Dine in a medieval tower renovated in an exceptional way, inserting glass and steel inside, a few tables on each landing, original and unique furnishings and accessories, connections with other parts dug into the rock ... Truly "extraordinary" location in which food and very good wines - for me - have taken a back seat.

Excellent restaurant led by Giulio, a local well known wine specialist. A good place to try the wines of this region accompanied by suitable dishes. The wine cellar is a separate miracle! Thanks for the advice with wineries and Barolo Chinato.

A journey back in time, where technology stops and the mind has the opportunity to regenerate by smelling the aromas of inviting dishes, and relax in rooms wrapped in brick and warm wood. I thank Giulio and his staff for pampering us these days and letting us discover and see Piedmontese places accompanied by excellent wine.

This space is truly a dream. Its configuration cannot be described in words. The service was good, but needs improvement, as does the cleanliness of the tables. That's why the 4 stars. The local dishes were quite tasty, while the wine list was amazing.

I had only just started my dinner and already knew this place was special: had the rabbit paté, which went beautifully with the jam and Marsala. The finanziera was also a surprising delight - unexpected and delicious and creamy. The star, however, certainly was the ribeye on the bone of local veal, which had been perfectly cooked. To boot, service was great and helpful and always there when needed. Would recommend without hesitation!

The restaurant was authentic and modern. Incredibly good food and drink. The whole atmosphere here is good! Recommended!

Super characteristic place, very well renovated. I always happily come back for both the food and the wine.

Bella osteria moderna in un borgo antico, con personale giovane e un'offerta sul menu molto interessante. In due persone abbiamo preso: 1 antipasto, 1 primo, 1 secondo, 1 dolce, 2 calici di vino, acqua, 2 caffè, 1 amaro. 76€. Lo trovo caro. Il cibo è buono ma nulla che abbia trovato imperdibile, quindi è per quello che mi è sembrato caro. Un esempio: il piatto di lumache costa 20€ e si tratta di una manciatina di lumache in umido con un contorno che secondo me non si sposa per niente con le lumache (cavolfiore e pomodoro crudo non c'entrano molto con le lumache). Una curiosità: avendo visto un dolce a base di zabaione, ho chiesto di avere come dolce un po' di zabaione al cucchiaio. Mi rispondono "non lo possiamo fare, molti ce lo chiedono ma non lo possiamo fare". Ma se "molti ve lo chiedono" perché non metterlo in menu? Mah! Il servizio è molto cordiale ma un po' lento.

Avrei dato anche più stelle… Grande accoglienza da un vero conoscitore del luogo e dei prodotti del luogo. Un ambiente antico restaurato con una cura, competenza e un amore mai visti grazie!

Ho cenato in questo bel locale di Monforte d’Alba questa settimana. Cucina di livello a prezzi piu’ che onesti. Bravissime le ragazze in sala.
