07/09/2025: One of the precious places that have resisted the winds of change at all costs, with the concrete risk of losing their history and authenticity. Great people, women and men who, thanks to the fire of an intense passion, combined with a strong sense of their roots and the territory, have continued to pursue their dreams and projects. Their tenacity, perseverance, and above all the quality of their food is now recognized and rewarded. The many enthusiasts of authentic cuisine, the tourists who love the places and want to immerse themselves in the joy of dishes cooked with love, knowledge, and great craftsmanship, finally pay their respects. The work of cooking is hard and difficult, the welcome simple and sincere, a complicated and not always recognized art. Vilma, like her teacher Gemma di Roddino, and others scattered throughout this magical territory, are the milestones, the safe havens of food that excites and makes you happy. Kilometers are details when the destination is important, but today, with the valley floor, everything is simpler. We've been to this beautiful osteria several times, in different seasons, with the autumn mist, the warmth of the stove, the scent of truffles, and recently in the height of summer with a group of friends, some producers from the Langhe and Roero, for those shared lunches that will live forever in our memories. A traditional menu featuring our and Vilma's favorite dishes, starting with the Lele, the scent of toasted bread that takes us back to childhood, the cured meats, the Russian salad, the unrivaled and unique anchovies, the raw meat with black Langhe truffle, the cheese fritters, followed by the strictly homemade ravioli, and the rabbit, whose recipe is a family secret and is worth the trip alone. Then the traditional sweet bunets and stuffed peaches, and the fisa music of the great maestro Valter Porro. On this occasion, we were fortunate enough to sample the best wines from the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato regions, but the Vecchia Osteria cellar has excellent labels at fair prices. A dream place. Clean, welcoming, and full of charm, with a warm, sincere welcome that makes you feel at home and in the right place. A dream kitchen where you discover authentic flavors, seasonality, the chef's secrets, and above all, a lot of passion. A place not to be missed. The prices are truly fair. We can't wait to return. 07/07/2025: We happened to be in the small village by chance and yesterday we stopped to grab a bite to eat. Nice place and a nice place outside (where we sat). The person who welcomed us also took care of bringing a large bowl of water for our 3 dogs. The food brought to the table was of good quality. In my opinion, the desserts (only 2) were not sweet enough. I found the bill a little high, considering what we ate. I have a note to make. It would be good, when seating people, to explain how the service will be carried out, instead of arriving directly with the appetizers. Without saying anything, we would have found ourselves with the entire tasting menu. My husband didn't dare say anything, so I had to play the role of the unpleasant one and stop everything. Just this little trick.

19/10/2025: A disappointing experience despite the good promise. We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening for dinner with six friends, arriving with very high expectations that, unfortunately, were disappointed during the evening. The food was good, but the overall experience was marred by chaotic service and excessively long wait times. The courses arrived at different times, meaning we couldn't all eat together: some of us had our first course served about an hour and a quarter after ordering. When it came time to get the bill, we asked for an explanation for the long wait, but were treated with little courtesy and even mocked, as if what had happened were impossible. An apology arrived only after we insisted, which left us feeling even more disappointed. We recommend better service organization, clearer communication with customers when ordering, and a more respectful attitude when handling any complaints. We wish future customers a better experience than ours, and the establishment good luck in the future. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to return.

19/10/2025: A truly delightful place! The atmosphere is welcoming, with beautiful brick walls and a modern touch. The service is attentive and friendly—you truly feel pampered. The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The tagliolini with truffles were simply exceptional! A restaurant you'll always want to return to.

06/09/2025: Bar with a cozy seating area across the street, but also lovingly decorated inside. Focus on crepes, but also paninis alongside aperitivo. Usually shady in summer. Very cozy location, lovely ambiance with lots of greenery.

24/08/2025: We stumbled upon it while wandering around town and it was a very pleasant surprise! The crepes are excellent, as are the egg dishes. There's a wide selection of sandwiches and crepes, as well as drinks, including iced herbal teas! The staff was so friendly, they even let us pick a piece of Lourdes ivy! The atmosphere is magnificent and the attention to detail is top-notch! If we ever come back, we'll definitely be back!

06/10/2025: Osteria Disguido offers an elegant setting with a relaxed atmosphere and the warmth of a traditional trattoria, with a very modern design. The menu is simple and informal, the dishes are delicious with an emphasis on the taste of the ingredients, the experience. The friendly and professional staff further enriches the experience, with useful recommendations for dishes and wines. The menu is based on local Piedmont specialties, prepared with an emphasis on tradition and seasonal ingredients, while an impressive selection of wines from the Fontanafredda cellar (from the enoteca located within the building) perfectly complements each plate, if we add to all the above a very fair price-quality ratio, this place is definitely worth a visit if your trip takes you to the beautiful Langhe region

09/11/2025: My experience at this restaurant was, unfortunately, not at all positive. We were a table of 13, primarily the location: in the cellar, among the barrels, a humid environment, obviously, but not ideal for lunch in November. It was dark (the overhead lamps didn't provide enough light, and there was no other lighting on the table), and sound leakage made it difficult to understand each other's conversations. The packaged breadsticks were good, but I expect them in a tavern, not a restaurant in the Langhe; the bread wasn't fresh today. The house red wine, a tart Nebbiolo, only slightly improved in flavor by letting it air out in the glass. For the first course, a vegetarian at the table was served tagliolini al dente, blanched and served with a drizzle of oil (I expect this dish to be on a children's menu; a simple butter and sage would have been fine). The meat was very salty. The service was slow and inattentive; we had to repeatedly ask for refills of bread and water (at one point, I got up to get the waitress's attention, bringing an empty bottle). The waitress literally started clearing the tables while we were still eating dessert. Finally, the Moscato glasses smelled bad; they were probably left in a cupboard and not cleaned before being brought to the table. All this for the modest sum of €55 per person, which I'm willing to pay if it's worth it, but not only because it's the truffle fair season in the Langhe. I don't think I'll ever return to this restaurant, nor will I recommend it.

29/09/2025: Highly recommended. We booked for 8 people, and since we didn't have a set menu, each of us was free to order as we pleased. We saw many different dishes carefully prepared and beautifully plated, and the taste matched the appearance. Well done, well done, well done. The explanations of the dishes, starting with the restaurant's greetings as an appetizer, were very much appreciated, and the wine culture took us by surprise. Smiles and laughter accompanied our evening, aided by the very kind staff. It was a truly enjoyable evening, thanks to the owner and his assistant. The people of None say hello. See you soon.
