13/10/2025: The food is very, very good. Alessandro is an excellent host. The dishes are good, well-cooked. The price is in line with the 2025 costs. It's not cheap, but it's fair. You don't feel ripped off when you leave, in fact, you think, "I ate well and enjoyed the fish dishes..."

12/10/2025: A truly exceptional place where intimacy and serenity are guaranteed by the limited seating, which also ensures high-quality service, kitchen management, and raw ingredients. All the fish is super fresh, and the entire staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional. A delicious, high-quality menu is "decanted" by the owner directly at the table, at the right price considering we're talking about fish caught practically in front of us, but with flavors that truly deserve a solid 10! The mussels are excellent, but in general everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. 👌🏼 We'll definitely be back.

06/11/2025: A beautiful restaurant with delicious food, and the staff are excellent at explaining things and making recommendations. The only thing the service could improve is this: We ordered a low-priced wine that wasn't available. The alternative wine offered was almost twice as expensive; perhaps this could have been mentioned. However, it tasted good, and that's what matters most.

15/03/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance, and upon entering, we found a tastefully renovated establishment. We received a very warm welcome from the charming owner. The food was delicious, and the chef-owner cooked the fish to perfection. We had a wonderful time and have already booked for the day after tomorrow. It deserves a recommendation, perhaps even a Bib Gourmand. Thank you.

09/03/2026: Last Saturday, my wife and I decided to try this historic restaurant in our city, and it was a wonderful discovery! The location is typical of the historic center, very charming. The service is very professional and welcoming. The cuisine is predominantly local but with a touch of modern flair, using quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The chef is truly skilled because he knows how to showcase the dishes without giving in to the temptation to overdo it, pairing the flavors perfectly. We chose the five-course tasting menu and couldn't have made a better choice. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we can't wait to come back :)

23/03/2026: A wonderful experience. Beyond the quality of the dishes, the staff's sensitivity and passion are evident. At first glance, it might seem like a place that makes you feel uncomfortable, but in reality, the pampering and kind attention truly makes you feel at home. As a celiac, this is worth its weight in gold; the discomfort of having to eat out has completely vanished. Everything was perfect.

06/04/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Tocco D'oro restaurant, led by chef Riccardo Cilia. Culinary identity and a deep connection to the local area, with a menu deeply rooted in Sicilian roots, with a touch of innovation and freshness, yet never banal. I had the pleasure of dining with my partner, enjoying a seven-course tasting menu chosen by the chef. A 100% positive experience, I highly recommend it. Excellent cuisine, courteous and attentive service. A special mention goes to the calamari alla amatriciana. I had a great time, and we'll be back.

22/03/2026: Everything was perfect: an elegant restaurant, impeccable service, evidently high-quality ingredients (fish), top-notch preparation, and a superb dessert finale. Update: Tocco d'Oro is now part of the history of Comiso's restaurant scene. The restaurant's vitality, meticulous attention to detail in selecting ingredients, and superb service are guaranteed by the renowned passion of its leader and founder, and by a well-established tradition, now revived by the young "heir" Riccardo Cilia. You can sense the renewal, but without any upheavals. The pizzas, for example, are undeniable. The standard of the rich selection of desserts has been confirmed. I won't dwell on the quality of the rest, which has remained unchanged over the decades.

I recommend finishing with dessert; we loved the meringue pavlova. Compliments to Mr. Lorenzo's daughter for how she manages the restaurant. I'd also like to add that I found her to be very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. We'll definitely be back.
