07/10/2025: We recently visited Birrificio Alba in the beautiful Roero setting, nestled in the hills of Guarene. Alberto, the owner, welcomed us with simplicity and harmony. The production facility is truly a gem; the products are truly exceptional, and the highlight is the three gluten-free beers (which I hope will be expanded further in the future). Well done, well done, well done! 👏🏻

12/09/2025: Small brewery brewing eight different beers. 33cl and 75cl bottles are available. You can also buy beer distillate. The price per 33cl bottle is €3.50. Beer distillate is €22.00 for a 50cl bottle. (Price as of September 2025).

22/03/2026: Good evening, friends booked a table for three people online on Thursday, March 19, 2026, for Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 7:30 PM. We received a confirmation email, and at 6:30 PM on Sunday, we received an email reminding us that we had a reservation and asking us to be on time. When we arrived, the lady at the cashier told us that there was no reservation even though we had a confirmation email. She told us that the problem was with the reservation platform, then changed her story, telling the pizza chef that he was there when we made the reservation, so she wasn't responsible. They offered us a table where we had to have dinner in half an hour because they had no free seats. Naturally, we opted for another pizzeria. You didn't look good in our eyes because you should have found a solution and corrected your mistake. It's true that making mistakes is human, but you have to do everything you can to avoid sending away an unsatisfied customer. I'm sorry because my friends are regulars here. Remember that you should always respect the customer because they're the ones who allow you to work. I found a lack of professionalism and little interest in solving the problem. My opinion will certainly count for little, but I recommend more professionalism. Best regards.

25/02/2026: A real disappointment!!! The place was rundown, damp, cold, and really dirty!!! And to think I'd heard good things about it... The dishes were lacking in quality. Despite having mentioned any intolerances, I was assured there would be no problem substituting the dishes in my Smartbox... Instead...we basically ate one dish less, and no one bothered to bring a replacement... The fried egg was truly awful. Pieces of raw egg whites and overcooked yolks... I'll leave aside the fact that, in addition to being poorly presented, it was also a truly unpleasant combination of flavors.

14/03/2026: We went to the restaurant...what can I say? An incredible discovery. The atmosphere was very refined. The cuisine was simply excellent, and the service was excellent. All this at a very reasonable price, in my opinion. I'll definitely return to this place when I'm in the area. Excellent!

12/02/2026: The Bistrot degli Artisti in Racconigi is a truly delightful place, located on the outskirts of town, making it convenient thanks to its outdoor parking. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for a pleasant evening. The menu offers high-quality traditional and classic dishes, carefully prepared using excellent ingredients. The wine and beer lists are also varied and interesting, perfect for pairing each course. The price absolutely reflects the quality of the food and service. The waitresses are friendly, helpful, and always ready to accommodate guests' needs. I absolutely recommend this place and will gladly return.

Her husband expertly assisted us with the wine selection, thanks to a truly excellent wine list. For appetizers, we enjoyed raw meat and poached egg with fondue, both accompanied by extraordinary truffles sourced directly from the region. For first courses, we chose pasta with ragù and pumpkin gnocchi. The portions were very generous. For the fourth course, we were served liver in Moscato. The owner places great importance on regionality and the quality of the products. The truffle was by far the best we tasted in Alba in 2025. The cuisine was excellent, and the service was very friendly and personal; we found the restaurant extremely welcoming. We highly recommend "Il Brutto Anatroccolo" and can't wait to return! We visited in November 2025 and were warmly welcomed. There was a lovely selection of dishes, which was explained to us by the owner and chef. Her husband guided us competently through the impressive wine list and helped us choose the perfect wines. For starters, we had raw meat and poached egg with fondue, both served with outstanding truffles sourced directly from the region. As first courses, we enjoyed pasta with ragù and pumpkin gnocchi. The portions are very generous. As our fourth course, we were served liver in Moscato. The owner puts great emphasis on regionality and the quality of the ingredients. The truffle was by doing the best we had in Alba in 2025. The food was excellent, and the service was incredibly warm and personal. We also found the restaurant very cozy and inviting. We can wholeheartedly recommend “The Ugly Duckling” and are already looking forward to our next visit

17/09/2025: We discovered Osteria del Brutto Anatroccolo, a true haven of happiness. Delicious food and a unique atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

15/10/2025: Famous for its "Bramardini" and all its exquisite desserts and cakes, but... also excellent for aperitifs! The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. The interior is beautiful, and the outside is pleasant, where you can sip your coffee or enjoy a delicious aperitif among the window displays in the shelter of the gallery.

12/09/2025: A coffee in this pastry shop is a must for anyone passing through Alba. Combined with high quality chocolate with a refined flavour, accompanied by the courtesy of the staff. Spacious and with plenty of seating.
