Ristorante Trattoria La Salinera In Grinzane cavour

I've known him since they had the grocery store and did a small kitchen. Now it's a no-frills restaurant with good food and honest wines. Courteous and attentive service despite the hectic Easter Monday day. They also make excellent takeaway sandwiches with cured meats and veal with tuna sauce. Prices are a little high but if you take the fixed menu for 34 euros (excluding drinks) you can enjoy first and second starters and even a dessert. Only note: the stew, perhaps the next day would have been softer. To my taste, too much clove covering all the other flavors and meat too dry and not "overcooked" as it should have been. The combination with (green) vegetables doesn't combine much with the meat, I would have liked a puŕe of potatoes better, in fact we left the vegetables. The white bunet is excellent, worth trying.

Today my husband and I had lunch in this place which is clean, tidy and very welcoming. We ate lunch (a full menu plus a first course). Everything excellent. We had a very good time and will certainly return perhaps with friends! To try!!!!

Pretty good tasting menu: starters ok, tajerin not so good, overcooked ditto and desserts ok. Wide choice of wines, for 36 euros rejected: reviewable quality, acceptable quantity

We went to eat at La Salinera on 11/24/2023. We were three people, one of whom had celiac disease. The staff showed great professionalism, bringing this person a separate basket of focaccias and bread substitutes, all gluten-free, and pointing out which dishes on the menu might have traces of gluten. We all ate very well, the quantities were plentiful and the flavors exquisite. A glass of excellent Barolo each, a delicious dessert to finish. About forty Euros each, 5 well-deserved stars!

Very welcoming place, quick service. The only flaw, as I found it, the bathroom had excrement on the wall and on the sink, not much, but it disgusted me. A friend of mine, who went shortly after, found it clean because it had been cleaned by little. For the rest everything is fine.

Locale piccolino ma perfetto per assaporare i piatti tipici della Langa. Buona selezione di vini. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Abbiamo mangiato il menù degustazione e bevuto il vino consigliato da Michele che gestisce egregiamente la sala, consigliato, prezzo adeguato per il cibo, personale cordiale, ritorneremo.

Siamo a Grinzane Cavour. Splendido castello medievale. Dove per 17 anni il Conte Camillo Benso trascorse come sindaco, con 205 ettari e 9 Cascine. Qui, in questo locale della "Salinera" a fianco del castello abbiamo trovato cordialità e simpatia, con gentilezza e tranquillità, visto l'affollamento della domenica. Con piatti semplici e genuini e un vino eccellente, con un modico prezzo e l'atmosfera del foliage di ottobre, con la promessa di ritornarci quanto prima... Grazie
