A wonderful culinary experience just steps from Grinzane Cavour Castle. La Salinera is a small and intimate restaurant, meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean, with air conditioning and convenient parking, nestled in a simply stunning setting. We sampled several traditional Piedmontese dishes and were thrilled: veal with tuna sauce and carne cruda con bagnetto were truly excellent, featuring top-quality ingredients and authentic flavors, well-balanced and perfectly showcased. The plin pasta with butter and sage was delicate, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, while the tajarin pasta with Piedmontese ragù was simply fantastic: thin and flavorful pasta with a rich and fragrant ragù that magnificently showcases the local tradition. The desserts were also a delightful surprise: the delicious and enveloping brick and the hazelnut cake with zabaglione, a must-try, concluded the meal perfectly. Special praise also goes to the service: impeccable, attentive, and never intrusive. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and always smiling. Spotlessly clean bathrooms and a tidy, welcoming atmosphere. Authentic, precise, and carefully crafted Piedmontese cuisine, where every dish reflects the quality of the ingredients and a passion for tradition. A truly wonderful experience, one we recommend without hesitation. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews; try it and believe it!

I ate well, Piedmontese food, a traditional Piedmontese mixed antipasto, and then I tried the meat and vegetable cannelloni (dish of the day) and the hazelnut cake with zabaglione. Everything was good. Granted, I didn't book, but the entrance hall I sat in was cold (not in temperature). As a tourist in the homeland of wine, I expect a minimum description of the wine served by the glass. The woman (the owner's daughter) was very welcoming. I would definitely return and recommend it as a stop.

If you happen to be in the area of ​​Grinzane and its magnificent castle, you can't miss lunch at this lovely restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the Langhe hills. The atmosphere is wonderful, and with a glass of wine in hand, the beauty of this place is even more appreciated. As for the food, we ate well and at a fair price. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant is just steps from Grinzane Cavour Castle. We found the waitress to be very kind, professional, and extremely efficient. The traditional dishes are truly delicious, with more than generous portions. Everything was delicious, but a special mention goes to the veal stew in Barolo: so tender, it literally melted in your mouth. A pleasant experience that I recommend to anyone in the area.

A delicious trattoria in a stunning location, offering all the classics of Langhe cuisine. Excellent value. Honorable mention goes to the Fassona tataki (beef tartare) and the hazelnut tile (amazing!). Kudos also for their commitment to offering gluten-free versions of the same dishes, as they're well-versed in celiac disease and cross-contamination prevention. We'll definitely be back.

A lovely little bistro, very lively on Sunday morning when we stopped by. The service was very friendly and efficient, the little panini was good and reasonably priced, and the wine list by the glass featured a good selection of local wines.
