Excellent hotel on the road to Cuneo. Very convenient for parking, very friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms, furnishings perhaps a little dated, but they still look like suites. All this gives the structure a fascinating atmosphere.

Da tempo non capitavo in un locale con un servizio così squisito, elegante e discreto. Siamo ad una cena per festeggiare la raggiunta pensione di un amico. Nel salone riservato ci accoglie un tripudio di antipasti in bella vista su ampi tavoli: non solo salumi e focacce, scaglie di parmigiano, tartine in varietà, ma un assortimento multicolore di bicchierini di plastica monoporzione da far girare la testa con insalata russa, gamberetti e salmone, polpo e patate...; una bagna cauda delicatissima con verdure fresche già tagliate fini; pesce appena fritto servito in cartoccio, polpettine, arrosticini... Tanta di quella roba che già basterebbe, servita con garbo e cortesia. Poi ci accomodato al tavolo, preparato con cura ed eleganza. Ecco arrivare il cestino di pasta fillo con tonno di coniglio e cruderie: un tripudio di colori e un'armonia di gusti. Quindi prosciutto di cervo con rucola e robiola; poi millefoglie dell'ortolano su vellutata di Castelmagno. E come resistere al risotto alla zucca e porcini mantecato con fonduta di taleggio? Il freddo agli agrumi ci prepara alla guancia di vitello con ristretto di nebbiolo e schiacciata di patate e speck e spinaci. La torta merita una foto per i colori e una menzione per la delicata leggerezza. Siamo storditi da tanta bontà... Un grazie sentito a chi ha scelto e organizzato; onori a chi ha preparato e servito tutto questo! Se lo meritano...
