01/11/2025: We didn't live here, we were on a trip and this was the only one open. It was getting dark and we were freezing and needed to go to the toilet. We ordered hot chocolate, some with whipped (sprayed) cream and some cold tea (strange given the situation, I know). The chocolate was exactly what you would expect, like a good ciobar, no more, no less. The cream for us Swedes, including my wife who is Italian, was unfortunately "pollice verso" or in today's standard language 👎. But really not anything other than expected. Sweetened cream from a spray can. Other than that perfect, slowly lightly whipped Irish coffee cream, maybe for me with a small pinch of sugar, but not that much at all. I think it cost a little over €30. Not cheap, so we didn't eat anything, but it's the same or slightly lower than in a Swedish café? The toilet was clean and I think everything worked. The view was amazing, looking across the Po Plain to the Emilian mountains. The place felt like it was at least a hundred years old and didn't look like it had been renovated, even though it was well maintained. It fit in well with the rest of the small mountaintop community, like something out of a movie or novel.

31/10/2025: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Appalling service!!! Unpleasant staff with absolutely no sense of service or hospitality. We sat on an open terrace, but no one came to assist us, even though the waiter inside had seen us sit down. After 10 minutes, my 13-year-old daughter went to order drinks and asked for the restroom. The waiter replied in a very rude tone that he didn't serve on the terrace, which was, in fact, open. My husband went back with my daughter, who, as a result, hadn't dared to use the restroom. She was refused access; we had to order something first, which is what we had wanted to do from the start! We left. It's a shame, despite this lack of professionalism, hospitality, smiles, and friendliness. The view was lovely.

29/09/2025: The coffee is also good... A smile is priceless. Dislike reigns supreme here. I hope it's just a one-off thing.

26/08/2025: Clean and welcoming, with plenty of seating inside and out... Wide selection of coffee-based preparations and various creams (chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio, etc.) Retail sale of sweets. They do not offer table service outside. They do serve aperitifs. Recommended. P.S. It would be nice to ban smoking even in the gazebo outside the restaurant, where you can enjoy it with the whole family, including children. In any case, they always serve excellent croissants; it's always nice to come back for a great breakfast with truly fresh products. I recommend it.

03/10/2025: Everything was excellent, we had a great time, the staff were very polite and always available. Takeout was also great, the service was top-notch! They're the best in the area!! The food was delicious 💕

27/09/2025: I don't know if the positive reviews are written by themselves or if the people who come here have never been to sushi; the place is extremely crowded, the food is poor quality, and above all, SLOW. We arrived at 12:50, and the water arrived at 1:30; as for the "food," I'll leave you to guess. €46 for two for a two-hour wait, and for subpar food. In the province of Varese, it's undoubtedly the worst.

21/10/2025: It's been years since I've had such terrible sushi. I knew I was going to a terrible restaurant based on its reputation, but a large birthday party convinced me. I've seen people spitting out smelly tuna gunkan; I personally woke up vomiting. Be wary! It's truly disgusting; I don't know how it's still in business.

24/07/2025: A simple place with generous and tasty sandwiches. After you order, a friendly little robot brings your sandwiches and drinks to your table. Prices are reasonable, and you can customize your sandwich. 👍🏻

04/07/2025: The sandwiches are excellent both with tartare and fish, quality and fresh ingredients. The bread is a little sweet, I would have preferred maybe the sesame one. The chips were a little scarce in quantity, even a few more would have been fine. The prices are high but once in a while it's okay. The dishes are brought to the table by a "robot" the orders are taken by the staff.

01/10/2025: A restaurant where I really enjoyed both the fast and attentive table service and the excellent quality of the food. The fish was fresh and the dishes were well-prepared. The atmosphere was clean and elegant. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back. A great discovery. I will be back.

05/10/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, and the welcome was truly warm and friendly. The food, alas, was forgettable. The tourist menu costed €18 (there was nothing else) and consisted of: industrial polenta with a hint of gorgonzola, steak (?) barely 4 or 5 millimeters thick, inevitably served in an overcooked "shoe sole" version, a side of potatoes and peppers floating soullessly in a watery liquid that was perhaps meant to be the cooking juices. A fine place (are we sure?) for a passing worker's hasty lunch break. Absolutely unsuitable for a Sunday on the lake with the family.

12/09/2025: How did this restaurant get a 4.5-star rating? It's completely unjustified. The very small menu offered the tourist menu for €18. The pasta starter was okay, but the main course was simply bad and oily. The kitchen opens at 6:30 p.m. We arrived at 6:20 p.m. and were given strange looks. We were served at 6:35 p.m., even though we were the only customers. It wasn't clean, and it reeked of smoke. Despite the friendly waiter, we didn't feel comfortable here. For us, this was anything but an authentic Italian restaurant serving home-style cooking. A real disappointment!

29/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, very fair prices, very kind and friendly owner, we didn't have to wait long and the food was delicious! We didn't have any problems whatsoever.

15/10/2025: ...since it's a Saturday night, out of caution and habit, I booked for two.... Let me start by saying that the place is family-run, and that alone is enough for me. The staff are very friendly and helpful, you're escorted to your table, there are separate menus, refreshments, pizzas, and drinks. Table service is available from order to order, with reasonable waiting times. The food is excellent and the portions are just right. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from meat to fish, and drinks and desserts are consistent with a local restaurant. Obviously, it all depends on what you order and drink. The atmosphere is pleasant, and you can also eat outside. My wife and I will DEFINITELY be back, hopefully soon. ...I almost forgot to mention it, but I found the bar and tobacconist service very useful, given that the place is opposite the station... they have it all. Thanks for a lovely evening.
