I had lunch here one Sunday during a trip with my mother, choosing it on the spot based on online reviews and availability.
We ordered traditional dishes, specifically bagna cauda and boiled meat, while my mother ordered other specialties, which I sampled, and we both thoroughly enjoyed everything, including the desserts.
The house Dolcetto di Dogliani was also very good, which accompanied the entire meal.
The service was professional and courteous; the wait was slightly long, but still acceptable for a Sunday lunch. The prices are fair and reasonable for the type of offering. A pleasant discovery and recommended for those seeking traditional local cuisine.

Very nice place in the center of Dogliani. Friendly staff. Good food, but portions are a bit small. There were supposed to be four of us, but we ended up booking for eleven based on the menu posted on the website. When we arrived in Dogliani, the menu displayed in the restaurant wasn't the same. This time, my friends weren't satisfied, both with the portions and the lack of dishes we'd hoped for. The final price was disproportionate and inappropriate, in our opinion.

The ingredients are definitely high-quality....but can't you pay €13 for a plate of vegetables (2 broccoli, 1 asparagus tip, a few carrot and zucchini slices)?! Add two appetizers, a first course, a second course, a dessert, water and service charge, and two generous glasses of wine (€24)....total €99 for two...that seems really too much to me.

We had lunch at this inn on Sunday. Unfortunately, I can't give it full stars because the portions seemed truly too small. We left the table still hungry, despite the price tag we felt was disproportionate to what we ate: €55 per person, not including a full meal, with an €18 bottle of wine. Decent quality, but the price/quantity ratio definitely needs reconsidering.

A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Dogliani, with beautiful brick vaults. The atmosphere is very pleasant, thanks both to the friendly waiters and owner, and to the customers, who are easily able to strike up a conversation, even in Piedmontese. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, all of Piedmontese origin. The Fassona tartare is delicious, as is the pasta with venison ragù, duck à l'orange, and filo pastry, and the desserts are truly unique. The waiting times between courses are also very good. Excellent selection of wines, almost all local. Very good value.

Excellent for a family lunch in the Langhe. The cuisine is authentic Piedmontese, unbeatable classic. The wines are Langhe wines. Nothing more to add. Highly recommended! (They also serve truffles if they're in season.)
