10/08/2025: Easy to reach from outside the city (using the ring road and exiting at junction 10), and relatively easy to reach from the rest of the city if you have transportation, as it's well connected to major roads, with parking right in front. They serve breakfast and lunch to the employees of the numerous offices in the building above: knowing how many there usually are, they prepare the daily specials in advance, serving 4-5 people. Closed in the evenings, with staff moving to Birrbante. I think it's a good idea to make a reservation, as there are a lot of non-regulars going. Never eaten there, but I know what one of them wrote.

16/05/2025: We celebrated my daughter's first birthday with a party for 40 people, including several children aged 1 to 5. Mrs. Antonella gave me a precious hand in setting up the room, which was perfect for welcoming children. The venue also provides an inflatable, which was much appreciated by the children and made the party even more fun. Mr. Nicola impeccably managed a rich and varied buffet, with options for vegetarians too. The environment is spacious, clean and welcoming, the food is quality and the staff is kind and knowledgeable. Good quality/price ratio. The venue is located in an easily accessible area and with convenient parking. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place suitable for parties with children and also well-kept for adults.

09/05/2025: An excellent Apulian panzerotto, with all kinds of fillings. Top is the one with the «brasciola» (meat roll with ragù).

04/03/2025: A lovely spot in the center of Grumo Appula, a bar overlooking a charming little square. The surprise is that in the evening they serve panzerotti filled with meat, turnips, various cured meats, and of course the classic tomato and mozzarella ones. The service is impeccable and fast, but most importantly, they bring them out of the kitchen one at a time, allowing customers to eat them piping hot. Prices are reasonable, so they offer excellent value. We'll definitely be returning again and again.

24/11/2025: Very well organised and well-equipped venue, there are many gaming tables, to participate you need a membership card which costs €20 and lasts until August, the minimum buy in is €20 with the possibility of rebuy, they often organise tournaments and many people participate, recommended for lovers of the genre

09/09/2025: Excellent Italian coffee and delicious homemade brioches, all freshly prepared. It was located right outside the Bari hostel we stayed at in early September 2025. Prices were average.

30/08/2025: A truly disappointing experience. I've never been charged for table service for children, even for one who didn't consume anything. I find a €1 per person service charge unacceptable, especially for the little ones. The pastry shop isn't up to par: there are much better suppliers in Bari with whom we could collaborate. The organization also leaves much to be desired: there were endless waits at the register despite several people behind the counter, all focused solely on making coffee or serving the tables outside. The same problem arose at the table, with long waits and little attention to the customer. The staff needs to be reassessed, because overall the service is absolutely not up to par with the location and the name of the place. A real shame.

11/09/2025: Lovely meal in Cisternino. A hidden gem of a place but well worth finding. We shared an antipasti as a starter and for main courses we had Vitello e Polpette (meatballs) and Coniglio Cacciatora (rabbit) with a mixed salad. The food was delicious (I think the rabbit dish was possibly the best meal I had in two weeks of travelling through Italy) and complemented by a lovely house red wine. Service and prices were all excellent - would definitely recommend this place.

So many beautiful and packed places on a Tuesday in early September, we opted for this restaurant a bit out of necessity... and instead, everything was delicious at a fair price! Just one piece of advice: order the mixed appetizers and then decide for yourself, because they are plentiful and delicious!

07/11/2025: Il Biancospino is a true gem in the heart of Altamura. It's more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that celebrates elegance, creativity, and, of course, the excellence of the ingredients, especially the seafood. The service is impeccable, attentive yet discreet, and contributes to a pleasant experience. The cuisine is top-notch. The chef demonstrates creativity and respect for the freshness of the ingredients. I recommend the raw seafood, a must-try for seafood lovers.

16/08/2025: My partner and I had lunch yesterday at Biancospino, the best seafood restaurant in Altamura in our opinion. Despite it being a busy holiday, the owner took the time to welcome us during lunch and ensure everything was up to expectations. We had a seafood appetizer (excellent), an excellent first course, a glass of rosé, and a good dessert. Everything was excellent, with prices in line with the market. We'll be back soon! Thank you so much, also for the discount on the bill, which is rare these days.

29/07/2025: We visited this pizzeria a few nights ago, unfortunately with very disappointing expectations. The place could use some more attention: the atmosphere wasn't particularly clean, and there was an unpleasant odor that made the wait unpleasant. The service took very long, and even more unfortunate was that they forgot one of the pizzas we ordered, which arrived only after we reported the mix-up. The pizzas were very small, and unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients was extremely poor—so much so that it left a bitter taste in our mouths, in every sense of the word. It's unfortunate to have to say this, but in this regard, the quality was truly disappointing. The only positive aspect of the evening was the staff, who were courteous and helpful, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for the rest. I hope they can take these comments as a starting point for improvement, because at this time, I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria.
