23/07/2025: My tour of typical (Italian) trattorias, not all of which I've reviewed, continues. I finally got to visit Bruschetta di Cavallirio. The first time, I couldn't because there was no room. What can I say? ❓️ As happens in many trattorias that reserve almost every day of the week for a specialty, I happened upon it on Friday, July 17th, the day of the week reserved for fried calamari. The set menu with water, coffee, wine, or soft drink costs €13 with three choices each of first course, second course, and two side dishes. I chose penne all'arrabbiata, fried calamari, and sautéed carrots and peas. Impeccable service, with plenty of waiters in the dining room and a cheerful atmosphere among the patrons. Simplicity and authenticity always pay off...

07/09/2025: We dined at this restaurant this time. I highly recommend the rabbit roulade appetizer; the meat was tender and paired perfectly with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The veal stew was also very tender, though the main course was a bit more heavily seasoned, so I recommend enjoying it with the appetizer bread. The dessert is a must-try here. I recommend the cream cheese; it's incredibly rich and creamy, with a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture. For those looking for a local dessert, try the grilled peaches in the first row of desserts; I really enjoyed their sweet and sour flavor.

04/10/2025: A traditional Piedmontese menu with well-executed and tasty dishes: the beef tartare was excellent, the tajarin with rich ragù sauce was rich, the veal braised in Barolo was tender and flavorful, and we finished with a bunet (a typical Italian pasta dish) accompanied by a truly delicious hazelnut gelato. The price was fair for the quality and the comprehensive menu. We had lunch outside in the piazza in front of the restaurant. Service could be improved, but it was very friendly and professional. We'll definitely try again.

15/09/2025: First of all, the staff is truly friendly and pleasant. The ingredients are top-notch. I couldn't find anything wrong with them. Everything was perfect. The selection of appetizers was sublime, and every course was of the highest quality, from the prosciutto crudo to the carne crudo with bagna cáuda. And considering the quantity and the second helpings offered, I would have been pleasantly full already. But I had the Fritto Misto alla Piemontese. I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it, but it was so good I even had second helpings. The house wine was excellent, almost 3 liters. 🤗🤗... with coffee, grappa, and bitters. I just couldn't finish dessert, I was so full. The only downside is that I can't go every night. The price? Considering the quality and quantity, we didn't spend much. Congratulations!! You are truly excellent!!

30/09/2025: Our visit to the APE wine bar was an all-around wonderful experience. The sommelier looked after us with great expertise and passion and recommended an excellent wine – just the thing for us. Afterwards, we were able to sample all the aperitifs in the bar and had the opportunity to purchase our favorites directly – a personal and very friendly gesture that impressed us. The food was excellent: fresh, creative, and perfectly matched to the wines. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; you immediately feel welcome. APE wine bar is a place we would gladly return to – for great wines, outstanding food, and genuine hospitality. Thank you.

27/09/2025: At 8pm, with people sitting down for an aperitif, they told us that we couldn't sit down because they had suspended the bar service due to difficulties in managing the restaurant's clientele. However, despite the fact that they had been offering bar service since the 6pm, the waitress replied "we're not a bar, we're a restaurant." 1 star is a must.
