fair.

07/02/2026: My favorite place when I'm in the area, a welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. The waiter was excellent. The fish is delicious, and the pizza (which I had on the second night) is also excellent. See you next time.
04/01/2026: Excellent table service but if the pizza chef adds an unsolicited ingredient the pizza has to be remade, don't remove what wasn't requested and put it back in the oven to serve it hot!!!
