13/11/2025: We chose "Le Officine Clandestine" to celebrate a graduation with friends. The place is just steps from the Polytechnic University. Excellent food, knowledgeable and courteous staff attentive to every need. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent selection of wines and beers. Highly recommended.

28/11/2025: Let's start with the assumption that I'm always in this area for work but I'd never been here. A WONDERFUL DISCOVERY! I entered the little restaurant and was immediately greeted by the waiter, who seated us and handed the floor to Mr. Peppino. The menu was listed in such detail that I still remember it. Everything was incredibly delicious... the freshest dishes I'd ever eaten anywhere in the world because they were handmade and featured everything the Murgia region has to offer this month! Something not to be underestimated: even though the place was almost full, we didn't wait more than 10 minutes for the appetizers to arrive (or cardoncelli mushrooms, I dreamed about them the next day)! The roast lamb that rounds it all off (I also tried my colleague's tagliata 😂) melted in my mouth! I RECOMMEND IT TO YOU; IN FACT, ALL 5 of us recommend it.

10/12/2025: My husband and I were there and he enjoyed his dish. Mine was too salty and I did not enjoy it. He paid the bill without paying much attention. When we returned to our room we looked at the bill and saw we were charged for 3 meals.

28/10/2025: Pizzeria located on the outskirts of Altamura where fortunately you have no problems finding parking. The pizza and dessert are good. I give 4 stars only because the wait was a bit long.

02/12/2025: After the renovation, it was worse than before. Group of 10 people, result: Too much confusion, chaotic waiters, pizzas arrived in pieces within 30 minutes, some of them wrong, and the prices were a bit exaggerated.

20/10/2025: A beautiful place with many small rooms and a wealth of medieval history. The building features exposed stone vaults, very simple, clean, and welcoming. The food was excellent; I loved the risotto with beetroot cream, stracciatella, and pistachios for starters. I would have preferred outdoor entertainment for the kids, given the size of the gardens. But otherwise, nothing to complain about. The waitress with long hair and the waiter were also excellent, very kind. Worth a try.

21/09/2025: We had the privilege of celebrating our wedding at Barsentum, and we truly couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we drove through the gates and up the impressive driveway, we knew it was the perfect setting for our Apulian wedding vision. Marika and the team were a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, making all the logistics feel seamless. The food and wine were absolutely outstanding and received endless compliments from our guests. We were especially impressed by how the chef and kitchen team maintained such an exceptional standard while catering for over 100 people—a huge credit to them. The service on the day was impeccable, and Michael, in particular, was wonderfully helpful and attentive throughout the entire journey.

28/09/2025: Friendly staff, great food and coffee. Realising we were foreigners traveling through, it was no problem for them to make us some food. Even though their food service had not yet commenced. Very interested in where we were from and explaining ingredients, even though our Italian and their English were very limited. Thank you.

23/11/2025: Terrible and disrespectful home delivery service... it's a constant... you call to order pizzas and even though we ask you to give us the exact time of arrival of the service, the pizzas consistently arrive at least an hour late and not only if you call to rush they make fun of you by saying "5 minutes and at least another half hour will pass" you ask again and they tell you "it's coming out! Booking time 8:20 pm when we asked for specific times and we were told 1 hour no more and therefore 9:20 pm... the pizzas arrived after 3 reminders (in which we were made fun of) at 10:30 pm! This is truly disrespectful and it's not a coincidence because it happens all the time!

09/11/2025: A pleasant evening in Bitritto with friends. First time at this pizzeria, which is known for its generous appetizers and a good variety of pizzas. We ordered a baked mushroom sperlunga (delicious) and a selection of equally interesting pizzas. The staff and owner were very kind and helpful. A positive review; we'll definitely be back.

24/11/2025: As always, everything was excellent quality, with the freshest fish and the option of meat dishes for those who don't eat fish. Excellent wines. Among the appetizers, there was even excellent sushi. The cake was exquisite. They even allowed our little furry friend to come in. The staff was impeccable, always available, courteous, and attentive to our every request. They fulfilled all my wishes and those of the other diners. Perfectly air-conditioned, spotlessly clean restrooms, and plenty of space between tables. The tablecloths were pristine white, and the dishes were spotless. No need to worry about leaving; I'll be back many times because Donato and his staff NEVER disappoint. Incredible price!

22/11/2025: In a word: SHAME. After an interminable wait, I try to contact the restaurant to inquire about my delivery: no answer. The order accumulates over 40 minutes of delay before anyone deigns to answer, claiming the delivery driver was trying to call me (too bad I didn't even receive a single missed call). And anyway, if the restaurant had answered my repeated calls, the problem would never have arisen. They tell me to get off because "the delivery driver is already downstairs." I get off. No one's there. I call back. Again, no answer. I keep calling until finally someone answers, telling me to "wait a moment" because the delivery driver "just moved." The result? Another 20 minutes in the middle of the street, with no news. When I point out the absurdity of the situation, they even hang up on me. This is supposed to be one of the best sushi restaurants in Bari? I've never had such a reprehensible experience.

26/10/2025: What can I say... when we go, we feel right at home. Stefano at the console delights us with so many freshly made delicacies. In the fridge, you'll find a variety of beers unlike anything you've ever seen. Definitely worth returning to... or rather, returning again...

05/10/2025: For me, it remains THE pizzeria in Gioia. The last one left is truly good, with a truly fair quality-price ratio, in fact! A guarantee, extremely friendly staff, delicious pizzas, soft, juicy and never dry or burnt, a variety of ingredients, and always new monthly specials.
