I had the pleasure of organizing a fun dinner with my dads at this fantastic Ostricheria. I'd never been there, but I'd heard about it several times in the area, so we decided to make a reservation. Let me start by saying that we had a large table of about 16 people and that we were offered a menu beforehand (which we accepted). The menu allowed us to have a fixed price per person and also facilitated the kitchen service (not easy with such large tables).
We obviously started with the oysters, which were truly delicious, fresh, and flavorful. For those who don't like oysters, they offered a Catalan-style shrimp appetizer.
The first courses we were offered were truly each better than the last, and it wasn't easy to choose. I can speak for the ones I ate, which were spaghetti with bottarga, scallop tartare, and caramelized celery. The idea and attention to detail of serving the caramelized celery in a separate bowl was a good one. I honestly added it all, and the dish was truly excellently balanced. Next, we had two house musts: the mussels marinara and the mussels with gorgonzola. We were all skeptical about these, but we all changed our minds after tasting them. Both were excellent in quality and flavor, but the gorgonzola ones were truly a different beast, AMAZING. Finally, we had the bitter coffee and sorbet.
All this to say, it was a truly enjoyable evening, with excellent food, good wine, and truly remarkable kindness and attention to detail from the staff, especially the two owners, Francesco and Livio. Definitely worth a try for a group dinner or a tête-à-tête. The price was absolutely in line with what we ate.

An intimate restaurant with a familiar and romantic atmosphere. As soon as you enter, the inviting aroma of the food, the French bistro-style decor, and the overall atmosphere make you feel transported to a small seaside village on the French Riviera. The dishes are simple yet flavorful. The raw fish and mussels are fantastic, the restaurant's true highlights, and are ideally paired with a fine glass of Chablis. The staff is friendly and genuine. I highly recommend it!

Excellent place for raw fish and refined seafood dishes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent wine list. The portions are large enough to order two dishes each and a lovely selection of mussels to share. My only suggestion is the samphire, which is incredibly fresh and could have been desalted better. A good selection of French liqueurs is also available. Street parking is difficult, but there's affordable paid parking nearby.

A wonderful experience. The place is welcoming, with lovely people.
The staff is always kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. The quality of the food is incredible...all the raw fish is so fresh, we never wanted it to run out. The quality/price ratio is absolutely excellent. We'll definitely be back!

I haven't been here in at least 15 years, but I've been at least a dozen times. I'm pleased, from the reviews I read, that it hasn't changed a bit. The food (not to mention the oysters), service, and atmosphere are excellent. Keep up the good work, I hope to return soon.

A charming little restaurant where the seafood isn't reassuringly routine, but rather daringly high quality. The oysters are excellent, but it's in the contrast with the mussels in gorgonzola that the flavors take a turn, going off the rails. A savory and thoughtful dissonance that's unforgettable. The delicious warm octopus with potatoes, accompanied by Taggiasca olives and homemade mayonnaise, is also exceptional. Service is lively yet professional, under the confident direction of owner Francesco.
