Wonderful stay, super friendly and professional staff. Location is perfect, right on the beach and close to restaurants and amenities. A true 5 star hotel! Great atmosphere, very lively and top service from reception and all staff. We will be back

Beginning to end Buca di Bacco was a magical and absolutely ten star experience! The room was elegant, clean and comfortable. The views from dining area and room were spectacular. The staff is joyful, accommodating and helpful. Always with a smile! I wish I could live here forever. A most beautiful experience. Highly highly recommend!

Everything about this hotel makes you feel fully immersed in the beauty of Positano. Besides being located literally on the beach and offering stunning views of both the sea and the coast, its newly renovated rooms are SO charming. But if I am being truly honest, I think this hotel is even more emblematic because of its people. Vincenzo and Giovani were attending us at breakfast, very smiley, extremely attentive and very vigilant to assist at every given moment. It was a pleasure having them around. The cleaning ladies, though unfortunately I didn’t get their names, left our rooms impeccable with every touchup. And at check in/out, the front desk team ensure that we get the best welcome and send off we have had in a while at any hotel. One thing is for sure, the people here enjoy what they do, and that makes the stay so enjoyable. HIGHLY recommend this beautiful hotel. I would return in a heartbeat.

Overall I’m leaving a 3 star rating. Objectively, the hotel itself is a 10/10. The location is truly unbeatable, the property is beautiful, and so much of the service was top-tier. We had a wedding there and spent thousands of dollars a night, so I expected an elevated guest experience. Unfortunately, the front door/security experience really soured the stay. There was a consistent feeling of judgment, like we were being monitored or treated as if we were doing something wrong. I had to explain who was coming to my room, and guests were required to show ID. When I mentioned I might leave early, staff pressured me to commit to having someone take my bags; then when I left earlier for a different car, they seemed upset with me. That’s what makes this review so difficult. The hotel and much of the staff were amazing, but the front door experience felt disrespectful and condescending. We were never loud, rude, or a problem, yet at times we felt treated like second-class guests rather than paying guests. I’m genuinely torn between giving five stars for the hotel itself and zero stars for how we were made to feel. The property is exceptional, but the judgmental treatment at the entrance was deeply disappointing

We loved everything about this hotel! Beautiful rooms, great location, and excellent service. The staff was so welcoming. The breakfast on the terrace in the morning is the perfect way to start your day in Positano. I highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again. Molto Bene!
