Excellent service and very friendly staff. Fair prices considering the quality of the fish. I hope to return soon.

08/03/2026: This restaurant is located in the central square of Mazara del Vallo, just steps from the Dancing Satyr Museum. The elegantly furnished restaurant offers a culinary journey of excellent quality and locally sourced ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

28/03/2026: The I Frati Rossi restaurant was a delightful discovery. For an evening with friends, we chose an excellent seafood tasting menu. The menu started very promisingly with two appetizers: amberjack and salmon carpaccio, artichokes, and bottarga. Next up were seafood and truffle ravioli and grouper paccheri, all delicious. For the main course, a mixed fried platter of shrimp, calamari, fish, and mixed vegetables. Delicious, especially because it was so light! To finish, dessert: meringue and strawberry ice cream. We will definitely be back to try the à la carte menu.

It was an impeccable experience in every way. Superior quality meat: You can immediately taste the careful selection of raw materials. The meat is incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A true delight for the palate. Impeccable service: The staff is extremely attentive, professional, and friendly. I felt pampered from start to finish, with perfect wait times. Elegant location: The restaurant is meticulously designed, creating a welcoming and classy atmosphere. Ideal for both a romantic dinner and a special occasion. Attention to intolerances: A special mention goes to the availability of lactose-free desserts; it's rare to find such delicious and refined options for those with specific dietary needs. 03/01/2026: Highly recommended for lunch near the Strozzi Palace and the Uffizi Gallery. Excellent pasta, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Home-style, family-run food. The tagliatelle with pesto was wonderful, and the gnocchi with tomato sauce was also very good. We didn't take pictures of the main courses, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. Prices are typical for the area; not cheap, but not expensive either. Perhaps the best value for money we found in our four days in Florence. We were there a few days ago and didn't want to miss the opportunity to write a review. Thank you.

30/03/2026: This restaurant was the best restaurant I have ever been to the food was very cheap and tasted AMAZING. the workers were so so kind to us giving us student discounts as they knew we were young, the restaurant was peaceful in a nice chilled atmosphere and the food was the best ever with large portions i couldn’t even finish but luckily they let me take home to have for later. I would seriously reccomend this place

04/04/2026: A good place with excellent value. We had scialatielli allo scoglio and linguine with clams, both excellent. The main courses were good. The restaurant is slightly out of the city center, but I would recommend it.

31/10/2025: Really lovely food and we accidentally ordered a cheese dish and told them to charge us since we thought it was pasta but they said it’s okay and didn’t charge us. But all of the food was amazing and definitely worth it. The staff was amazing and super sweet. They kept checking on the heating as well.

04/04/2026: We ordered one portion of tiramisu to go and they gave us one piece the size of a lady finger (without telling us) and they made fun about it in front of us thinking we wouldn't be able to understand them. Maybe being rude and disrespectful is an Italian thing though.

The restaurant was beautifully designed for a young birthday celebration, but I would also recommend it for couples' events (Valentine's Day and anniversaries), family graduation lunches, baptisms, and confirmations. Recommended for those looking for an Italian restaurant: the tablecloths and handkerchiefs are still made of cloth.
