22/03/2025: March 2025 dinner. My wife and I are not vegan, but we appreciate vegetable-based dishes. We attended a dinner with friends, attracted by the company. The place is particular and charming, set in a historical context. The dishes were well presented, even if the menu was difficult to interpret for those who are not experts in vegan cuisine. I tasted some of the other diners' dishes and found them acceptable, considering that they were attempts to imitate traditional dishes. Personally, I opted for a dish that I thought was based only on vegetables and carbohydrates, but the only one that fully satisfied me was the breaded porcini mushroom. The caponata wasn't a real caponata: too sweet, you could only taste the raisins. The Venus rice with vegetables had a sauce that, in the long run, was cloying. The chocolate dessert was very strong and dense, given the absence of butter and milk, as expected in vegan cuisine. I found the service not very empathetic and, the icing on the cake, when the place was now empty, we asked to separate the bill for the drinks that a guest wanted to offer for his birthday, but we were told that "separate bills are not available on Fridays and Saturdays". I would have liked to find some more traditional vegetable-based dishes, given that Italian cuisine offers a wide choice."

09/03/2025: L'Osteria L'Archivolto di Ovada offre piatti tipici piemontesi, come tajarin, brasato e fritto misto, Bgana Caouda, preparati con ingredienti freschi e locali. Il locale, accogliente e familiare, vanta un servizio cortese e una terrazza con vista sulla piazza. La selezione di vini, tra cui il Barolo, accompagna perfettamente i piatti. Un'ottima scelta per chi vuole gustare la tradizione culinaria del Piemonte.

23/03/2025: The restaurant "The new happiness" is a really interesting place. The place is absolutely impeccable as is the service and the dishes. The materials processed are of top quality and are absolutely tasty. I wanted to live an oriental culinary experience with the maximum options that Turin presents. I have to say she was satisfied. I enjoyed everything but above all, I think the spring roll was amazing. The cost of lunch was more than fair and I left the place full with stomach, taste, mind and heart. I once again offer my compliments to the chef, to those who manage and to those who serve with sweetness, attention and respect for the customer.

28/03/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Convito della Venaria for a business lunch and I can say that it was a fantastic experience. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was impeccable. Every dish I tasted was prepared with the freshest ingredients and extraordinary flavours, truly divine cuisine. Furthermore, the staff was super friendly and helpful, ready to modify the dishes according to our needs. A truly thoughtful welcome that made the experience even more pleasant. And then, the view! The restaurant is located right in front of the Royal Palace of Venaria, and the view you have during the meal is simply spectacular. Eating with that view in front of you is an experience that adds a special touch to lunch. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a good lunch in a welcoming environment and with an extraordinary view, Il Convito della Venaria is definitely a choice that I recommend!

09/04/2025: Superb restaurant, we were shocked by the value for money. Unique and elaborate dishes, still generous at a very reasonable price. The server was helpful and gave us good advice. We were passing through Turin but were hesitant to return to this restaurant during our vacation schedule.

04/03/2025: Tornata dopo anni e dopo una prima, fallimentare, esperienza da sola, questa volta con mio marito. Volevamo un aperitivo, siamo entrati e già l’interno puzzava di (pessimo) formaggio bruciato. Domandiamo due calici di “bollicine” differenti, ed entrambi ci vengono serviti caldi e da due bottiglie palesemente aperte da tempo. Di accompagnamento, una minuscola ciotolina di patatine o qualcosa del genere (non ricordo), il resto andava ordinato da un (caro) menù. I due calici caldi e da bottiglie aperte chissà quando ci sono costati più di sei euro a testa, in un ambiente puzzolente di formaggio bruciato, con una illuminazione a nostro gusto trista e gran caos. Da dimenticare.

Staff: never intrusive, very friendly and approachable, they make everything easy. Some confusion in the orders, but it was very busy Bathroom: clean and tidy, note of merit for the sanitary towels provided free of charge Menu: the quality of the dishes is excellent. Really generous portions and lots of variety. We took Hamburger Paolo and Hamburger Gambero, both really good. The fries were good, perhaps too salty for our tastes. Value for money: excellent, considering the overall quality of the experience. We spent 41 euros on two sandwiches, water and coke + cover charge

23/03/2025: I have already tried the restaurant a few times. Excellent location, very welcoming and friendly staff. The cuisine is excellent, modern and at the same time respectful of local traditions which are nice to know or rediscover. Always very interesting to discover what's off the menu of the day. Elegant and refined service that also knows how to be affable, with that touch of sincere informality that makes it truly pleasant. Excellent wine list, with a particular predilection for the selection of champagne, really difficult to find so rich and interesting. The quality/price ratio of both the food and the wines is very honest. Super recommended.

08/03/2025: Beautiful place in the centre, we started the meal with a veal with tuna sauce and a potato filled with cheese cream and black truffle which were really very good, then being in Alba we couldn't leave without tasting the famous tajarin 30 yolks with his majesty the white truffle of Alba, a truly exceptional dish worthy of the fame it brings. The waiters and especially the owner are very kind and professional. Congratulations we will be back.

05/03/2025: Cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que nous retournons à Alba pour la fête de la truffe blanche et à chaque fois nous nous rendons dans ce restaurant. L'accueil est largement supérieur aux autres établissements. La qualité des truffes est irréprochable. Les plats et charcuterie tous délicieux. Bien situé sur la place principale, le restaurant est séparé en 2 parties. En haut, esprit brasserie et en bas, une jolie salle de restaurant avec une carte légèrement différente.
