You can't evaluate a place "in absolute terms," ​​but rather put it into context. This restaurant is a leap into the past, when people would take trips out to eat. A place evocative of times gone by. Located in a kind of oasis, facing the Naviglio Grande, the silence broken only by the rushing water and the rustling of bicycles. Even the view of the chimneys of the Turbigo power plant seems to blend in with the landscape. You can dine under the pergola, in the cool air and with the very kind and attentive staff. Very good food and reasonable prices. I recommend booking, otherwise you risk not being able to eat.

Truly superb hospitality and service. We requested lobster off the menu, and the result was amazing. Besides eating well, you feel truly pampered. The wine list features fair markups, and the final bill was more than fair. Thanks to the wonderful Beatrice and Michela, and we're also pleased to mention the efficient and courteous Fatima.

Highly recommended! Absolutely fresh seafood. Really very friendly staff 🔝 A bit outside of Milan, but easily accessible. Private parking. The Plateau Royal is almost like the ones in France. 👍🏻

La Baitella in Cucina

04/05/2026: After months, we returned to La Baitella, where the service was the same, delicious dishes carefully prepared and served with kindness by a blonde lady with a sweet smile. It's now our favorite restaurant in Cinisello! Thanks to La Baitella!
24/04/2026: Dinner with friends. It was a wonderful discovery. It's a family-run restaurant. Monica, Stefano, and their son are incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the dishes they serve. The products they use (cured meats, cheeses, etc.) are carefully selected and of the highest quality. The location is welcoming and warm, perfect for conversation. Last but not least... the quality/price ratio is TOP!!
