25/05/2025: A stone's throw from Racconigi Castle, El Quartin offers a warm atmosphere and a very respectable menu for both the tasting menu and the à la carte. The staff is very kind and the price is more than fair. Definitely recommended. We will be back

24/04/2025: I came for a Sunday lunch and the restaurant offers a fixed menu offering the possibility of an encore. Excellent quality-price ratio with excellent raw materials. Very varied and all interesting proposals. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will happily return!!

Abbiamo iniziato con antipasti misti davvero ottimi, agnolotti al sugo di arrosto deliziosi, stracotto alla birra con contorno e crostata integrale con confettura di albicocche ottima!! Servizio impeccabile, staff molto gentile, locale ordinato e super pulito. Consigliatissimo a chi, come noi, amano il buon cibo e passare del tempo in famiglia. A presto!

16/05/2025: Non avendo prenotato sono riusciti cortesemente a trovarci un tavolo per me, mio marito ed i miei due bambini. Personale educato e cibo delizioso. Un locale curato e attento ai dettagli. Davvero una piacevolissima sorpresa, torneremo!

Tutto molto saporito senza essere mai pesante, risultato pancia piena e pieno appagamento delle papille gustative. 19/05/2025: Trattoria famigliare, semplice e genuina come non ce ne sono quasi più. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo! Servizio impeccabile, staff e proprietari gentilissimi. Cosa chiedere di più?. Non conoscevamo il posto ma essendo in zona per impegni sportivi della figlia (consigliatissima la visita al bel paesino con belvedere straordinario su Mondovi Piazza ed arco alpino) abbiamo deciso di prenotare qua dopo aver letto le recensioni ed essendo amanti delle "vecchie" Trattorie dove si può ancora mangiare come della Nonna senza spendere un occhio della testa. L'ambiente si presenta subito molto famigliare, il menu non è alla carta ma fatto da loro e servito per tutta la sala; si parte con un piatto di antipasti misto "freddi" con prosciutto cotto, crudo e melone, salame, toma condita con olio e prezzemolo, insalata russa, vitello tonnato e carne cruda con guarnizione di cipolle rosse caramellate. Si continua con un altro piatto di antipasti composto da torta salata ripiena di erbette e flan di melanzane con salsa al pomodoro piccantina. Come primi ravioli burro e salvia e tagliatelle al ragù. Per secondo roast beef con insalatina e pollo alla cacciatora con patate. Bis anche per il dolce con il calssico bunet e una deliziosa cheese cake. Tutto molto buono e fresco. Tutto questo ben di dio a 30€ a testa (ai bimbi nonostante abbiano mangiato quasi tutto il menu è stato fatto pagare 15€ a testa) compreso di mezzo litro di Dolcetto della casa, acqua e caffè. Continuate cosi! siete tra gli ultimi baluardi in provincia della vera cucina di casa a prezzi accessibili a tutti.

15/02/2025: Siamo stati per la prima volta alla Locanda del Prof. per la cena di San Valentino. La location famigliare avvolge i commensali non appena varcata la soglia e i padroni di casa sono una piacevole presenza che accompagna con estrema cura e cortesia la cena. Sulle pietanze nulla da dire, strabilianti i sapori, porzioni giuste e ottimi abbinamenti. Must della serata, il polpo morbidissimo che è stato un dispiacere vedere terminare nel piatto tanto era buono. Sicuramente questa è stata solo la prima di altre occasioni dove con piacere andremo a gustare un ottimo pasto in una piacevolissima atmosfera famigliare. Attenzione ai dettagli, al cliente e al rendere l'esperienza unica. Da dieci e lode!

17/11/2024: We booked this B&B because we had been given a Smartbox package that we wanted to use. I must say that among the various choices it seemed to us the only one worthy of being visited. With the directions of the navigator we arrived right in front of it without any difficulty. The restaurant was closed so all that remains is the B&B. After recovering the keys we entered a mini apartment. Since we are a couple, we were given the option of using a double bedroom, the bathroom, the living room and a kitchen without a kitchen 😁 The other rooms had been locked. The environment immediately seemed clean to us even if the furnishings were a bit dated. The bedroom is very spacious, sheets that seem new, shame about the single mattresses on double slats that for a couple are a little uncomfortable if you are not used to sleeping each in their own place. In the Smartbox description it reported two nights + two breakfasts + a picnic basket. We did not receive the latter and, to be honest, we did not even ask for it because we were already organized for lunches and dinners. Breakfast is served directly by the owner (kind and discreet) at an agreed time. It is a home-made breakfast, not exactly what you would expect but I must say that all in all it turned out to be healthy and nutritious. Let's say that overall it is a nice place, in an absolutely naturalistic and quiet context, it just needs a little refresh and modernization.

14/12/2024: Take-away pizzas only. Different types, Neapolitan-style dough with a fairly pronounced and high crust. Good and with plenty of filling.

19/04/2025: Not a very large pizzeria, simple, informal decor. They don't do first courses so we ate a Milanese with chips and six different pizzas. Light dough and excellent seasoning. The desserts are also good. Courteous service. Everyone liked the food. Not excessive bill.

02/06/2025: I came for lunch with my father, the menu is fixed price at 11 euros, the choice of dishes is quite varied and includes a first course (which unfortunately I forgot to take photos of), a second course and a side dish. The dishes were very good, you can perceive a high quality of the ingredients, the right portions: enough to satisfy the appetite but without being too abundant and heavy. The service was friendly and fast. Excellent value for money, ideal for a lunch break. We will definitely be back 😁
