To the question "do they know how to make Piedmontese cuisine?" I would answer yes! Central location, along the river, easily reachable from Canelli (absolutely worth a visit!) kind and courteous staff, old-fashioned service. Excellent quality of food and oh well, it's easy for the area, excellent wines! Portions that due to their size do not exclude quality. Sweet, bitter, coffee and grappling essential after an 8-9 course Sunday lunch. Come in if you're hungry!

Place located right in the main square of the town. We stopped for lunch and it was all really great. Really good traditional Piedmontese dishes, attentive and kind waiters, quick service, normal prices. Highly recommended

We happened upon this restaurant after the one we had booked in another town, was unexpectedly closed. The staff were exceedingly welcoming and friendly and we had a lovely porcini pasta meal with a salad and a bottle of wine, all very tasty and at a very modest price. We were given a local after dinner drink when we paid our bill.

review for the restaurant⚠️ Truly excellent Piedmontese cuisine, right portions and intriguing combinations. Impeccable service: really good waiters, kind and quick. I highly recommend trying it to believe it! ☺️ I didn't have the opportunity to try the desserts, but honestly they inspired me a lot! in the photo: fried mushrooms, fassona steak, ravioli filled with fondue, (+leek and pumpkin gnocchi), octopus with chickpea cream, but in the photo there is a variant with rocket cream.

Recensione del solo Hotel (in quanto non abbiamo provato il risto, aperto solo a pranzo). Hotel in posizione perfetta, con parcheggi a poche decine di metri, palazzo storico ma completamente ristrutturato all'interno. Spazioso e pulito. Personale gentilissimo e attento. C'è da tornarci, anche per via del borgo di Monforte veramente bello.

Posizione ottima in piena piazza a Monforte d Alba abbiamo pranzato cibo buono prodotti ottimi e di qualità cucinati con cura . Lo consiglio !

Osteria Senza Fretta

28/02/2024: Dinner in this place was really pleasant, and not only from a culinary point of view. The dishes have a delicate and strong flavor at the same time. I would say a perfect balance. The menu is varied and with a strong...personality! The care that the staff takes is palpable, from the preparation of the dishes to the table service. Everyone inside the place is kind and very helpful. It is one of those places where the customer has the opportunity to perceive himself as truly well hosted and not as a mere consumer making money. In short: from every point of view, there are valid reasons to return. The quality/price ratio is not only excellent, but also deserved. Small personal consideration, which has little to do with the quality of the place: for the first time (also thanks to the advice, based on my tastes, of whoever served me at the table), I also had the opportunity to taste a wine that I loved it, as I'm not a big wine lover. So, double thanks!
