30/04/2026: Nice place, but that's not all; the pizzas are spectacular, especially with whole-wheat dough. The prices are average...

15/03/2026: While we were wandering around the Langhe and looking for a place that wasn't typically Piedmontese, we tried this place. The menu was rich and interesting, perhaps too rich. I didn't try the pizza, so I can't say. We tried the Sardinian food and some fish. The Culurgiones were good, but you couldn't taste the mint; the suckling pig was soft and flavorful, but it was a little burnt rather than crispy. The grilled fish was good, but the casu cottu appetizer wasn't very tasty. The real problem was the timing! Almost an hour before we were served, almost an hour between each course, and the courses weren't coordinated; my main course arrived 45 minutes after my wife's! There are probably some organizational issues in the kitchen, or the very varied menu is causing management problems. What a shame.

14/03/2026: An excellent, unusual dining experience at a fair price. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly.

08/03/2026: After a day skiing in Prato Nevoso, a quick mountain lunch of polenta and venison. The place was welcoming even after 2:00 PM. The food was good, simple, and perfect for a stop before heading home. Recommended.

30/05/2026: A restaurant with a lovely outdoor seating area, but even more beautiful inside. The dishes we tasted were very good and the portions generous. The service wasn't exceptional, with long waits for starters and between courses, even though it wasn't particularly crowded.

15/08/2025: Had lunch today, August 15th... an 11-course appetizer buffet, all you can eat... a grilled dish served at the table, and we ate half of what was served. Desserts were a buffet, so all you can eat, six courses... what can I say? Many compliments to the chef, Claudia, and Andrea for the delicious food and the service... no small feat these days. The air conditioning in the dining room was perfect... the price? Fair for a lunch like this... I've been there before, I was there today, and I'll gladly return. Thank you.

25/12/2025: The atmosphere is impeccably refined, welcoming, and elegant. Even the beautifully arranged outdoor terrace is meticulously designed and framed by a breathtaking view of Verduno and Alba. The service is impeccably prepared and designed to make the evening a truly enjoyable experience, with the courtesy and professionalism of the wait staff making you feel at ease. The dishes are prepared with top-quality ingredients, well-balanced, and beautifully presented! I highly recommend it to everyone... P.S. One small point that, in my opinion, is the excessive intensity of the lighting from the interior "light strips."

21/12/2025: Perched on a ridge with spectacular views on both sides, it's truly a very comfortable place. The entire structure is meticulously designed, with a touch of modern architecture that blends beautifully with the surrounding area. You can better appreciate my description from the photos and videos. The various indoor and outdoor rooms are lovely, whether for an intimate dinner, a small reception, or an aperitif in the hermitage. The soundproofing is excellent. The tables are not covered with tablecloths, but with plastic placemats. The napkins are cotton, and the cutlery and glasses are of excellent quality. The chairs are padded, inviting you to gather around after the meal. The cuisine is excellent; a big step forward since opening. The dishes are beautifully presented, both on the plate and in the descriptions of the staff, who are trained and in uniform. The wine list offers an excellent selection from around the world. 21/04/2026: I had lunch, a starter of pork tenderloin with firm artichokes and a few small shards of Castelmagno cheese, and asparagus risotto, the grain was overcooked on the outside and tough on the inside.

03/04/2026: We arrived without a reservation, but they gave us a table after 10 minutes. We ordered: a shank, a plate of gnocchi with cheese, and a large plate of mixed cheeses. There were three of us. How did it end? I ordered a cheese plate, and it arrived after the other two diners had already finished theirs. Wow! Another thing: the gnocchi were served from the pan and not left at the table even though there were still some. The portions were small. Two small bottles of water, €40. There's a lot of room for improvement.

01/05/2026: I went for lunch on Sunday during a car rally and had a truly positive experience. The food was excellent, with simple yet tasty dishes typical of Piedmontese cuisine. The portions were generous. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. An ideal place for lunch with friends.

19/04/2026: Whether you happen to be in Barge (or the area) by chance or on purpose, stop here. You'll be greeted by a pleasant and anything but ordinary place; and you'll realize this as soon as you enter the dining room on the first floor. The menu offers a few dishes, but that's okay, trust me: you won't know which delicacy to indulge in. Emanuela in the dining room is the perfect and passionate hostess, welcoming you, sharing her stories, complementing and enriching the work of her husband Massimo, who wasn't there, but was all in the excellent dishes, well-made and presented with great care. An honorable mention goes to the foie gras with brioche and caramelized onions, so good we were tempted to ask for seconds before dessert. The overall quality/price ratio is excellent.

10/08/2025: I was out for a bike ride, stopped in Cavallermaggiore, and asked where a pizzeria was open. They recommended "Nonna Ciccia"... excellent pizza, fair prices, and very kind staff! Thanks also to the girl who recommended it to me.

Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail: a lovely gym, a fantastic pool, and quality food and wine!
