10/09/2025: Really delicious pizza! There was one customer who spoke English, and he was friendly. He immediately asked if he needed to explain what the menu meant. It was also no problem to add things to or remove from the pizza. We only paid €8 for a fairly large pizza. Highly recommended!

27/08/2025: Ordered takeout kebabs 800 meters away from the pizzeria. Arrived an hour late, with cold, subpar meat and arugula inside. The vegetables were subpar, and when we called, the staff responded by saying the delivery man had left. Twenty minutes later, he showed up, leaving us waiting almost an hour in total. Terrible experience.
28/05/2025: I'm giving you one star only because I ALWAYS order pizza with chips, but you can barely see the chips. If you put more, it would be awesome. But the pizza is good

Very nice waiter who spoke very good English.
The view is good – despite being in the second row.
The pizza was okay.
Cons:
We had to pay €10 for our child for plain pasta (without oil, sauce, etc.), which I find cheeky. Plus €2.50 for the coperto. So, we paid €12.50.
02/10/2025: Lovely spot for a delicious coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice in the sunshine. Bruschetta - bread was a bit too supermarkety-looking and tomatoes were kinda watery.

14/09/2025: Dinner with live music and dancing. We had the fish menu for €27 per person. The appetizers were mixed seafood and seafood salad, but they were a bit disappointing. The first course was risotto with shrimp and asparagus, which was good. The second course was sea bass fillet and chips, which was delicious and well-cooked. The portions were generous, and the mixed fried fish was crispy and delicious.

09/10/2025: The hotel is historic which I like, location was excellent, rooms and food were terrible. Service was good. They gave us a water kettle and tea bags when we asked for them.
08/10/2025: Friendly and keen to serve staff, fantastic location and a nice breakfast.
Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by frequent cockroach visitations in the bathroom!! It would have been at least a 4 star....

If you don't like the flavors of lake fish, choose only between two first courses and two second courses....we ask for penne all'amatriciana and they bring us (after more than half an hour) the trofie....then a cutter...ino...ino....of mixed cold cuts...15 euros for slices of poor quality and quantity....we will not return 😔

30/08/2025: We have just had the most lovely couple of days break at Hotel San Marino.
Beautiful view from our room. Hotel was clean and cosy. The lady in charge was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Really good value for money including the breakfast.
Do not listen to the negative reviews as it really is a lovely place to stay.
We will be back !
30/08/2025: Absolutely charming hotel. Elegant and clean with plenty of character. Beautiful lake view from the room. Very friendly and helpful hosts and the highlight was definitely the delicious food.
Although rural there was a bus stop directly opposite the hotel who h was perfect for exploring. Would really love to return here.

28/09/2025: I wanted to try the fried bleak fish. Bitter, inedible. I imagine it was fried in old oil, and the whole bleak fish was two in the entire portion, all broken. Strange. They were kind. I definitely paid too much.
26/09/2025: Terrible food, greasy place, inadequate service. Avoid this place.
P.S. Overpriced.

03/08/2025: Very kind and attentive. The gluten-free pizza was made fresh. It was truly excellent, and the crispy, gluten-free mixed fried food was delicious. I highly recommend it.

07/09/2025: The guy at the bar was rude; the price we paid seemed too high for what we got, and in fact, we later realized he'd put items on the receipt that we didn't buy. Unfortunately, we realized it too late to go back and complain. Disappointing. Not recommended.

23/07/2025: We went to this café for breakfast today... Excellent, we tried the almond cake... excellent, compliments to the pastry chef.
We also bought various souvenirs, the prices were reasonable, and the lady was courteous and kind.
A truly beautiful place.
