01/01/2025: Considering that it was December 31st and there was no possibility of having dinner, we decided (on their advice) to eat pizza. Upon our arrival they 'reserved' a table for 4 people, too bad there were 7 of us, consequently in addition to being cramped, the seating was closed between two walls, we kindly asked to have another table but it was not granted even though the room was empty.!!!!! I thought that given the evening they would involve us in waiting for the new year, instead nothing and not even the kindness of offering a simple slice of panettone!!!!

22/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato all'interno, ambiente carino con tavoli non troppo vicini,vista tetto in legno,come negli chalet di montagna.All'ingresso il personale dedicato ti accompagna al tuo tavolo e ti fa accomodare, dopo averti fornito velocemente il menù, raccoglie il tuo ordinativo e dopo 1 minuto arriva con offerta gratuita di un piccolo antipasto( fettina di melanzana in aceto con caprino) per ingannare l'attesa. Piatti buoni, quantità generosa, buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Attenzione del personale alta!! Quattro stelle solo perché è la prima volta che ci vado...verificheremo l' assiduità di quanto scritto...ma intanto...CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!

03/05/2025: Il Veliero – Castellanza: good food, welcoming atmosphere, but a few flaws to point out The Il Veliero Pizzeria Restaurant in Castellanza presents itself with a familiar, well-kept and pleasantly informal environment. The service is courteous and attentive, and the menu offers a good variety of dishes, including traditional and fish-based options. The first courses, in particular, are well executed and the fish is fresh and cooked with care. However, there are some notes for improvement. First of all, the pizza is not entirely convincing: thin and sometimes difficult to digest dough, unbalanced toppings and cooking that is not always uniform. It's not the house's strong point, and those looking for excellent pizza may be disappointed. Another important flaw concerns the prices, which appear slightly above average for the type of cuisine offered. The quality is good, but the value for money could be more balanced. During our visit, we also happened to be placed near a very noisy table, probably a group celebrating a birthday. It is understandable that there are customers who want to celebrate with enthusiasm, but it would be desirable, when possible, to differentiate the rooms: on the one hand those looking for a quiet meal and on the other those who are there for a more lively special occasion. This would improve the experience for everyone. In summary: Il Veliero is a pleasant restaurant, with honest cuisine and friendly service. Good for a dinner with friends or family, especially if you choose fish. However, we recommend that the management pay more attention to the organization of the spaces and the pricing policy, to offer an even more balanced and satisfying experience.

12/05/2025: Super good! Super fresh! Ordering system via a tablet which means that the wait is not too long. I recommend the shrimp skewers! They were super well seasoned! The only downside I would say is perhaps the welcome. The restaurant was really full!

13/04/2025: Bright, spacious and relaxing environment, there are plenty of seats; spacious table and well spaced from the other tables, there are no gymkhanas between tables to move if you have to go out or go to the bathroom; the chairs are also quite comfortable. You order with a tablet. Friendly and fast service, the food is also very good. Kind welcome, we went on Saturday for lunch without booking and they had no problem giving us 5 seats without waiting. Honest price for the "all you can eat" menu, perhaps the drinks and extra menu items are too expensive. The miso soup (only negative note) needs to be reviewed. For the rest all is well. I'll be back.

01/02/2025: I have known this pastry shop for more than ten years, I have always taken every cake for every birthday and every dessert for every event from them and I have never had any disappointments. As always I give them some indications and carte blanche and they always surprise me when they prepare cakes and desserts for me and my family. Super good and soft panettone and colomba. I also commissioned my wedding cake! Space! Well done!

31/05/2025: We have been going to this pizzeria for years, always good and impeccable but paying 1€ less for a baby pizza and finding it like this we really didn't expect. This review is a tip for those who want to buy it, if you want a baby pizza this is what you will get (6€ of pizza). Size, those of a small pizza bought at a baker.

24/04/2025: Pessima esperienza. Mio marito ha chiesto di persona una pizza senza lattosio e ci è stato detto che loro usano solo mozzarella senza lattosio. Quando è tornato a casa ho telefonato per capire se è davvero così, anche per acquisti futuri, e mi hanno detto invece che la loro mozzarella ha sempre il lattosio, ha risposto il titolare. Abbiamo buttato la pizza perché chi è intollerante STA MALE. Non si fa così. La correttezza e la salute dei clienti deve venire prima del profitto .

09/04/2025: Vorrei ma non posso. Finta bella presentazione dei piatti ma in pratica senza sostanza. Tanti ingredienti e molto confusi, tentativi di orientalizzare il piatto senza alcun significato. 23/03/2025: Located in the middle of the Varesina state road, the elegant structure stands behind a sumptuous wrought iron gate. This restaurant is housed in a sumptuous residence dating back to around the second half of the 19th century. The interesting combination of history and modernity reigns supreme. Formal welcome by a very kind waitress, who offers an unusual and very welcome tasting of the oil produced by the owners in Val D'Orcia. A tasty and unexpected aperitif was also offered, which pleasantly served as a prelude to a wonderful dinner. The chef, worthy of the most renowned starred cuisines, born to satisfy the most sophisticated palates with delicate dishes, delicious to the eye and which lead the palate straight to ecstasy. White reigns, the dominant color both in the internal room and in the external patio, here in contrast with a pleasantly dated flooring with dark notes of brown. The structure is surrounded by greenery, so much so that the presence of the road on the outside is forgotten. My need for gluten- and lactose-free cuisine was largely satisfied without the slightest hesitation, without detracting from the flavor and beauty of the dishes. There is free parking outside on the opposite side of the road and the possibility of parking inside the structure. Three steps to access the entrance. I recommend, if you don't have one, a small platform for disabled people and strollers. For those looking for a quiet, elegant and romantic location, I highly recommend it. 27/04/2025: During a bike ride we randomly stopped for a break as it was open despite the hour (many pastry shops take an afternoon break). Excellent shacked coffee with delicious mignon, excellent prices and courtesy. Beautiful location and beautiful places.

07/01/2025: Pretty good pizza. Ample parking if customers used the ones in front of the school and did not park as they happen to (on the side of the road, on the pedestrian crossing and wherever their imagination suggests). However recommended.
