01/08/2026: Today, on the last day of our visit to Lake Garda, we found the best restaurant in the area. At Mario's, you can get everything! Delicious pasta for the kids and incredibly tasty pizza. The best part was the service. Where others just put down their cans and leave, here, after a warm welcome, the service really gets going. Glasses are turned upside down, and one was even replaced without a word because the waiter had apparently noticed a speck of dirt. Here, they pour your drinks for you! They served complimentary pizza bread, which we unfortunately ate all of, and I even neglected the delicious main course, the Pizza Prosciutto, because of it. The service is incredibly attentive and always there when needed. Traditionally, the pasta comes with plenty of(!) white bread, as well as a generous amount of Parmesan cheese (not rationed like elsewhere) and sun-dried tomatoes. After the truly affordable meal, they even offered complimentary lemon sorbet – absolutely delicious and a fantastic touch. ... If this weren't our last day of vacation, we would come back more often – definitely again when we're in the area. Thank you so much for the great service!
