27/11/2024: Sono stato qui per una serata dedicata alla bagna cauda e sono rimasto soddisfatto. Il piatto era ben preparato e servito con verdure fresche, e il vino consigliato si abbinava perfettamente. L’atmosfera era accogliente e rilassata, con un tocco di tradizione che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più autentica. Servizio cordiale e attento. Sicuramente un posto da consigliare a chi ama la cucina regionale.

03/01/2025: Sosta durante il viaggio di rientro verso casa, eravamo alla ricerca di un pranzo veloce , così abbiamo deciso di fare questa piccola deviazione per recarci in questo che doveva essere un ristorantino! Entro per verificare se fosse aperto e la disponibilità di accettare i nostri due cani; ore 13, deserto, solo un tavolino occupato, buio e non molto pulito. Chiedo di poterci fermare e cosa prevedesse il menù ( non esposto) … “ pizza , qualche primo, qualche secondo e…i cani li lega fuori” … a questa risposta , é seguito il nostro arrivederci ! A mai più!

01/01/2025: poor assortment and creations that do not respect the true Sicilian tradition. the cream of the cannoli and cassatine tastes more like cream than ricotta (the traditional one must be made strictly with only sheep's ricotta, sugar and chocolate drops), I found the almond pastries undercooked and last but not least, at the beginning of the day I didn't they had buccellatini. in my opinion overall very far from what a true Sicilian pastry shop should be.

16/01/2025: Simple and accurate cuisine. The quantity and quality of the starters, first courses and second courses is vast. The desserts are a little dated. The wines, white and red, are drinkable and unpretentious. The caring, almost maternal staff. Clean bathrooms. The old fashion style environment. I'll be back.

10/01/2025: The quality of the food and service is truly excellent! From the breakfasts with those croissants and especially the tart... one leads to another. The coffee is one of the best around. Then in the lunch service they offer a different menu every day and this is also of excellent quality. Lots of choice. And the staff is always friendly and joking. When you become a regular customer you just have to sit at the table, they already know everything... if only all bars were like this....

15/11/2024: I don't usually leave reviews because I'm not very good at reviewing but I feel obliged to do so because in my opinion they deserve a lot And for about a year if not more I have been ordering poke from them, and sometimes even sushi and I must say that the quality is excellent, and if I have to be honest I don't order poke anywhere else if not from them. The staff are very kind and the arrival time is really quick, as soon as I can I will go directly to the restaurant 🫶🏼

07/02/2025: After a few months I returned to Trattoria L'Alternativa. I found a renewed menu, with few but excellent proposals, all valid. The food is of good quality and the wine cellar truly excellent. The service stands out for the courtesy and affability of the staff. The only sore point concerns the structure, which appears a little neglected and worn by time. Furthermore, you tend to come out full of smells, which is a real shame considering the standard of the cuisine. However, I must say that I ate a really good grissinopoli!

07/01/2025: Terrible treatment - I read this sentence in the review before coming. And the truth has to be told. We went in to get 2 cafes and water to take away. They asked us 9 euros, which is more than what is indicated on the price list. The woman supported this by adding table service to the cost. When I reminded her that we get take out, she said our kids were sitting at the tables outside earlier. We are talking about January, when the tables outside are not served and the children even sat there to have a snack, then got up without leaving a crumb and left. If my husband and I hadn't stopped by for a takeaway coffee, no one would have come to visit us. A virginia.....

29/12/2024: Non si può prenotare in questo ristorante quindi bisogna andare e fare la coda. noi siamo arrivati 15 minuti prima del apertura, i primi. Noi siamo una familia di 5, 3 in coda aspettando altri 2 cercando un parcheggio. Quando la signora ha aperto la porta non ci ha fatti entrare fino all’arrivo degli altri 2 (Ci ha lasciati fuori nel freddo) . Gli altri 2 sono arrivati alle 19:05 e quando siamo entrati ha detto che il posto era gia completo e dobbiamo aspettare un posto libero. Questo ristorante ha nessun rispetto ai clienti. Non andrò mai più.

25/12/2024: Ho provato per la prima volta l’asporto per la cena della vigilia di Natale in famiglia e sono dispiaciuto….di non averla provata prima !!! Beh che dire portate realizzate in maniera impeccabile , cotture perfette , e sapori eccellenti. Porzioni molto abbondanti , prezzo corretto! La stra consiglio e per me sarà una piacevole abitudine d’ora in poi. Bravi , gentili e ben organizzati. Da provare

01/02/2025: A new management that did not disappoint my expectations, I had already known the new manager for a long time and his credentials were very promising!! I would say the place was reborn from the ashes of the old management, blossoming immediately with a menu of dishes prepared with good quality raw materials and cooked with great skill, even the bread, breadsticks and focaccia are excellent; well done Chef‼️ Interesting wine list with also the presence of good Champagne... oh I forgot... very well prepared aperitifs with a nice little plate of accompanying tastings!!️ Food at a fair price; very attentive, empathetic and cheerful waitresses, courteous manager ready to best satisfy the needs of each diner, with attention and a word for everyone; non-nagging and invasive attention and courtesy in an informal, welcoming and, of its kind, slightly retro, even elegant environment. Now all that remains is to wait for the summer to enjoy the courtyard with garden which makes you forget you are in a corner of Turin and makes you dream of being in a bistro in Paris!! a relaxing lunch break with a menu at 🔝‼️ Well done👏👏
