26/12/2025: We've been disappointed with the dessert lately. The apple strudel wasn't worth the price. Just two slices of apple strudel on the plate, without a scoop of cream or ice cream to accompany it. The two stars are because, after all, it wasn't so delicious. Overall, a bit pricey.

11/11/2025: As a daughter of the sea, I crave fish no matter where I travel for work. Excellent ingredients only need the simplest cooking methods, and this shrimp was a perfect fit for me; it even tasted like shrimp! The fish was cooked to perfection, neither too overcooked nor undercooked, and it showed the Maillard reaction. For dessert, I ordered something like pudding, which was also delicious! The owner and the other staff were very friendly, even though we could only communicate through sign language.

04/01/2026: A tasty and relaxing lunch during the Christmas holidays, unfortunately without a panoramic view due to the season. However, the fireplace made the atmosphere more welcoming. The service was quick and friendly, starting with a welcome wine tasting and breadsticks, followed by great care in each preparation and presentation. The raw beef was fresh and of high quality. The round was tender, and the sauce was bold but didn't overpower the flavor of the meat. The agnolotti were perfect, as per tradition. We paired them with an excellent Ruché di Castagnole and concluded with desserts equally worthy of a taste: the warm zabaglione made every bite of the hazelnut cake, which on its own would tend to crumble, delicious; the crushed amaretti biscuits on the bunet created a perfect contrast with the soft chocolate base that melted in the mouth. Prices were normal. It would be ideal to return in the warmer months to enjoy the panoramic view of the hills, but I would recommend this trattoria regardless.

21/12/2025: We loved this restaurant. The atmosphere and decor were very warm. The two young women who greeted us were extremely friendly and pleasant throughout the service. They suggested adding white truffle to our dishes, which was excellent value. The Alba del Monferrato red wine was superb. There's a terrace that must be lovely in the warmer months and evenings. Thank you to the staff.

Today, his 23-year-old grandson has already designed the winery you're visiting, and he cooks with the energy and cultural clarity of his home, having gained significant experience at the Mudec in Milan, one of Italy's international cultural centers. Lower Monferrato. Varengo, a hamlet of Gabiano. Hillside. A rare example of "family style and culture" that knows how to create refined cuisine. Perfect portions. A small wine cellar, but a place for meditation and a delight for the senses. The restaurant is by reservation only—or rather, "reservation"—and offers a highly personalized menu based on guest requests. The menu changes every three months. Refined local ingredients are used, including meat. Whipped maple butter, homemade bread, pretzels, spreadable gorgonzola, and the boiled meats with green sauce in a Chinese ravioli set us on a path to dinner. Innovative appetizers, and the first course, a beetroot and gorgonzola risotto, with rare flavor and balance. The second course's tender and flavorful diaphragm cooked on a silken potato. A genuine, artisanal, unfiltered Grignolino. A Catalan cream with a surprising flavor and color.

16/01/2026: It's a little out of the way, but it was a great find! The dishes change regularly, but they're always refined and unique. Baladin beers are always available, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

19/11/2025: We were guests at the resort and had a great time. We were there for a dog show so we had our dogs with us. Everything was wonderful: the location and the room. Breakfast was delicious with the lady who welcomed us. The room was clean and the style of the rooms was top notch.

06/10/2025: We stopped over on our way there and back, and everything was perfect! The beds were very comfortable, and we had a spacious family room with the kids. And the service was very attentive and good. 👍 👍👍

11/01/2026: We had dinner this evening and ordered three pizzas, which I must say were some of the best we've had in recent years... the staff was truly kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs! The interior isn't overly well-kept, but I must say you feel comfortable there anyway... well done! We'll definitely be back and try the dishes.
