14/05/2026: The pizza was good, I didn't realize Maxi was so big and I took half a pizza back to my accommodation. Guys, order the smallest ones, they're about 30 cm. Maxi is a monster, see picture.

27/11/2025: I went to Winny's bar for the class party. The owner is a great guy, and you can tell right away that he loves his job by the way he treats his customers. I don't know why, but Luca's place feels like home. ❤️💪Keep it up, you're great! 😉

04/05/2026: In mid-April, after a roughly three-hour train journey, we arrived at Como San Giovanni station and, with our rolling suitcases, set off towards the old town, where our hotel was located, navigating potholed sidewalks and bumpy cobblestones. Thirsty and craving a little refreshment, the shady terrace of the Krudo restaurant seemed like a godsend: fresh air, plenty of space for our luggage – just what we needed for this moment of arrival. We shared a portion of avocado bruschetta with a refreshing Crodino and mineral water. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel instantly welcome. Both the drinks and the food were to our liking, although we would have preferred a bit more seasoning and a little less balsamic vinegar on the bruschetta. So there we sat, content and a little relieved to have finally arrived in Como – delighted with this first, uncomplicated place that had given us such a warm welcome.

03/05/2026: The cocktails were great, the staff was friendly and very welcoming. The food was delicious and we didn’t need to wait long. We even went back after out boat tour for a second round of drinks.

02/06/2026: I walked in and immediately ordered pizzas to go. The wait was short and almost silent except for the usual kitchen noises. There are always tables available. Takeout pizza at a very low cost.

11/03/2026: Wonderful place, my only regret is not having discovered it sooner. A real gem. The atmosphere is very refined and intimate, you're welcomed like a guest, and the attention to the food is beyond ordinary. The menu features dishes like "elephant ear" (which I'll definitely try again) or other traditional dishes like rice with perch, but... their signature dish is chicken (we're not talking about chickens from intensive farms, but local ones), and we also enjoyed trying the pasta with clams and bottarga. The quality-price ratio is strongly influenced by the quality. It's quickly becoming one of the places I'll recommend to friends and acquaintances to make a good impression. Congratulations!

11/10/2025: 5-star luxury? At Uncle Pippo's Shack Osteria, these things don't happen. €52 for two drinks, and we were served an aperitif with this spoon. I was both indignant and disgusted at the same time. It's out of the question to find these things in a place that claims to be 5-star luxury. On the verge of calling the NAS, I left with €50 less and feeling nauseous, because I realized afterwards that the spoon was dirty, even though I was using it at the beginning!!! DON'T GO THERE.

05/03/2026: Excellent restaurant-osteria. The menu is compact but varied and well-defined. The dishes were carefully prepared and beautifully served. It was an excellent accompaniment to a beautiful, long, and delicious evening with friends.

11/12/2025: Simply disgraceful rooms. I booked a double room for my parents who needed to stay overnight before undergoing surgery at the nearby orthopedic hospital. Although the person who answered the phone, who I assume is the owner, fully understood it was a DOUBLE room for a husband and wife, she decided to assign them a room with two tiny single beds and an embarrassing "bathroom" with no shower other than a faucet and a pine cone on the floor. After complaining, they deigned to change their room for an equally embarrassing room with at least a double bed. I have never felt so uncomfortable towards those who have had to stay in this ridiculous establishment, run by total profiteers.

11/12/2025: We booked a double room only to find ourselves in a cramped, tiny room with two hideous single beds. The bedside table? A plastic stool. The worst part was the bathroom, with no shower!!! A pine cone in the floor and a faucet sticking out of the wall. Disgraceful, shameful. The owner truly has no sense of shame. The entire place is incredibly old, freezing, and dark. I'm shocked by those who left positive reviews. After complaints, we were moved to another room, equally hideous and dirty, covered in dust EVERYWHERE, with old, dirty, and torn blankets and sheets. We had to eat something there for dinner and ended up with two pathetic, cold plates, priced at €15 each for four pieces of cheese and two slices of bresaola.
