19/05/2025: Pranzo di festa di compleanno di un amico. Location fantastica Servizio impeccabile, coccolati dall arrivo alla fine giornata. Cibo e vini di altissimo livello dall aperitivo in terrazza al pranzo nella magnifica sala interna. Vele tutto ciò che costa. Complimenti famiglia Cerea avete creato un luogo semplicemente MAGICO

05/05/2025: Va da sé che la location è bellissima, elegante e curata. Il cibo, in generale, è ad alti livelli, ma nulla trasmette sensazioni fuori dall'ordinario (vista la categoria del ristorante). All'arrivo, almeno una dozzina di persone ci hanno dato il benvenuto a raffica: una situazione confusionale, un po' sopra le righe, lontana dalla cortese e compìta professionalità che ci si attendeva. In due si sono affrettati a proporci scampi freschi da abbinare all'aperitivo, che abbiamo limitato a 2 calici di Franciacorta. Il menu degustazione scelto prevedeva 16 portate. La partenza è stata a razzo, con ritiro dei piatti appena liberi e domanda sul gradimento posta a bocca ancora piena (letteralmente). Non c'è stato modo di dire 2 parole tra di noi, perché i piatti arrivavano in sequenza rapidissima, tant'è che abbiamo deciso di rallentare noi, lasciando metà porzione sul piatto, in modo da poter respirare, ma con pochi risultati. Il servizio è durato 3 ore. Capisco la posizione dei camerieri, che avrebbero voluto smontare, ma, se sai che il servizio dura così a lungo, pur velocizzato, o dai un limite per l'orario di arrivo dei clienti, o riduci a 9-10 le portate, anche perché alcuni piatti erano simili. Con sorpresa, ci hanno servito i famosi paccheri. Al nostro stupore, il cameriere ha affermato che sono compresi in tutti i menu, ma sulla carta risultano solo inclusi nel menu di pesce. Era talmente tardi che non ci sono stati serviti il dessert, i confetti ed i cioccolatini, però lo staff ha trovato il tempo per proporci i formaggi, con un costo aggiuntivo, in quanto non compresi nel menu. L'abbinamento vini, merita un discorso a parte, perché, dopo i primi 3, è stato servito un Grignolino imbevibile, quasi marrone, con un terribile gusto di alcol e senza alcun aroma. Segnalato, hanno minimizzato incolpando un bicchiere forse non adatto e la nostra poca familiarità con vini simili. Risposta, se non altro, fuori luogo. Anche gli ultimi calici, parevano vini aperti da troppi giorni. Totale 1162 euro.

18/04/2025: I visited this restaurant with my daughters while traveling from Rome to La Spezia. And it was a great experience, the food was excellent and great admiration for the owner, she managed everything herself. I will definitely stop here for a meal when I visit Tuscany again.

01/04/2025: Nel cuore del centro storico di Grosseto, il ristorante Grantosco è una vera perla di raffinatezza e qualità. L’atmosfera elegante e accogliente crea il contesto perfetto per un’esperienza gastronomica unica, dove ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli. La signora Camelia, con la sua passione e professionalità, delizia gli ospiti con creazioni culinarie straordinarie. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaporare un baccalà mantecato su vellutata di patate, una carbonara Grantosco dal sapore intenso e avvolgente, e una spigola dalla cottura perfetta, morbida e saporita, che ha conquistato il palato di (un Catanese) un amante del pesce come me. Il servizio è impeccabile, la carta dei vini ben selezionata e adatta a ogni portata. E per concludere in bellezza, il dolce Gran Forchetta è stato una vera sorpresa: un’esplosione di sapori che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più memorabile.

13/04/2025: A meal at this restaurant is special. The composition of the dishes and the spices used are actually on the level of a star cuisine. In keeping with the house's motto, "Gourmet for everyone", the food is served to guests in a very unpretentious manner. We had three courses plus dessert, some to share, namely Vitellone Tonnato, then Ravioli Plin Galina and Risotto Milanese, then Kakiage, finally Sorbetto and Cioccolato Fondente. An exceptional taste in every dish on the menu. The service and atmosphere were calm and pleasant.

11/05/2025: This was a fantastic experience with delicious mozzarella and oil tasting as well as the pizza making class. Of course, eating the pizza after the class was wonderful! Luigi, Maria and all of the staff were lovely.

20/05/2025: We were a group of nine people, consisting of two families, and were lucky enough to even get a table – without a prior reservation, it would have been impossible. We were seated in the "winter garden," and it quickly became clear that we weren't part of the usual clientele. The parking lot was rapidly filling up with luxury cars, and the restaurant teemed with well-heeled customers. The service was generally attentive, but unfortunately, despite communicating in Italian, there were some obvious misunderstandings. This started with the aperitif: We were refused a Campari soda because it wasn't on the menu. All the ingredients were available – it would have been easy to fulfill our request. The biggest discrepancies, however, occurred with the food: The adults had ordered appetizers, while the children were supposed to receive their main courses at the same time to avoid waiting. Instead, all the main courses arrived together, and the appetizers arrived shortly after. When we asked, we received only the brief explanation: "The pizzaiolo is faster than the kitchen." Such miscoordination simply cannot happen, regardless of who sets the pace in the kitchen! The pizza itself was a bit bland in taste, but the food was otherwise fine, and the portion sizes were appropriate for the kids. By the time we were finished, we clearly felt that our time was up. It seemed as if our satisfaction was secondary to the desire to generate the next sale.

We are really satisfied with the quality of the food, the value for money and the atmosphere of the place. We recommend booking for the risk of not being postponed to the next one because it's worth it. The owner kindly shows their menu and the daily proposals, explaining the typical dishes or their best ones so you have a clear idea of ​​what you are going to order. The capun magro, the carabaccia risotto and the tuna deserve special mention, as they were truly special, prepared with fresh ingredients and studied combinations. You will spend pleasant hours here, feeling at home. Don't miss the experience if you pass through these parts.

19/04/2025: Really nice place, quiet environment. The only flaw is the welcome... We arrive in the evening to celebrate an event, we will be eight people in total. My husband and I arrive at 9pm, the other couple arrives an hour later... We sat for an hour looking around, no waiter approached us to ask us if we needed anything, even a simple glass of water. In a respectable venue this shouldn't have happened.

Ownership and staff are attentive, thoughtful, professional and able to immediately create empathy with guests. Value for money suitable for the location and offer. Absolutely recommended!
