Great food, right in the center!

As a coffee roaster, I’m always thrilled to find a place that roasts their coffee beautifully, thinking about the flavour profile and country of origin. At Caffe Cognetti I found relatively lightly roasted coffee offering a house blend, an decaf option and a single origin from Congo. I opted for the house blend which was lovely, there was no bitterness, no singed aftertaste just a delicious, smooth, full bodied flavour. Accompanied by a brioche style croissant, it was excellent.

It was all “tutti bene”: the specialty coffees from the V60 were just as impressive as the Antico Caffè Napoletano or the Cold Brew. The service is consistently attentive and very friendly. The furnishings are tasteful and extremely successful - exactly fitting for a high-quality coffee house. If coffee in Bari, then here. We'd love to come back.
