The best food we had in all of Italy! We dined in amazing restaurants across Rome, Venice, Naples, and Positano—but this was our favorite by far. We loved it so much we had lunch here on our first day in Praiano, I came back the next day for their cooking class (which I absolutely loved!), and we ended our stay with dinner on our last night—it was that good. Simone, who runs the restaurant and teaches the classes, is the best in every sense of the word. His warmth, passion, and attention to detail truly elevate the entire experience. Add in the beautiful view, and you have an unforgettable meal. Authentic Italian cuisine, top-quality ingredients, and heart in every dish—just go! Ps: I’m gluten free and they have the best gluten free pasta ever!!!

Best meal and experience on the coast! So thankful we were told to try this spot by our driver from our hotel (Piccolo Sant’Andrea). My fish dish was AMAZING! Being sung to was AMAZING! We just had the best time ever. Can’t wait to come back someday!

Had a lovely dinner tonight. Beautiful entrees (squid and potatoes, and pumpkin flan) and mains (pasta). Lovely atmosphere and service. Will be back.

We had dinner at this restaurant as a couple. It's a beautiful location overlooking Positano. We ate divinely. The dinner was enlivened and enlivened with music by the delightful Antonio, an added bonus to this already beautiful location.

This is hands down the best restaurant we went to in Praiano, Capri, or Amalfi. We had a 6:15 reservation to watch the 6:30 pm sunset, which was incredible. The owners Antonio and Rafaelle are very lively and hospitable. Appetizers: We got the caprese, which came with 3 cheeses, and octopus, which was the most tender we’ve ever had and not chewy. Pasta: We got the tuna and pistachio pasta, fish cannelloni, and ricotta and zucchini ravioli. All were amazing, but you *absolutely* must get the tuna and pistachio pasta. Meats: Italian steak, lamb, prawns, and sea bass fillet - all really amazing, but highly recommend the lamb. Dessert: We got their homemade tiramisu and the pistachio pie. Amazing tiramisu. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone. It’s a must visit when in Praiano. Everything is well done and the atmosphere was classic Italian.

From being picked up at our hotel by none less than the owner, all the way through to the return journey afterwards, we had the most memorable night at Il Pino. It has a very family run feel, which is great! The service was brilliant and not only efficient but full of laughs and chats. The food was outstanding! One of the best meals we had on our Amalfi leg. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more and we will certainly be back if we visit Praiano again.

Il Pino is an absolute gem of a restaurant. The owner, his father, and the wait staff create an intimate environment that makes you feel like part of the family. The view over the Mediterranean Sea and Positano is breathtaking. And the quality of the cocktails, wine, and food was exceptional. It was one of the very best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Italy!

My husband and I visited in July. Staying in Praiano for our Honeymoon was the best idea because of places like this. Immediately we were welcomed like family. The view was phenomenal. Our server was Kasia or Karolina (sorry). She was a lovely Polish woman and she was very sweet! There was an older gentleman that was so sweet. I do not know if he was the owner or a worker but he was going table to table welcoming everyone and it was just great. This truly felt like a fine dining experience. The food was so fresh. The presentation was amazing. The wine was delicious. The seafood was some of the best and as a Floridian that is a big compliment! I am counting down the days until we return to Praiano. This will be our first stop again!

If you can you should go here. Amazing local, fresh and homemade food. Atmosphere is amazing, they keep you engaged and you laugh alot during dinner, you sing along etc. Food was to die for. We had caprese salad, stuffed artichoke, raviolli with zuchini and beef tagliata. I couldn’t choose wich dish i liked better. We finished with classic tiramisu. Would come back to amalfi coast just for this restaurant.

10/12/2025: It was a flawless meal. The paper-wrapped vongole is a must-try. This is my seventh day in Italy, and so far, it's the best restaurant I've ever had. It was even better because it had parking, which is rare in this area, and I was really touched that they guided me to my car when I left. If I ever come back here again, I'll definitely come back. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I visited again after two years, and the vongole was still the best. I actually wasn't a huge fan of vongole, and I've tried Choi Hyun-seok's vongole in Korea, but I can't say it compares to this place. I'd definitely visit again if I were to return, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area. I ordered the course again this time and was satisfied, but I really wanted to order two bowls of vongole. The bread before the meal was also really delicious.
