Restaurant with terrace, housed in an 11th-century abbey, directly overlooking the small port of San Vito di Polignano...very evocative...it feels like being immersed in a 1950s atmosphere, with the view of calm waters and the boats of local fishermen, very relaxing...typical Apulian cuisine, excellent food and service. You immediately feel on "vacation", beautiful. We will be back.

The friendly staff at Benedettini treated us like family and our meal was delicious. Everything from the individualized service, their quick shift to accommodate a swift storm, our delicious meal, and the beautiful ambiance made this a memorable experience.

We are a delicious fresh seafood lunch listening to the waves lapping on the shore. The grilled octopus and the fried calamari are standouts. Inside is also beautiful under the abbey.

The location is beautiful, by the sea, in the old port, far from the tourist circuits.
The food is very good, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast.

It was on my to-do list, and finally today, after years and years of longing for this experience, I managed it: I ate at the Locanda dei Benedettini.
Evening meal, reservations with the fork (cards aren't yet accepted), and the service was prompt and friendly.
The menu isn't very extensive, but offers several interesting choices; I chose the very special seafood parmigiana, had excellent fries, and a fantastic first course with mussels and clams: truly hearty, flavorful, and creamy.
The staff is prompt, precise, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Hearing them speak English is a pleasure ❤️
Ah, the atmosphere: worth the price of admission.
I'll be back to try their other specialties.

We stumbled upon it by chance and found a very pleasant and serene atmosphere, delicious food, and quality wines. Kudos to the exceptional cocktails. Well done! A great find!
